Bought gravel and sand- It was great, price ok. System of driving up to get in line is not easily understood. Seems you are supposed to enter from the other end of the complex (separate entrance), park out of the way, go inside and order, then drive forward to wait turn for loader. Not bad system - IF you know how it works....! Owner told me one day, as I was walking inside. Try signage, or perhaps indicate online.

I was working there for another company and they fired me and cut my day short and pretty much made the rest of my day miserable. Thanks for ruining someone else's day for no reason.

My experience was awful. They closed the gate 45 minutes early when I tried to make it after work. The staff are horrendous, lied to me over the phone about the manager. Then called me a lier when I went to return a plant. The cashier was awful. She had a terrible attitude and a creepy smirk. I’ve never had an experience like this at a store. I was quite unsettled

So I been developing a mild form of TS, batting and clapping my hands in the air to kill these little black gnats. I knew that I had to to head down to my local Art Knapp's and see my local Pro. I walked up to the customer service counter and said, "Good afternoon, I was wondering if you'd be so kind as to help me. It seems as though I have these little bla." And that's where the kind lady interjected and said - "I have just the right thing!" And she did. She read my mind and now I don't have any more little black gnats! Pro service.

They have great top soil.bought a bag and the plants love it. So a year later I go and get another scoop of soil. I noticed that the price is the same. Great. Pay 32 bucks and that the bucket looks smaller. A boy it was I got a quarter of what I got last year. i hate getting ripped off. And the funny thing is 3 weeks ago we went to buy plants and there fruit trees were around about$90 the other summer stuff was also very high. We left empty handed. Went elsewhere and I got a pear tree for $40. Good but art Knapp.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I usually go to The Greenery for my strawberries, but they were out. I decided to check out Art Knapp, so i called them to see if they had any. A lady answered and gave me prices, so I drove there to pick some up. As I arrived I saw that the prices that I got were wrong, and the strawberries were more expensive. You can get 6 plants from The Greenery for 3.79, while at Art Knapp they are 1 for 3.99. I decided to buy them anyways, I planted them near the other strawberries that I already had. 2 days later, Art knapp strawberries are laying flat and wilted, while everything else is nice and up! I was very disappointed to say the least... 4 days later, same story, but there was a strawberry that formed so I decided to try it. It had the consistency of rubber! What kind of plants are you selling there Art Knapp? I will only recommend people to NOT go and shop here. Overpriced, Bad product, and bad customer service.

Art Knapp just lost a customer and I'll never recommend them to anyone I know. I didn't lose out on a lot of money but it's the principle of the matter. I bought this Navaho Blackberry plant from them and a Loch Ness in the spring. The loch ness is doing awesome but the navaho is dying. Same watering conditions and soil. I brought it in and all I had was the tags, the navaho didn't come with a Art Knapp tag for some reason but the loch ness did and I have the written price with the tag the navaho did come with. They wouldn't give me a simple exchange for another blackberry bush because I didn't have the original receipt. I could see if I didn't have the tags at all or if I wanted a cash refund. No one else in this city writes the price on the tags like that. I could have easily bought a blackberry plant and returned this with the other receipt if I actually wanted to rip them off. Hope it was worth the $16.99 to get a bad review and lose a customer. I was about to buy some more plants but I'll go elsewhere from now on.

I'm a total Garden nerd and Art Knapp has what I like. I garden organic and they have a decent selection of organic options. They have a huge verity of trees, shrubs and plants, plenty of soil options and knowledgeable staff.

Maggots, in your cello veggies, I am so angry, I bought some garden soil for a new 6 X 10 raised bed in last month, I added some Art Naps brand regular Compost, Peat Moss and their Composted Steer Manure. And I bought all my veggie plants, couple days later I planted my garden. I soon started to notice my onions and beets not looking so good after I-2 weeks after I transplanted them. I pulled a couple onions out and they were covered with maggots, maggots were everywhere and in the beets. My $250.00 for dirt and plants gone. We had to dig all the dirt out 3 feet deep and again 6 X 10. And all the wood had go to the dump, Thanks Art Naps. I went back to Art Naps and talked to someone, but she could care less soon darted away. Never got maggots at Greenery, see ya Art Naps. PS you charge 2 X as much money for everything you sell there, maybe do some quality control. By the way they also had leaf miners in all the beets at the store I noticed them when I went back to talk about the maggots. So, everyone that bought beets from Art Naps last 2 weeks has leaf miners too. Distressed I called several places no cared, no offered to help, till I called Kel-Lake Greenhouses, they invited me out to Lake Country and spent about an hour with me. We discussed my maple tree and toured some other tree as I looking for one, and I got a real cure for my maggots and a great explanation of how to use everything. A special thanks to the lovely blond older lady she was so nice and kind. The younger blond with the short blond hair at the till was very knowledgeable too. A great afternoon, well spent, thank you!

Staff is awesome and very helpful but you have to drive there to get the info when the phone is busy. Their website is unhelpful. In fact they don't have one. It's 2021, what retailer doesn't have a website? I can't think of how many lost opportunities they are dealing with, with prospective customers going elsewhere during this pandemic and Covid restrictions.

I bought my son two venus fly traps here and when we went back a week later to pick our pumpkins, he picked out another venus fly trap. What a great place to shop! Love their vast selection of plants. They have cute home decor items, but very pricey for things made in China. Clothing is also sold but staggering boutique prices although very stylish and unique. But $80 for a summer dress sold at a garden centre just doesnt make sense to me.
