I used to buy a lot of feed here including bulk mini bags but my last FIVE visits there has been a screwup every single time! I ask for crumbles and when I get home it’s a bag of lay pellets or something different. So many mixups on bulk mini bags that I haven’t ordered in awhile. It seems some of the new workers don’t care that one travels from 2 hours away and I’ve even shown up and the bag I was quoted suddenly isn’t there. I’ve been buying my feed elsewhere and have a lot less problems. It’s a shame because I like the employees who’ve been there the longest but the turnover rate seems to be going up.

I purchased a beautiful large chicken house from Purity, which didn't fit into my SUV. The staff there tried so hard to remove various parts in order to make it fit. I was so appreciative for their extra effort. After one of the manager's realized the house didn't fit in my car I was completely blown away by his offer to deliver the unit all the way to Barnhartvale! This just does not happen in Calgary where I live! He even refused my offer of money for the delivery. This company and the people running it gets 5 stars and two thumbs up!

My go-to place for dog food. Always seem to have a deal on quality food so you spend approximately the same as cheap stuff from other stores but it's actually good for your pet. Excellent, knowledgeable and very helpful staff. Clean, bright and organized.

Unable to explain a price increase, then told to bring in my receipts because I was charged the wrong price, only to be chastised and told the price had gone up once I brought in my recepts. Complete waste of time. Rude, incompetent staff. Go to Peavey Mart or Horse barn.

We have been loyal customers for years because the staff is friendly and knowledgable. My questions are always so kindly answered. I was looking for a particular tree that was sold out. Instead of brushing me off, I was added to the order list for next season to ensure I will get this tree! Also, in our rush we missed loading one prepaid bag of soil, the staff allowed us to swing back (we were 40mins into our trek home) and grab said bag. Amazing customer service!

In the midst of the wild fires we needed to get sprinklers. Most stores were sold out or closed as it was a Sunday. The owner, John opened the store for us and provided the supplies we need at a very very good price. He even threw in a bag of our favourite liquorice.
