Did appreciate them getting my vehicle in on short notice but they seemed to have issues with ordering the right part so the day it was supposed to be done it did not get done until 3 days later... not a good situation when you have to commute for work. They fixed the issue but didnt properly put the wiper back on so during my travels the wiper broke.....

The service staff was friendly, but I've bought 3 brand new vehicles from them and next time I will go shop somewhere else. Wanted certain things added and was told nope that costs extra, like command start for my wifes car, heated seats for my truck, little things but they wouldn't add them on.
The communication with us about the repair and the repair itself were both very good from both sales and service.
I work here and get work done here and both are excellent experiences!

It's ok. Wish they had more time for us.. UPDATED!!! 2020- We called and asked to speak with the oldest salesperson there. We were connected with Bob who provided us with great service and we were treated very respectfully. No pressure, no promises. I bought my dream truck and am really pleased with it. DOWNSIDE: I was warned that the finance person was going to try UPSELL me on warranty. Which did happen. I threatened to walk out and not go through with the deal if she persisted. She stopped and I signed the paper as agreed to by me and Bob. OVERALL: If you are looking for a vehicle, ask to speak with " Old Man Bob"

They had the vehicle inside within 5 minutes of my arrival. They replaced the required part and identified and resolved a related problem as well. The bill was higher than I expected but it was due to a rather pricey part. I would definitely use their services again.
Customer service is never great and they always try and avoid problems passing you off person to person. Had issues with my car immediately after a service on more than one occasion. Not a mistake very intentionally picked your dealership as it was where I took my car. But thanks for replying.

I recently purchased a 2017 Ford F250 superduty and imported it to Minnesota. I had been looking for a late model pickup truck with a 3/4 ton preference for about a month. I am very happy with the vehicle they found for me as it was more than I expected at a reasonable price. They overnighted a part to correct an open recall and replaced my chrome rims under warranty. They only needed a couple days to get it all done when other dealerships take weeks to get parts in. The vehicle was shining like new when I picked it up and all the paperwork was ready for exporting to the US. The exportation was effortless and without delay. I would not hesitate to purchase another vehicle from Sunset Country Ford. The entire staff from the salesman to the service center are courteous, knowledgeable and customer focused. I would recommend Sunset Country Ford as a top choice when looking for a new or used vehicle. I just bought a second vehicle from Beyak Automotive Group in March 2021. The no contact service was excellent. The 2016 edge was better than advertised and all the documentation was in order for export. Very nice working with Amber and John.

Recently had my 2014 Explorer in for recall work. Was told it would take two hours...received two phone calls saying the vehicle was not yet ready. Final call said they would be keeping vehicle overnight and completing work in the morning...and of course, no loaner vehicle available. Very inconvenient all around.
Superb sales and support. Special thanks to Paul and the team over there. Sunset tracked down the exact truck we wanted and had it here within 4 days from a different province. They literally took care of everything we needed and was ready to go. Had rims and tires done a month later with a lift kit. Even adjusted the headlights due to the the offset. Gave us an excellent trade in value on our old truck so there is not much more a person can for.

From the start the sales team took the time to find out exactly what I was looking for and helped me find my truck. The salesman I dealt with was straightforward and to the point when it came to practicality and all the extra options and that made the decision making process very easy. Great communication with sales and financing as I was out of town in the days leading up to completing the deal. They did the legwork with minimal input on my end. Very thorough run through of the truck’s systems before I left the lot. It’s a great truck and I felt informed and in control from start to finish.

When I bought the truck I was told by salesperson that Sunset washes the vehicle at every service as a courtesy, two services both times I asked about the wash, both times they were busy, no wash!! It's a funny experience, I was searching for a vehicle on-line. I found it 1700 km away. I called and spoke to Bob Staurt a couple of times, a very easy to talk to and knowledgeable sales person. I bought the vehicle. Arrangements were made and the vehicle was shipped to me. Bob said that I would not be disappointed with the vehicle. I received the vehicle and was very happy with my purchase, it was totally detailed and had a full tank of gas. I have never bought a vehicle on-line, especially without seeing it in person and test driving it. Thank you Bob and Amber.????

Wish could no stars !Very disappointed with service! customer calls a month later after being told would do follow up call to tell when ready to be serviced . This was not a warranty matter. The store argued with customer that the problem was warranty and delays in their arrival of the parts . The problem is the store failed to take the time out to listen to customer and see it wasn't a warranty job and could be done with a few business days. Just upset that every time attempt to call to ask about service or the countless recalls the store becomes defensive and refuses to listen to the customer but use excuses and blame ford for not sending the parts to help their customers . I will never buy another vehicle from this store and from ford from simply how they treat their customers . Please ford read this and listen to your customers there are more of us and finally put how upset I am with buying a ford !

Thanks for making us pay over 100 bucks to wash the rims before letting a guy know you're going to do it. Yes it was in before because the vehicle was shaking to the questionable point of is this even safe and we should stop in and see what they might think it is cause we're on our biweekly town trip... conveniently washed it for free the first time, thank you for that. Back in for a recall and the same issue was MENTIONED, not asked to diagnose. Common courtesy to mention something simple to a young couple that would be more than happy to save around 110$ at a car wash or at home with a pressure washer to fix the very simple issue that was unkown going to be a reoccurring issue. I would have even washed it and gladly brought it back to pay for a service if the issue was still there. 3 vehicles purchased from there and that will be the last from me. Stereotypical dealership stuff right there

In the summer of 2013 we bought a new F150 FX4 Eco boost. Beautiful truck and we love it. A little while after we bought it my husband was noticing the truck was shifting way too much when driving it. There was also a clunking noise from the drivers side. We brought it to Sunset Country Ford and told them what was happening. They looked it over and couldn't find anything. I actually took an employee for a ride and he heard it as well. They changed the timing chain at about 80,000 km. The truck continued to act up. Over time the truck was losing power and shifting excessively. I called to book an appointment telling the, that my husband believed the turbo was gone. When I took it in I barely got to the lot. I had to drive 20-30 km/hr. The girl at the service desk called me and said the amount of work that needs to be done on the truck was a lot more than we thought. I asked her at that time what she would suggest. She said "I would buy a new one". I asked her to do up a quote and she said she would but it will be very expensive. Both turbos are gone, it needs a new motor and the catilac converter was plugged. I told her I wanted a quote. She called me the next day and said it would cost between $23,000 and $25,000 to fix and may be a bit more. I asked her if they were willing to do something to help us with it somehow. She said she would find out. We heard absolutely nothing from them. No call to my husband to talk about the situation. Not a word. My husband went there to pay the $600.00 bill just for the diagnosis and to talk to someone. There was no one available to talk to him. I called to ask for a copy of every thing done or repaired on the truck since we bought it. I waited about 5 days and had to call back to remind them. Still no word from them. It was like if we ignore the situation it will go a way. Ny husband has always owned a Ford and has always bought them from Sunset Country Ford and the dealership before that. I called Ford Canada and they said sorry ma'am your warranty is up. So our 4 year old $50,000 truck is going to cost us half of that to repair it. That is horrible customer service from both places. Excellent took my Edge in for multifunction wiper changeout since my other one wipers would stay on,work was done on the amount of time was said and they even topped up my low tires since gauge was on.. thankyou . Just took back my Edge and got new tires and wheel alignment done. Very great riding tires and the price I got them for was a Great deal ! No complaints . They even supplied me with a loaner vehicle since I had classes to go to, no worries. Awesome staff and efficient!

Was turned off a few years back during a vehicle purchase and also had some terrible service dealing with a body repair. Went to Dingwall after that. But seems Sunset has been improving as of late and seem more on the ball with the dealership overall. Most of the service staff are helpful but one advisor in particular has been excellent to deal with so might give them another chance when it's time for a new vehicle.

I took my Ford Edge in to have the air conditioner file updated since the right side was blowing hot air. The file was uploaded for $55. I asked if it was fixed and working. I was told I would need to make another apt for that since the apt was only to update the file. Thankfully it was fixed when I checked it.
