She was so sweet I still ended up making the purchase just cuz I was so happy with the customer service. 11/10 definitely check them out. I always get everything I need for my garden here. If you shop early when they get their first deliveries in May you can get some exciting new varieties of plants and shrubs. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. When the major plant sales are over they use the space to press grapes for wine, smells amazing!

When you go there, staff are very friendly, engaging and really helpful. Rose is fantastic at finding solutions to gardening questions and helping find amazing gifts. Expect courtesy, help carrying purchases and great ideas for inspiration. Prices are in the higher side but the quality and service are there for those who want more than a self serve garden centre.

I’m addicted to this place! I recently moved to Hamilton after buying a house in December. This is my first summer in the house and the backyard grass was in terrible shape from all the snow which caused the ground to sink and cause flooding. The guy who helped me choose the right type of seed was so nice, kind and patient. He knew what he was taking about because without even seeing my yard, he told me what to get and it worked! I now have lush beautiful grass coming up and my yard is looking amazing. I also bought herbs, flowers and plants for the front and back yards. Every time I go in (almost every weekend) I’m approached by staff asking if I need help and if I don’t, they aren’t pushy and if I do they are more than willing to walk around and help you out with what you’re looking for. Even when they’re busy, they don’t make you feel rushed or that you’re wasting their time. I’m so glad to have this place near by.

All Staff were absolutely AMAZING!! Very busy place so even getting into parking lot would have been difficult but they had people directing traffic and parking which made it so much easier. Once inside the staff was beyond helpful, very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I know nothing about gardening and was trying to make a garden myself. They explained what and how to organize the garden. I don't usually bother with reviews but I was so pleased and thankful for their help that I had to leave my opinion here. The only thing that would have made my visit more than the perfection it was, would to have buggies as well as carts as we (my daughter and I) had her twin girls with us so it would have made it easier as we had to carry them. I went again today on Mother's Day. I got the name(s) of the young man that helped us yesterday, his name is JOE! And today we had the exact same service, absolutely excellent from a young man named JACOB! I wanted to make sure I had the names today because both deserve to be recognized for such excellent service. The place is really busy and to see them manage so many customers so quickly, professional and with so much kindness and respect is something I do not see often these days so it is greatly appreciated!! I hope the boss sees this review and recognizes them for excellent service and I hope they appreciate these employees. Again thank you guys!!

Been coming to this garden centre my whole life. Love this place, love the staff, and love what's available. It can always become a little over stimulating when walking through, envisioning any possible garden layout you can conjure. Great variety of vegetables as well, whether you're looking for seeds or plants that have already begun growing. Also carry a good variety of tools and fertilizers to maintain your garden, and the staff are very helpful any way needed.

We went to look around for some perennials. Large selection of flowers and plants indoors and out. There’s a good selection of garden decorations as well. Some landscaping items such as gravel and stone are also available for purchase. There is a a wine making area as well for making your own wine onsite.

Was not expecting it to be as big as it was..lots to look at...picked my first indoor houseplants-golden pothos- told the employee it was my first plants and was advised not to water it for a week. To give it a good water every 6 or so days and to mist everyday... they seemed kind of busy I guess. After about 4 days i noticed the one was severely dying...i thought I was misting it too much so I stopped..day 6 my roommate said it was almost dead..she checked and said the soil was bone dry. When we put water in it the soil lifted with the water in one massive clump. I like my plants and they're selection is good but the employees could have been a bit more helpful. Clearly it hadn't been watered in awhile..I guess its mmy fault I didn't check but then again I still have no idea what I'm doing

Fantastic place for garden needs. I've been coming here for a few years now since first discovering this gem. Not only do the offer a full range of plants, soils, and landscaping materials but they also have a store chock full of fun and cottagy garden and home decorations. I purchased a stone bird bath here and I've been very happy with it. They also have the biggest variety of pots and planters I've seen anywhere in the area. Staff is generally friendly and helpful, although sometimes tough to find staff who are not busy. Maybe a couple more on deck during busy times would be great. I highly recommend this garden centre.

Went there yesterday to purchase a flat of wave petunias, 2 small ivy's, 2 small asparagus ferns, 2 variegated vines and 4 small baby's breath. These were to be used for fillers in a couple of planters. My bill came to a whopping $50.72. They do not list what you purchase other than to print "seasonal" which is annoying. The plants are healthy but overpriced to be sure. Don't believe I can afford to shop there anymore.

Today is the second time I came here to get some plants. The first experience was good the staff were helpful and polite. But not today. I took a African voilet and approach a middle age lady to find out if they will die during winter becos I am no planter and have zero experience with plants.First I have to say I'm wearing a mask shes not,when I approach her she immediately move far away from me and I am a chinese. Next I ask her if these plants will die in winter and her answer is (no, these are indoor plants unless you put them in the closet then they will die)! Like what lady I'm asking you in a polite manner and this is how you serve ur customers. Well I guess becos I'm not white. Dont have to be rude every customer is equal and same. The rest of the staff are very nice .

I'm a novice gardener. I went in looking to purchase a few things and get some advice. The first thing on my list was something that needed to be cheap and as soon as I said that word they started treating me like I was wasting their time. I had measurements and they were talking to me like I came in unprepared. They didn't even give me an opportunity to tell them what else was on my list. if they had treated me well they would have made a customer for life. They are the closest garden center to my home and I am willing to driver further so I don't have to go back. The folks at the local Home Depot were much friendlier!

We get our Christmas tree and garland here every year because the trees are beautiful and its a stress free experience. The owner or boss is very bad, who just want to rob customer's money. Last Wednesday I ordered 34 rolls of sod, plus delivery. Found 7 of them were already dry out. I took the pictures, and called him next day. He said no worry, just kept watering and the grass would come back live. After a week, I found about a quater area of these 7 rolls never became live, actually rotton. The rest 27 rolls grew very well. I took the picture again, and talked to him. His attitude changed 180 degree. He denied his responsibility. I wonder how he could do business like this. It was a cheat. He put bad products in the delivery and took advantage of custome's trust. He doesn't deserve managing a business. Indeed he is a cheater and customer's- money- robber. I will tell everyboay not to do business with him.

Friendly with unique garden products at the right price. They have the most realistic evergreens in plastic that from 10 feet away you can't tell the difference. These will work in planters or in shady areas that has caused me to lose 10 real evergreens last year. Lifesaver and dollar saver. Bob
