Absolute trash. Came in to rent a Uhaul, staff members bickering between themselves. Filled in paperwork, went to get trailer and the thing is filthy, and tire is flat. Oh we dont change tires here they say. There is another trailer out front identical, but hasnt been checked in from the last return. Oops. It has a broken taillight. We dont fix those here the owner says. So what do you want to do? He asks. Refund me i guess, thanks for nothing.

First time phoning in to ask about a spark plug I needed, and instantly got put on hold (the tone of the lady who picked up was very rude mind you). Literally spent 20 minutes on hold until I just hung up, as there are other places I could be phoning. Clearly they don’t need or want the business, and like wasting people’s time.

The staff was friendly but the equipment was trash and they wouldn’t even send a tech to help fix it when we were stuck in the middle of a job due to the garbage I had rented. Only upside, they promised to refund my rental fee.

No one can accuse these folks of great customer service or happy faces. The front desk are consistently indifferent to my business and this time around one was downright rude. Maybe she isn't being paid enough!? I suppose respect and appreciation for business are not an obligation and this older woman on the front desk definitely exercised this right today. I got charged 4 hours for a two hour rental and no discussion! Regardless, if you've never met someone before and may never see them again, one probably doesn't need to be so blatantly rude? Three stars because the polite, happy and helpful young guys in the shop more than made up for the rudeness of the front desk. Maybe they get paid better? Ancient and well worn equipment too! I'll put up with the wait at Home Depot next time.

Very slow on repairs, they only work on the stuff they rent and if you bother them enough they will look at yours. When you drop off they always tell you they will call you next week, took 5 weeks to repair my pressure washer.

Going to rentco was the best decision I've made in a while. Needed a wood splitter for a big job. When the equipment malfunctioned the rentco tool shed was prompt with the exchange. We had rented a small utility trailer for a four day weekend, to use to move my mom out of her house, and into an apartment, as it was time for her to downsize. The rental process turned out to be very efficient, although I was nervous at first, because they can't confirm availability until 24 hours before you pick it up, but it turned out they had what we needed in the location we were hoping to use. We picked the trailer up without any difficulty, however, after we got it to our house and started to load the few things we would need from there, we realized the lights on the trailer were not working, and the fault was entirely with our vehicle. After several attempts to fix the problem, we realized it wasn't going to work, so we drove the trailer back to Rentco, and left it there. We sent an email letting them know what had happened, as it was after hours, and left the keys and rental agreement in the drop box. I received a call the next day from the manager, asking what had gone wrong. I told him that there was a problem with the wiring in my vehicle, and he told me that they would credit my Visa for the entire unused portion of the rental, which was three of the four days, which I felt was exceptionally generous, as it was a long weekend and the fault was entirely ours. Terrific customer service in my opinion - entirely unexpected - and I will definitely use them again, should the need arise.

Dont listen to negative reviews. I work professionally in forestry and for my self and my company I would go to no other place for parts or service. I can have parts on a bus from a call from the bush that arrive across northern alberta that night. 5 stars. Best people

I feel very strongly that you should get new t shirts for the staff. I feel as though it would increase employee satisfaction and make them feel appreciated. I feel like they deserve it. I have a lot of feelings.

Good selection of equipment. I rented a aerator and dethatcher to do my yard. So I get them home and second pull on the cord and it snaps off. Attempted to fix it but the recoil was in pieces. At the time the store was closed so I didn't try to call. I brought it back in the morning and I wasn't offered a refund or discount for the machine that didn't work. They did offer a different one but I already used my lawn mower with the dethatcher blade and got the job done. The guy I was dealing with was extremely rude and didn't care that I paid for some old junk that didn't work. All in all the equipment is really old and worn out. I would not recommend this place. Just save your money and go to home depot for newer equipment .

Got screwed over on renting tables and chairs for the weekend. I talked to a lady on the the phone 3 weeks prior and was told that I could rent 8 ft tables and chairs. And that if I picked up Friday and returned Monday that it was only 1 at rental. When I got there they only had 6 ft tables for me. Plus upon returning the tables and chairs they tried charging me for 4 days. The guy behind the counter called me a liar and didn't believe a word I said. Horrible customer service. I ended up paying only 2 days total even tho I shouldn't have. Never going back.
