This summer we hired Neighbourhood Landscaping to build us a parking pad. As we have little experience in construction we were relying on their expertise and we were not disappointed. Darko and his team were reliable, timely and efficient with their work. As you can see by the photo's, we received exactly what we were looking for and then some. After the install we hired NL for continued maintenance and were impressed that they offered environmentally friendly efforts. This included using only electric batter powered equipment. Meaning, no emissions or use of gases and operates with little noise - surely our neighbours appreciated as well. We highly recommend working with Neighbourhood Landscape as you will receive top notch customer service and brilliant results.

While the crew did a pretty good job on the spring cleanup at my house, they didn't remove a shrub that was part of our deal. I chalked this up to miscommunication, paid in full and told the person I was dealing with (Darko) about the oversight. He assured me they would come back. I told them they forgot a shovel at my place and they came back right away to pick it up but said they couldn't remove the shrub at that time. Darko has since ignored all of my messages. Managed to remove the shrub myself, but was really frustrated with being treated this way.

I hired Neighbourhood Landscaping after moving into my new home last March. I found that there was so much to do in my gardens after the last home owners abandoned it. I called Neighbourhood Landscaping just to help me with the gardens, and they came by to do what they called a "One-Time Spring Cleanup". I was so impressed that Darko came by in person to set up the details of what I requested, ironing out everything. A group of 4 employees came the week that followed. They were really courteous, and didn't mind answering any of my questions! They really knew their stuff! My house looked beautiful after, and since that day I've had NL Inc come by for everything. I have them for a full year; Grass and gardens in the summer and snow removal in the winter. I took a chance with a neighbourhood independant business for my first time paying someone to do a spring yard cleaning. Darko called and helped make the arrangements, and seemed quite accommodating. Unfortunately, the information exchanged to set up the service was not conveyed to the guys on site and the amount of time (and cost) was a complete surprise. Also, not all the projects discussed on the call were addressed. To be fair, the onsite crew did a good job, worked hard, and seemed super nice... but more effort to ensure customers know what the bill will be AHEAD of the service is needed. Meeting them halfway to accept ownership of poor communication would also have been appreciated. Bottom line - I recommend anyone considering this business to make sure to get a maximum cost and exact services agreed to in advance.

They called their boss and he was more than willing for them to come over and squeeze me into their busy day! You guys saved my BBQ party! Since then I have been with them, and they have been great. They are a good hard working company that ensures the quality of their work done. Their employees are very polite and know what to accomplish at my property, from looking out to my in ground sprinklers that stick out of the lawn, to keeping grass off the walkway and debris off my lawn. Also if it rains the day of your scheduled visit, they arrive a day early or a day later, which pleased me very much. As well they noticed I needed my eaves-troughs clean, which haven't been done in years, I am really happy with this company as it cares for my property.
