My boyfriend and I had amazing service from Keeran (or Keiran? unsure of spelling haha sorry!). He helped us out so much, we had a great time. He explained everything in detail and showed us many options for mattresses that would keep us cool throughout the night. Was a little nervous because it was our first time ever purchasing a new mattress, but he made us feel comfortable. Thanks so much!

We decided to order our mattresses from the Fort McMurray store in order to shop local and support our community after the fire. We picked out our replacement mattresses and paid the deposit. We were told to call 2 weeks prior to the date we expected to return home and the order would be filled. Due to some delays this took longer than expected but we finally paid the balance of the order and requested delivery in early October. This is when things went really wrong. First, our original choice of mattress was discontinued. At no point did the sales associate call us to let us know. We could have put the mattresses in storage. The substitute mattress was missing key components and not as comfortable. The sales associate told us to pick out something else on the floor and he would honour the price. After we picked the mattresses, he changed his mind and said he would only offer us an equivalent discount. So the store’s mistake on our order ended up costing us $1300.00 additional! The sales associate did not seem to understand or care why we were upset. The second mistake occurred at delivery. The order was placed incorrectly and we were short a box spring. In order to get the correct box spring, there would be a delay of two weeks and then an additional week for delivery. One kind associate offered to delivery it personally once it arrived so we would not have to wait longer. He also assured us the original associate and manager would call us to see how they could correct the situation. They never called. The third problem occurred when the store called to arrange delivery in a week’s time. There was no record of the associate willing to drop the box spring off to us. The new female associate was very rude on the phone. When I asked to speak to the Manager about the issue, she said there was no manager. We went over to the store to speak to someone and she was the only associate working. She then lied to us telling us the Manager was not in today, yet later she said she spoke with the absent Manager and said we had to call customer service and kept referring to “her Manager” despite telling me earlier in the day that the associates manage themselves. She then rolled her eyes, sighed at us and refused to help us anymore. This type of customer service is appalling and unacceptable. Our community has been through tragedy with the fires, we have personally been traumatized and unable to live in our damaged home for almost 18 months. Then as we start to replace our belongings, we are taken advantage of by a local business and treated rudely in the process. We are looking to Sleep Country to make this right.

We went to numerous stores today to purchase a king mattress (Ashley and the Brick) and didn't even get a "hello" on entering the stores. Went in to Sleep Country and was immediately greeted and helped by Josh who was very knowledgeable about different options. He asked our preferences, how we sleep and gave us many options. We did not feel pressured to buy at all. Would recommend him 100%!!

Went in for a pillow while my sister was getting her eyebrows done. Service was excellent. Fiona was very friendly, knowledgeable about the products, suggested all types and prices. (Not just the most expensive) Fiona managed to be helpful while to me while serving w other groups of guests. I didnt think there was that much knowledge for pillows but I was proven wrong. Ended up going with the lavender infused pillow, which was buy one get one free. I'm very excited to try it out tonight! Thanks for your help Fiona!

This shouldn’t even have one star. I have never experienced a more aggressive, rude and condescending sales person in my life. How dare he have no respect for his customers: the ones he was talking to, and then rudely left them alone to belittle us who walked in, looked around, realized this wasn’t the place for us and as we left insulted our intelligence and when we told him we weren’t interested, he guaranteed us the cheapest / best and reduced price EVER. When we said we wanted to keep our money local, he further threatened us by saying “fine it’s your money”.... Here’s my advice: Shop around people... shop local.... don’t get sucked in by aggressive sales tactics by big chains!!! And especially this particular sales person ...

Oh I don't believe I can find beautiful design and good quality bedroom stuff bed sheets pillow covers and kuch more all new designs and collection good customer service and sales associate who assist you selecting products for your home office gift and other ocational events all are affordable price and packages . Free parking handicap parking and handicap entrance.

I've never met a more aggressive and unprofessional salesmen until I spoke to the man in the shiny blue suit at sleep country canada on Lakeshore dr. in North Bay ontario on Wednesday, January 29th, 2020. I had been shopping around different mattress stores on wednesday when I made my last stop of the day to sleep country. I took a quick look around while the man in the shiny blue suit juggled a couple of other customers with their respected parties in tow. It only took me a minute before I decided that I wouldnt find anything better at sleep country than I had already found at a local mom and pop sleep centre in town so I turned around and started heading out. On our way out the door the man in the shiny blue suit interrupted his juggling performance with his other customers to yell out to my mother and I that we weren't done there just yet, and not to leave as we clearly hadnt had the opportunity for him to try to make a dollar off of us. We politely informed him that we were okay, as we had found a great deal elsewhere. Shiny blue suit man didnt take kindly to our independence in mattress shopping and belittled our lack of knowledge as he knew for a fact that we could not have possibly found a better quality bed for a lesser price anywhere else as that's where his specific expertise lies. He neurotically pointed to a ladies picture on the wall with a quote, and referenced some important sleep country womans promise to the world. We informed him, yet again, that we were okay and opened the door to leave. Shiny blue suit man audibly huffed, and in a white man's last ditch attempt at making a couple of women doubt themselves replied "yeah well it's your money". So this ones for you shiny blue suit man. It is my money. And I am proud to know that none of it is going towards your commission for the month. My money went to a lovely gentleman at a local shop in town who was kind, patient, and most importantly; respectful. I didnt feel pressured to be in his store, nor did I feel pressured to open my cheque book and spend my money there. I did so because I wanted to, and to me, that's the deal of a century

Didn't suggest mattress cover which is obviously needed for this Dormeo mattress, paid over $100 for one fitted sheet they make specifically for this one that was so fragile it didnt last a month but ripped easily while on the bed so replaced it only for it to happen again and now can't find a replacement for the top split mattress we bought. I regret buying this bed. The mattress has already become too soft on my side and I just dont have anything good to say at this point. Was great the first couple of months but for the price we paid all these things that have happened should of been explained to us, we should have been warned about care and potential problems. I love the size and that's about all. Now I'm back to not being able to sleep at night again.poor design. Also, if I knew I had to leave my bed unmade every morning to "air it out" I may of had something to say about that. Who wants an unmade base all the time? Even when I do my side of the bed is now not as firm as my husband's side so I end up kind of rolling to the soft spot. Overall I'm really not happy and what will I be able to do about it now that it's 2 years old and seems like it's 10 years old or more. This is an expensive bed that at first we were quite happy to pay for peace of mind of me finally being able to sleep comfortably, very disappointed and a bit angry.

I normally do not put google reviews but i was really impressed with Amit's customer service from the point we walked in to sleep country till the time we got our mattress delivered .Everything was flawless both me and my husband were really impressed by his customer service not just at the time of sale but even after the sale . He was also updating on our order arrival time and was able to find us really good mattress for even cheaper then we expected to pay . I had a way better experience then all the other furniture and mattress stores in town everything arrived on time just perfect. Thanks Amit for your help.

Went to Sleep country with my grandparent's they bought a king split bed for $7000 and they said best price garunteed...Later found out Leons and Manchesters had the same beds cheaper by over a thousand dollars. Not very impressed.

We have been to sleep country 3 times in the last month. We first went in for pillows, the gentleman was very helpful and we got our pillows at a great price. We then needed a mattress for our little guy, we went in, the same guy remembered us, and helped us out, and we got exactly what we wanted, again at a great price. Then we needed a mattress for our oldest son, again the same guy was there, even unlocked the door when we were a few minutes past closing, and sold us the mattress. Will definitely be shopping here whenever we can

Honestly, this is my first time writing a review ever. I went into the store picked out the mattress i wanted. (reclining split mattress) she said it doesn't come with a box spring so me not knowing how these mattresses work at the time said ok.. how much for a box spring and she said she could give me one for $100.00 price is usually $160.00. I thought the reclining part was built into the mattress, and no one informed me otherwise. So we go ahead with ordering my split mattress and box spring, surprised its so cheap but hey im pumped. Fast forward 2 weeks and it gets delivered... regular box spring and mattress. So i call and she's surprised she ordered the wrong bed doesn't know what happened..and i also said the box spring is fine and somehow she decides to bring up "oh i thought it was a little weird that you were buying a split mattress and maybe plans in the future to buy the reclining part" Umm no when you offered me a box spring you said NOTHING about a reclining one. So huge mess up from the moment i received help picking out my mattress. Now i have probably the cheapest mattress in the store that doesn't recline and they don't offer refunds only exchange. If i decided to get the reclining part it and proper mattress that she acknowledged i did initially order it would be another 3 weeks. Lack of informing the customer, customer service almost seemed lazy but im also a laid back person. You sold a split mattress to a customer and not inform them of the price of the reclining part and just offer a regular box spring and still mess up the mattress order, but thanks for the 60$ discount on the box spring. If the manager would like to reach out they are more than welcome. A mistake like this can be rectified if they are willing to offer a discount if i decide i don't like this mattress i wound up with and want a exchange. I will even delete this review, but right now im beyond disappointed.

She helped me and my gf find the perfect mattress, I also came in another day when I was having issues with flexiti to finance the mattress and she took the time to call them and walk me through what was going on. I love my bed! I have enjoyed it even more because of being quarantined with 'the virus'...when I it was delivered, the 2 young men who came to set it up for me, were wonderful, very pleasant, worked fast, and were obviously having fun and laughed a lot. They wore booties as soon as they entered the house, and were concerned about keeping things clean. They helped me with the mattress cover to put on (its like an envelope not a sheet), and made sure to ask multiple times, if there was anything else they could help me with because they were more than willing to help me out! The staff at the store were wonderful too, pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable and knew exactly what I needed in my price range (pensioner so have to make my money go as far as possible and spend it wisely.) and knew their stock well. I have used Sleep Country before and its the first place I go to if I need a new comfortable bed! I would highly recommend going to Sleep Country!

Our experience was nothing short of amazing. Our salesman Brent was so helpful. We had to purchase a bed under an insurance company due to a hit and run. Brent was amazing in directing us in the maze of mattresses and pillows. We would never go anywhere else but Sleep Country. If you go into the store as for Brent. You will never regret it.

Where to begin? Well. I ordered a mattress and boxspring in August of 2016, which was sent to me with a double mattress and single box spring. Clearly not how that works. The replacement was then sent to the wrong city, and it was over two weeks between getting my mattress and the box spring. And now less than two years later half of the springs have collapsed leaving a me-sized cavern in the mattress, not as if I'm overweight. I'm 160lbs. This apparently isn't covered by warranty. I could continue with this nightmare of a tale, but instead I'm going to go buy a new mattress from ANYWHERE else.
