I've popped in a few times to this shop and loved it. I kill every plant ever so I was a bit apprehensive to invest in some green things for my apartment! My boyfriend got me a certificate for Christmas and the owner was very patient and helpful with helping me choose the right options for my space and lifestyle.

I’ve brought home some beauties from Plant, but I’ve also found spider mites on several of them, which were a big headache to get rid of (I regrettably did not keep my receipts). Friendly staff and nice selection, but this was the first time I’ve had to deal with infestations like this. I’ve never had infested plants from other places I’ve bought from.

Young, eager but naive. It’s a nice space in the mall but they seem to always be battling pests. The 2 employees talked openly about treating for pests on current stock in front of us during our shopping appointment a few days ago at which point we decided it be best to leave.

I recently visited Plant, while leisurely exploring the Old Quebec Street Mall, and was so intrigued by the store's wonderfully organic aesthetic that what I thought would be a brief tour, ended with the purchase of 4 new plants for my home. The large variety of products and inviting atmosphere kept me entertained for upwards of 20 minutes while I grew attached to several healthy, reasonably priced plants. The availability of unique items, friendly and knowledgable staff, excellent customer service and fair prices were all contributing factors to an overwhelmingly positive first experience inside this well decorated retail space. I look forward to returning to this location to collect more plants in the near future, as the ones I purchased initially continue to thrive.

Their website is completely useless especially during these times, they expect you to have an instagram account to view the plants they have for sale and when you don't have an Instagram account they will kindly provide photos or videos, which you can not see the entire plant. Which had insect damage on three of the four leaves and the stem, was told to but a support in this junivelile plant lmao the stems been infected. Be advised you can not return even if their plants have been infected. They will tell you to propagate. Winning Completely unprofessional

Amazing customer service. I shopped for the first time during covid by booking a Zoom appointment. The staff were super friendly and took their time showing me all the plants and letting me pick the exact ones I wanted. I was worried about how I could carry them all out of there so I showed up with a bin - but they had everything super well packaged when I showed up! Was super easy to carry out my many plants. Excited to go back!

plant is one of my favourite places to get some houseplants. i love that they have care instructions on the stickers they place on the nursery pots. online shopping with them through a virtual appointment has been really simple to set up. if/when i have extra questions, the staff are always so quick to answer and are very knowledgeable. the store itself was warm and inviting. i really hope that we'll be able to check out the new location soon! a lot of my plants featured on my instagram @nomoreplants are from plant! ???? this review is for the grand opening giveaway they're hosting but i believe they are one of the best whole heartedly ????

Plant is by far the best option if you’re interested in a new plant specifically or just looking for some more greenery in your life. The store itself is beautiful always being so full of lush green life. The owner or any staff is always more than helpful in narrowing down what you may be looking for. As well there is a lot of information posted on or around the plants explaining their needs or other considerations. This also leads me to also compliment how well they’ve pivoted in the pandemic with the priority of safety, which in my eyes could be hard to do with a small business but completely necessary. Yet she manages navigate these tough times while doing so safely and efficiently. Their social media is great if you’re looking for more info or just for beautiful photos of plants throughout your day. All in all best Plant store around. Happy Growing!

My favorite plant store in Guelph... and that's saying something because there are quite a few great places to shop for plants here! Cara and co. have created a comfortable environment to browse and ask questions. Whether you've only ever had a succulent from a grocery store and are interested in collecting more plants or you're running out of space because you've been collecting for years, you'll feel welcome at Plant. Plant has the best selection in the city. There's a lot to look at and it's very hard not to pick up a new plant friend if you go in :)

I’ve been shopping at Plant for the past two years, and am always blown away by how lovely and kind their staff are. They always answered all my questions and pointed me towards plants that were the perfect fit for my environment. Their plants are clearly labelled to describe how to care for them - which is SO helpful for someone like me, who used to kill every single plant I bought. Thankfully, all the plants I’ve purchased from Plant are still going strong! The labels are so helpful when gifting plants as well. They also make sure to label toxic vs pet/-friendly plants.

The absolute best customer service ever and the staff are all amazing, extremely smart and helpful! I had a plant that was not doing well so I emailed them asking for help and without even asking for a refund, they gave me one and apologized profusely! The plants are also SO affordable and you can get a fair amount of plants without breaking the bank, not to mention the wide variety of plants they sell. If you are looking to get plants I would highly recommend coming here as you will have an amazing experience and will not be disappointed.
