I am aware that I'm not the first to complain about downtown service but on Valentine's day i drove through drive-in and my double-double didn't taste like it and asked to go park at waiting line and waited a few seconds- wow parked my truck and waiting for my turn to exit safely. This has to change not happy customer.

There's only a handful of McDonalds in town, and this is the probably the most inconvenient one only because of the shared parking lot with all the other businesses around. It's hard to get a parking spot. It's also fairly busy, being the only fast food restaurant in the area. There's a double size drive through which is pretty fast, so I recommend using that and avoiding the inside. Not to say the inside isn't nice. It has been recently renovated and looks great, and is comfortable.

I wish there was a 0 star rating option. I go to this McDonald’s fairly often, mainly because I live downtown and don’t wait to drive up to thickwood or gregoire just for McDonalds. The people at the window is VERY rude. No hellos, just hands you the debit machine, gets your payment and slams the window. Then the ones at the next window, don’t speak when handing your food, they don’t even let you know that’s all of the food before they close the window, you have to look in yourself bag to make sure. Even when no one is hardly in the drive through, we are still told to go wait in reserved, it’s like they are in slow motion. And the amount of times my order was messed up is beyond me. This place definitely needs change, BIG BIG change. Mostly starting with the employees.

The food here is classic Mcdoanlds. It’s the same you would find anywhere else. The bathrooms are clean and the staff are friendly. They do have some areas where you can relax and watch tv while you enjoy a hot beverage which is nice. You also aren’t as prone to being harassed by the homeless population for change as can be a common issue in the downtown district. There is no play facilities for children which is too bad but all in all a decent place to stop.

Horrible location and even worse service. Drive thru is a mess, you can order a coffee and they will ask you to wait in the parking lot for 20 minutes. Mobile order isn't any faster, 40 min wait and still no sight of an employee- you can got in and they will claim you never ordered. More often than not of your food is on time they have completely disregarded what you asked for and you have to come back to get it fixed. Save your time and head to Thickwood or Gregoire- they will get it right the first time and can smile at customers.

The lady in the kitchen by the fry station was extremely rude. I tried to use my free coffee coupon and was charged for 1 of my coffees. When I brought it to the cashiers attention, she went to the lady by the fry station where she was told to just give me back my card. Which was not what I wanted when I first made the order but feeling bad for the younge girl working cash. I just took the card back. This supervisor clearly does not enjoy her job and wants to create the worst atmosphere for customers. I waited 25 min for 2 coffees and 2 muffins. Only to have 1 coffee arrive without the sugar I had asked for. Then I when I approached the counter to inform them I needed sugar and there wasn't any at the drink station . The large lady by the fry station sent the girl packing orders to the drink station (i still have no sugar for my coffee) to check if I actually looked. I also heard them tell the customer in front of me if they required a bag for their meal it was 15 cents. With debit these days who carries change? Total waiting time to get my coffe right was 35 minutes. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS McDONALDS AGAIN.

If you want decent service, choose a different restaurant. This location rarely fulfils your orders correctly and your meals are always made poorly and delay you by a long amount of time. This is especially at the drive thru. A handful of staff may be decent but the rest are poorly trained and do not deserve to work there. Planning is also done unprofessionally. For example, the newest drive thru pickup location is RIGHT in front of the drive thru exit, so it will be common to get flipped off by drivers that have to go around you instead of straight through the exit when you have to wait there. All in all, this is a very unorganized location. Do not go here.

A quick and convenient place to grab breakfast when I'm in Fort Mac for work. They have the self serve order kiosks at this location, but I am very happy that someone will always come over to the till when I approach it. Please keep that up! The place is clean, and I never have trouble finding a table. The food is served up quickly, and it is usually hot and fresh. The coffee is always hot and fresh. One thing that rubs me the wrong way though, is the continuous loud beeping from the kitchen. It never stops, and I don't understand how the staff can stand it.

Customer service is horrible, the kitchen staff can’t get an order correct. I went through the drivethru on June 6, 2018, asked for the specialty sandwich they had available on their menu. It came without the coleslaw as advertised, it wasn’t advised they didn’t have any. I also ordered a QP BLT with no chicken sauce (mayo), and of course there was mayo. I called in as soon as I got home and left a voicemail. As I did not receive a call back, I called and left another voicemail on June 8, 2018, a couple days later I finally got in touch with someone after a third attempt of calling. I was referred to the guest experience manager in Gregoire, as she overseas all restaurants in Fort McMurray, and she was going to send out some coupons to replace my meal. After a month of waiting I called back on July 3 and was advised that she would reach out to me once again, but she never did. After calling back today they said it was an oversight and she forgot to mail them. Now I have to wait another undisclosed amount of time and they might come. No option to go get them in person. Terrible service.

Worst McDonald's I have ever been too. Doors were locked so no one could enter. No one would talk to us when we came in and stood in line at the tills. Staff all just chatted together in the back and ignored us when we tried asking for help. Place was dirty and unorganized. Saw them messing up multiple orders in the back, even though it was quiet. Will never go back here again.

March 11: Mcflurry m&m wasn't mixed. March 12: Ordered 5 coffees which they actually pulled off, but our order consisting of four #10s and a BLT bagel with extra mayo. Paid close to 50$, when we received our order. 2 #10's, BLT bagel with no mayo. Overall their performance is sub par and it shows.

67 cent hamburger day was very busy with many cars in the drive thru. Too bad they did not advertise 3 hamburger max...... (and there were many radio and poster ads) Many cars turning around and trying to leave. Others had to re think order. Had I known about the max I would not have tried the long line when I pulled in.. Horrible attitude from drive thru servers, who forced me to " park and wait" for a 1/4 pounder combo. 25 minutes of my life wasted to pay triple for half what I wanted.

The screen I ordered from was very polite and allowed me the time to stand and decide what I wanted, as I was feeling quite indecisive that morning. The food took a good 10 minutes to be prepared, as I was not the only patron at this time. But by my eye, McMuffin's were being constantly thrown together. The staff was in constant motion. I had no complaints. The food when it did arrive: it was freshly made, right from the grill / deep fry. I had two hashbrowns and a McGriddle that were out of this world. Would do it all again.

This place is less than impressive. Not only do you have to wait 10 minutes to get a coffee when there are no other orders on the screen but you get harassed for spare change while standing there waiting

They refurbished the interior after the fort mac fire so it looks as nice as the timberlea. Drive thru has been improved. Unfortunately it seems there's more homeless/drunk people in here than any other MacDonald's in fort Mac. Not a good spot for kids in my opinion.

This site keeps messaging up my orders. Ask for a bacon and egg mcmuffin, and you might get a sausage, or an egg mcmuffin. Check it before driving away!

Pretty good McDonald's, I go at least 3 times a month for breakfast and they almost always get my order right. English muffin is tosasted just right, and is fresh, hash brown typically fresh and crispy. Coffee as always is very good for a chain restaurant, but not up to a specialty coffee standards, but nobody expects that.

This is an excellent location. Orders are always right and you rarely recieve fries that aren't freshly made. Drive thru is open 24/7 and they even allow you to just walk up to the window if you don't have a vehicle. The self serve ordering computers are easy to use and allow you to customize your order with ease. The restaurant itself is always very clean and the employees are polite. It's a nice place to just drink some coffee and get some free wifi. Compared to other McDonald's in fort McMurray this one is the best.

Asked politely for my refill cup and was told that the people behind me had to place their orders first. I was first in the line up....not my fault if others had to wait...I had already been waiting for service. Maybe short staffed but first come, first serve, and then move on to the next in line....Was it my backpack? Are others treated the same way?

First off someone hit my car in the parking lot and only gave me $100 to repair the damage. Then as i was waiting for my food there was a homeless lady harassing me to give her money and food which caused me to not enjoy my time in the facility. Not the best experience.

Worst McDonald's . Ordered a mcchicken and gave me a jr chicken patty in a mcchicken bun .took 20 minutes to get the food by some kid who didn't know what he was doing or how to work the till .Manager needs to train better. Worst McDonald's I've ever been to. But I should have known better, it's flinflon.

I have never seen a more unorganized and downright disappointing McDonald's. They were closed by 9:30pm and went back in the morning these guys don't serve food until 8am?? So we just got a coffee instead and it honestly tasted like the worker used the dishwater to make it, drive to Creighton Tim Hortons. Or honestly just starving is a better option don't even waste the 30mins in the drive through. Pathetic.

Slow. And food looked like what you would expect from a kitchen that handles the burgers like they are making a snowball. For real please train your staff on speed and how to make a good burger without sauce getting on the top of the bun. Also say if you get mayo added to a burger they are supposed to put it on the bottom bun. I was a crew Trainer for 3 years and can say this was the worst experience I've had at McDonald's

Worst McDonald's ever! Very dirty...no clean tables. ..no napkins etc. Order was wrong and cold! Excessively long wait...nobody attending to customers in line. December 10, 2021 Time: 5:52pm I sent my Mobile Order for 3 Happy Meals. We’ve called first as we waited for 20 minutes on the Curbside and the person said, they’ll send my orders soon. I’ve decided to go inside McDonald’s after another 10 minutes from waiting and asked what happened to my order. They asked me if it’s a Mobile Order and asked for my Receipt. I showed them my Receipt from the email. They never made my order yet. When the person gave me the boxes, I told him I want to make sure everything in the order is put in the box before I come back, unfortunately the fries are NOT in there! Omg, I had to wait for another 5 minutes! So, from ordering on their App, it took for 35 minutes to make and what a poor customer service they have! Sorry, but it’s disappointing! I hope you’ll improve your service. What a sad and bad experience! Smh…

McDonald's over Alberta has just lost standards over the years this one is second best in town but still not to standards. Management needs to be replaced with someone who thrives to be a team leader, keep the times on the screens low and prepare food with care along with teaching of proper food standards for serving for the franchise.

If I could rate negative a stars I would. Terrible drive thru service. Last three times I've been through there, all the wait times were 25 minutes plus. Definitely all the workers need more training along with new management. I feel sorry for the owner who owns it.

Finally had the create your own burger. Did not know they had table service for delivery on this option, even the pop! Burger was excellent and the mushrooms added were awesome. Garden salad tasted very good and there was plenty of dressing that you could add to your taste. I'll definitely try this again.

I used to work at a Mcdonalds many years ago and everything was based around QSC (Quality / service / cleanliness) this place fails at all three. Quality - The food here is hit or miss. sometimes the food is made well other times it's like they just dumped the ingredients in the box and said good enough. Service - Horrible. just order from the kiosk there is never anyone working the tills. Takes way to long to get your order, if it's under 10 min your lucky. There are times I've seen a dozen people waiting for their orders and the staff is nowhere to be seen. Cleanliness - The lobby is a mess always, the drink station in particular is disgusting and the garbage's are always overflowing. The only time I see anyone clean the lobby is when a customer can flag down an employee and ask for a rag to clean the tables. I did see someone mop part of the floor once. If that's how they present the part of the restaurant that the customers sees then I can't imagine how disgusting the kitchen and food storage areas are. This restaurant is only a year old and its already gone to hell. The food is mediocre and the staff is apathetic. Managers don't seem to exist either. Combine all that with the ridicules prices they charge It's a wonder why people keep coming back here.
