I have had some sort of vegetable garden for over 10 years so I'm not a newbie but Helene is a MASTER. Her approach increases productivity, yield and the gardening season. Really happy to have engaged her for some assistance in learning about winter gardening and excited to apply what I've learned in the upcoming season and in years to come. On top of it, she is a super kind, approachable person who really makes gardening accessible to all.

(Translated) I discovered Hélène last spring thanks to my neighbor. I was curious to know this "lady from Aylmer" who was gardening year round. It's still quite special. Since then, I've been listening to her weekly videos (on Facebook) in which she not only shares her passion and enthusiasm for gardening, but encourages us to step out of our comfort zone and try new things, including extending the gardening season. I learn a lot about fall and winter gardening from the free materials she provides, and her instructions are clear and easy to follow. J’étais curieuse de connaître cette « dame d’Aylmer » qui faisait du jardinage à l’année longue. C’est quand même assez spécial. Depuis, j’écoute ses vidéos hebdomadaires (sur Facebook) dans lesquelles elle partage non seulement sa passion et son enthousiasme pour le jardinage, mais elle nous encourage à sortir de notre zone de confort et d’essayer des nouvelles choses, dont le prolongement de la saison de jardinage. J’apprends plein de trucs à propos du jardinage d’automne et d’hiver grâce à la documentation qu’elle fournit gratuitement, et ses instructions sont claires et faciles à suivre. (Translated) My 5-year-old son and I attended with pleasure the parent-child gardening workshops offered by Mrs. Hélène Hébert during the summer. She received us in her garden every week with enthusiasm and generosity. She shared with us her knowledge on different aspects of growing fruits and vegetables. She knew, with a lot of patience, to make contribute young and old to the task. We especially liked the preparation of the soil where my son was able to dig, rake and spread some compost, and of course he loved the harvest and the possibility of tasting the fruits. We are delighted with our experience and recommend this workshop to anyone wishing to improve their knowledge of gardening and vegetable growing. (Original) Mon fils de 5 ans et moi avons assisté avec plaisir aux ateliers de jardinage parents-enfants offerts par Madame Hélène Hébert durant l'été. Elle nous a reçu dans son jardin toutes les semaines avec entrain et générosité. Elle nous a partagé ses connaissances sur différents aspects de la culture des fruits et légumes. Elle a su , avec beaucoup de patience, faire contribuer les petits et les grands a la tâche. Nous avons particulièrement aimé, la préparation des sols ou mon fils a pu bêcher, ratisser et étaler du compost, et bien sûr il a adorer la récolte et la possibilité de goûter aux fruits. Nous sommes ravis de notre expérience et nous recommandons cet atelier à tous ceux qui souhaitent améliorer leur connaissances en jardinage et culture potagère.

Hélène gave us a presentation on off-season gardening which perfectly met our needs and which was very well received by the participants. I didn't know the first thing about gardening when I met Hélène a few months ago. I now have a thriving small garden with lots of bell peppers, grape tomatoes, herbs, and even a mini watermelon on the way! I contacted Hélène Spring 2021 to help me plan my 21 garden. After a consultation Hélène provided us with a proposed plan. She also provided numerous seeds and optional extras such as mulch tarp and supplies to make a fall hoop house. Both worked beyond my expectations. Our 21 garden was our best yet! Hélène is fun to work with, her enthusiasm for gardening is infectious!. I am looking forward to our working together in the future. Harold
