We had a stubborn piece of our garden, facing south, nothing will grow but weeds it seems and with the restrictions on water usage we decided, after looking their projects in our area, to ask for a quote. The price was a bit of a surprise and both my wife and I already agreed to go with this company. After taking measurements we agreed on the project and the materials were brought over. The same day the project was finished 50% as agreed and two days later the rest was done. We were so impressed that we asked for a little bit more and Chris was happy to work it out. Every other landscape company we contacted quoted us 5 times what Top Gun quoted us. I am so glad they were flexible enough to start and to add a little extra work. I can only give them a 5 star recommendation now that we have seen the final bill.

We Got Games

Just editing this and adding a few pics. Mistake on the invoice is correct but the pics show how this wasn't done mulch or no mulch. The tent caterpillar issue isn't there fault but it's nice that they know about the problem but didn't let me know that there was one when they were there considering they were working all around the tree. Thanks. Apparently not finishing a job means the job is done. I'm going to pay the balance I owe but I do realize now why another companies quote was a few hundred dollars higher. It's probably because they finish the job. Since they've "finished" some weeds are growing out of the mulch already. They didn't mulch all around the front and left under a ever green area untouched and now maybe by coincidence that ever green tree is dying when before they came it was in pretty good shape for the 5 years I've lived here. The front center of my yard we apparently didn't talk about mulching but just a clean up and it wasn't cleaned up well. The email I received said there was no talk about the removal of a stump but the second worker who was there at the time of the appraisal fully pushed at it with his foot. I wouldn't have even minded paying extra had it been a miscommunication but instead it's just a we did a professional job and pay or we'll take the sod back. I've been in customer service for 30 years and this isn't a job well done. I'll post a few pictures tomorrow showing the "finished" job and dying tree. I actually really liked the guys doing the job so it's nothing personal it's just a business review.

Sure I will be the first to put a review !!! They are not landscapers there just a bunch of University students...They ruined me tree out front..did not do what they said they were going to do and don't know what they are doing so I fired them..Yes they are cheap but its not with hiring them ! Have a great day ! :) I NEVER WILL HIRE TOP GUN.......You do not know what you are doing and the grass is even coming back and to ACCUSE me of taking your wheelbarrow is unbelievable if anything TOP gun should give me my money back for the bad and butchering job you did !

This is the second year in a row that we've used Top Gun Landscaping and both times we have been exceptionally happy with the work completed. Chris and his team were punctual, organized, knowledgeable and finished our projects quickly. Some of the work done included tidying up of existing gardens; creating new ones, setting up a retaining wall for the garden, tree/bush planting and adding top soil and seed to our lawns.we had various flower beds. When they finished everything was tidied up perfectly! Chris communicated with us ahead of the job, during and after to ensure we were satisfied. I would certainly recommend this company for your landscaping needs.

Hired this company to repair a wall and remove some shrubbery. When I received their quote, the price certainly reflected what needed to be done but it was not explicit in the scope of work. They showed up, fixed the wall, and when I asked about the shrubbery was told it was not included. I suggested that they did not spend anything close to the amount of labour quoted, or materials, and was told they would adjust the invoice. They did. But the invoice came out to exactly the amount of my 50% deposit. Chris was misleading and deceptive. I have communicated all of the above to him, and had he reached out for a resolution, I am sure we could have found common ground. I would not hire them again.

My wife and I have had Chris and his crew work on numerous landscape projects for us over the past three years without any concerns. We started small and ‘tested the waters’ with topsoil, top-dressing etc, and now have ‘graduated’ to having our entire front garden redesigned! They’ve done an amazing job! This led into a large paver stone/interlock project that corrected a 20+ year drainage issue at the back of our house/garage area. It looks and functions so well that FOUR neighbours were impressed enough to have Top Gun do similar stone work at their properties. We had work done by Top Gun and as previously stated, they are not landscapers by profession but University students. They started well, friendly and on time but we are not happy with their work and had to have them come back to try and make things right but no luck. Now we have to find another company to re-do what Top Gun did or could not do.
