The warranty offered is -worthless-, they do not care about customer service one bit. We purchased 2 apple trees this spring, the kind with 4 different grafts on them. As you can see in the pictures below, that is the state they were in when they DENIED our warranty claim, saying there were still leaves on the branches. For one of them, "leaves on the branches" is generous to begin with, for the other, half the branches don't have leaves, which would mean that we're losing out on multiple grafts. On a tree that was sold as having a multitude of apple types, that is not what is expected at all. We would never recommend doing business with them for any plant you expect to keep in the long term. Treating them like a short term flower shop may be a safer approach.

Two Weeping Larix Pendulum trees....they are astounding...exquisitely beautiful....for a ceremony for Peace with children .....I have been searching since May at every nursery in the Ottawa Gatineau area....they have a huge selection....kind staff...beautiful live chirping birds in a huge cage...selection of everything you can think of dealing with plants....I wanted something astounding for this occasion...I got wintering wysteria at Peter Knippel Nursery....but did not find exactly what I wanted there....went to Make It Green in Stittsville....got beautiful papyrus....but could not find what I wanted...this was the fourth time I went back to Botanix...combining the flowering vines from Peter...with these 10 foot high arching trees...that were mesmerizing in shape....these are the three best places I have found...and I recommend these three to everyone....the rose strawberry hydrangeas at Peter...were so beautiful and fragrant but not suitable for my needs...anything I would personally need in the future....all these three places....and the staff are so very kind and patient and helpful at all these three places...

Do not go there. They sell dead plants. they do not care at all. I've been there several time now and it's always very, very poor quality. You'll pay the market price though! Mealybugs, aphids, thrips, dead leaf just lying around. Every plant I bought there had root rot or mildew or some sort of affliction. Got to Rona. Go to Lauzon if you can. Dont go to Cloutier. The word is the owners specifically tell their employees not to care for the plant and sell them full price until they are dead dead. Highly stressing this: do not shop there. They want your money, and they are NOT plant lovers. Hopefully, they will sell the business to someone who does one day but for now, I prefer to do half an hour or more drive and get the quality AND give money to passionate people.

I found some interesting plants at Botanix, they have an impressive selection of succulents and cacti. The prices are pretty reasonable. However, the care of their plants is pretty bad and seems mostly due to overwatering and cold temperatures. A lot of their plants look stressed, etiolated, visible root rot, etc. Still an interesting place to stop by but inspect your plants carefully.

The staff was difficult to locate. When we finally tracked down an employee, she told us that she wasn't the right person to ask about buying trees. Even though she had a walkie talkie, she didn't call anyone over. Instead, she just turned her back and ignored us. I always enjoy shopping here and try to make sure I have a free hour to browse because they have A LOT of stuff. We have bought multiple trees, plants, decor and wood shavings over the past few years. They are always super helpful in French and in English. If an employee is not sure about something, they will call a colleague who is. Our 10 trees have all survived and are ALL thriving. Some of the plants inside during Winter can be a bit dry but I still think their plants look much healthier than those at HD or Rona. They have a friendly resident cat who putters around the store and a duck pond in back as well, which really adds to the friendly atmosphere. Very nice place to visit and prices are reasonable with a good selection. Merci beaucoup!

This is a great place to get everything for the garden. They have a huge selection of plants, types of soils, composed and mulch mixes. Plus they have a great selection of pots for your plants. The service is great. When ordering larger items such as bags of soil they deliver it to your vehicle. I love this store.
