When my wife and I found out we had to cut down an ash tree we were concerned about how much it would cost and how it would impact our backyard. We contacted several companies and had several quotes. Royal City Tree Care was extremely competitive with their estimate. After speaking to Karen and Jonathan we decided to go with them. We are ultra impressed with their work and level of skill. They were meticulous with cutting the tree down and ensuring nothing in our backyard was damaged (such as our pool or deck or the fence against the tree). They also advised on what would be a good replacement based on the soil and our desire to have more light in the backyard. Royal City Tree Care would be my top choice again in the future when we require more tree work without a shadow of a doubt. We will be referring them to friends and family in the area that require work as well. Highly recommended if you want to ensure work is done in a timely, clean and safe manner. After contacting several tree removal companies I found the professional arborists at Royal City Tree Care. The quote was not only reasonable but also truly professional. It included a complete itemized list detailing the work to be completed, copies of their insurance policy and all professional licenses. Because the price was so reasonable, compared to other quotes, I was skeptical that it could be true! Wow – was I worried for nothing. The prompt, professional and courteous service was matched by the skills and hard work displayed! With 4 trees, some up to +60 feet tall hanging over the roof of my house, were no match for the precision of Royal City Tree Care. Every branch fell exactly where directed . These branches were then promptly removed and my yard cleaned. When you are good at what you do you … make it look easy… the professional arborists from Royal City Tree Care were at the top of their game and made it look like Childs play! Highly recommended – In fact I already have!

We were ready to hire him for the job and just needed a copy of the quote in hand. He never follwofo through and did not reply to subsequent phone calls or emails. Talk about a company that goes the extra mile. 4 years ago during the ice storm, they came immediately and cleaned up our yard, took down 3 trees and took care of the brush. They worked straight through the day and left to help out another few homes in need that very same day. A very caring couple that connects well upon arrival. On another occasion, they helped take down 2 very large ash trees that were hanging over our house in a very precarious position and just 2 weeks ago they took down 11 ash trees in 1 day. I would recommend Royal City Tree Care in a heartbeat to anyone looking for tree care for their property.

Local Guelph crew with all the equipment, skills and insurance to handle any job. For us they were removing 2 trees from our backyard. The crew showed up at the time planned and were very respectful. They did exactly what was agreed to and left the property neat and tidy. They removed 2 trees and had to be diligent to make sure that our property that was under the trees (house, porch, fences, shed) was not negatively impacted. They didn't cause any damage at all. I would highly recommend them for any of your tree removal needs. Although I've not used them for their other services yet, when it comes to needing any tree work done in the future, they'll be on the top of my list.

Jonathan and his crew removed 5 Austrian Pine trees in our backyard. The crew was amazing. Took about 4 hours and they had everything cut down, chipped and cleaned. Jonathan also removed some brush I had from the yard which was extremely helpful. Will definately be hiring Royal City Tree Care when our other trees need attention. They left the wood in tidy piles (we wanted to keep the wood), took away the twigs and small brances, and did an amazing clean-up - they even took care of the sawdust!
