Terrible customer service! I asked if I could return an item that was bought as a gift but was no longer wanted. It didn’t say final sale on my receipt but according to a sales associate I couldn’t return it, when I asked to speak to the manager, with attitude she handed off the phone to the manager and said “she wants to talk to the manager, have fun”. Awful customer service! I will NEVER shop at the Fort Mcmurray location again!

I love to reserve my new release games here. Very friendly and helpful staff. It’s also a great place to find hard to get items! They can search for out of production used games and consoles. They were also able to help me find merch that had recently gone out of stock online, and had it shipped to my branch for free! Also a great place for good deals, I got a $70 nendoroid for $5!

recently started visiting this location again, used to avoid it due to products being scattered all over the place but ive gotta give it to the staff, the shop is very organized and full. One employee Jenny always greets me with a smile even if shes in the middle of something she'll drop it and help me out. Will be back for sure ????

I came into the store today and the people behind the desk were super friendly and were talking about different games I would be interested in. The girl even told me to have fun when I was leaving even though she was helping someone else on the phone when I said goodbye. They really went above and beyond.

Anyone remeber when this place had a wide selection of games? Last time I was there over half the store was taken up by a variety of stuff that I guess would be considered game related. And thumbs down on the constant attempts to upsell.

Staff very rude, puts preorders out for general sale before contacting the customer who paid for them, product absolutely everywhere on the shop floor creating many tripping hazards. Walmart or The Source are better places to shop.

I went there to buy a ps vita, I asked for a refurbished one and a guy said he couldn't find it out back. Then I asked for a new one instead and a girl goes back to look for it then says they don't have any. The guy said the computer shows there are some there. Then she says "I saw a couple boxes but I can't really reach them. They're probably not in the box anyway. Sorry." What a freaking joke! I can't believe this store is still running.

Recently moved to Fort McMurray and just casually stroll into the store downtown and had no idea what I was in for.. That store is the dustiest, cluttered, horribly merchandised location I've ever seen. It looks like it's straight out of 1990 and the people there could care less what you're looking for they're just there for a pay check. Manager talks to everyone like idiots, and that's when they're even speaking at all.. It might be dead quiet with some serious tension in the air.. That could also be the dust and mildew in the walls, who knows. AWFUL store for the usual EB standards.

Took a used game off the shelf and tried to buy it only to be told that they didn't have a used one only a new one. (It clearly had the yellow "Playd" sticker on it) They wouldn't honor the advertised price on the shelf. Walked out with nothing

Came in for a pre-order and because they didn't know the title was told I should've ordered online. Kept being called "Sweetie" by a salesperson half my age and had to constantly watch out for merchandise that was left piled on the ground.

I've been at this locations several times; bought my 3ds, xbox 360 and a lot of other stuff. The staff have always been very helpful and have answered my questions to my satisfaction every time. One reviewer said "staff like to talk to customers about irrelevant topics at length". I think maybe they are describing one of reasons why this location has awesome service? I would rather be at a store where the staff are sociable, rather than try to rush me out the door. On the downside, it suffers from a lack of space. There tends to be long lineups there sometimes and there is not a lot of room to move around because the store is small and there are a lot of product. Overall, it's definitely one of the better EB games outlets I've been to.

Place is an absolute pigsty. I swear I saw a rat crushed underneath one of the dozens of stacks of product sitting on the dirty floor. There was a line up to the back of the store - I had to jump and duck around stacks of product to get to the back of the line. Once at the back of the line I waited. And waited. Approximately 1 hour later I finally reach the front of the line. (The cashiers really enjoy talking to customers about completely irrelevant topics for extended periods of time.) Of course, they did not have the game I called about 2 hours earlier. I left the store unsatisfied, as usual. It took 2 cycles through the wash to get the disgusting smell of that store off my clothes. Save yourself the headache, go to Wal-mart.

Store is a complete mess! Employees can't find games through the stacks all over the counters and floors. Turnover rate is extremely high (even for Fort McMurray) so most of the staff has NO idea what they're doing. They frequently oversell on pre-orders leading to unsatisfied customers who simply don't get the product they wanted. I'm honestly baffled that this store is still open, somehow. It's been going downhill rapidly for the past 3 years I've lived here - it's scary to think that this isn't the bottom of that hill. How much worse can it get? Just shut it down already!!! :/
