I recently I had to re-order cheques for the very few instances I still use cheques. At the same time I was ordering some friends of mine were also ordering cheques (we're part of the same group that asks for post-dated cheque payments for our membership fees). There was some complaint among the group that we still have to use cheques, which does seem antiquated these days, but also about the cost of getting cheques from the bank. It would be better if you can add one more option that whether the client want you to punch the holes for them or not. Because we want to punch the holes by ourselves then we can make the cheque we order fit in the cheque holder we prepare.

I've used this company three times previously, while I wouldn't say the cheques are the highest quality, overall I've never had any real issues. This time around however, unfortunately things were a little different. Turnaround was certainly super responsive - I received the shipping notice the day after sending in my sample cheque. Certainly no issues there. Where they let me down this time is the quality of the cheques, and their apparent unwillingness to address the concerns I raised. 1) There is a printer's crop/alignment mark in the MICR line - the numbers at the bottom of the cheque - on 75% of my order. I've not seen them before on cheques from any of the banks I've dealt with, and I know that line is supposed to be void of anything but the numbers. The response I received from Maureen at ASAP? "It's supposed to be there..." Sorry, Maureen...no it's not. 2) The formatting of my name did not match the sample cheque I provided. I like all uppercase, and no 'dot' after my middle initial, and this is how it's done on my sample. Instead, ASAP printed in Sentence Case, with a dot after my middle initial and while it's not the biggest deal, it's not the way I wanted it. Maureen's response? "It's our standard format and it won't affect your being able to clear your cheques..." Even if we ignore the name formatting, the extraneous characters in the MICR name were enough for me to ask for a reprint. I thought such a request would not be a big deal, but Maureen wasn't going to have a bar of it. Overall a disappointing experience this time around, and next time I need cheques or want to give recommendations to others, I think I'll go elsewhere.

Great quality cheques and amazingly cheap compared to the banks. My only concern (and it's a small one at that) is that there seems to be some communication issues. I've ordered 4 sets of cheques from them for different companies/accounts, and they ask that you email them a bank form for the account numbers. Every time so far, the order has been delayed slightly due to the correct person not receiving the form from the info email address they requested the document be sent to. Might be worth investigating a better system to handle this. Other than this, they're a great company and I'll be bringing more business in the future.

I was a former client of an other cheque printing company who had decided to cancel an order we had placed a few days later without even consulting with me or notifying me that something was wrong with the order. What makes Asap Cheques great is their simplicity ( of the web ordering process) and their customer service. As a business, Kingston Coffee House has been with them since day 1( or right after running out of our starter banking kit) and they have never dropped the ball. Orders that are supposed to take 2 days to get ready get done in 1, pickup or shipping is a breeze and rates are fantastic. Ultimately though its not rates that make customers come back. Someone can offer me half their rates and I wont switch. You guys have made my life and business somewhat tolerable from your end.

I had a really great experience ordering cheques for the first time from a third party cheque provider and I was pleasantly surprised at how fast my order was processed. I sent the order in the morning and my cheques were in the mail in the afternoon and I received them a week later. I got the cheques at a fraction of the cost I would have paid if I had ordered them through my bank. And the cheque I wrote afterwards went through my bank without any issue. I also want to express my appreciation to the customer service staff who were so helpful and pleasant to deal with.

Not a professional service. Sharing my experience here, I did print my cheques in asap. I ordered on 18th Jan and the order is shipped to my address the next day itself. Due to this pandemic situation I got my cheque after 7 days. After receiving the cheque i could see that the Account number itself is printed wrongly. For that even i uploaded my void cheque while ordering. When i contacted the customer care regarding the issue they mentioned that the account number is wrong and they will reorder the cheques again. Since they are in cheque printing these type of mistakes should not happen, overall i am not happy with their service

After learning how much my personal cheques had increased since purchasing through my bank last time, I was determined to get them elsewhere for cheaper. The cheques I received from ASAP are good quality and just as effective as my bank cheques for less than half the price. Delivery was quick, very happy with my decision. My only complaint would be that the cheques are more difficult to separate off cleanly from the booklet, ie the perforations could be deeper. You have to be careful to get a clean edge and not leave part of the cheque back with the pack.
