Helpful staff. We were looking for herbs and they had the best selection we've seen so far this season (it's April) They saw us looking at the herbs and let us know that a bigger supply of herbs (and veggies) were expected in early May, when the weather is a bit warmer. We purchased several small pots. They were $3.99 each. There were other plants and shrubs for sale. This is an outdoor centre with an indoor space for houseplants (very healthy looking!) and accessories (pots, plant food, iron plant stands, etc.). Parking available. VISA, Debit, Cash. Masks mandatory and hand sanitizer provided.

Amazing service! I was looking for a pot for my outgrown aloe plant. The pot I chose didn’t have drainage holes but the gentleman who was running the garden Center today (he is super knowledgeable and super friendly) drilled some holes in the pot, free of charge. Bought some great quality soil too at very reasonable prices.

I just wanted to note how well this local business is at keeping customers safe- they only allow one customer inside at a time. During my time inside, I didn’t feel rushed at all. I visited just yesterday to find a Birds of Paradise plant- they didn’t have any in stock but I did end up purchasing a Fiddle Leaf plant. The gentleman at cash was very knowledgeable about plant care.

Great plant store. Great prices. Very organized and well kept and happy looking plants. Wide selection of plants and flowers. I found 2 rare plants that I've been looking for for a while. Definitely worth checking out. Any time I'm in the west end, I'll be stopping here

I've bought many plants from here. I don't seem to get really good advice on how to care for them, being an amateur. But, not the reason for 2 stars. I have bought many plants I thought were shade lovers, only to Google and learn they need sunlight. I don't get a lot of direct sunlight indoors. Now, all dead. I should do my own research rather than trust the employees advice. Most recently, I bought a yucca back in May. It did well in indirect light with little watering but then started getting white spots and dropping leaves. I called for advice and was told to bring it by if I need help repotting. I was really happy for this as I want to learn. I brought it by, the employee helped me graciously free of charge. But told me the white spots were 'dust'. It's very obvious fungus of some sort. His friend visiting insisted on helping me put the yucca back in my truck. This is a large plant. I agreed, but when he got to my car, he dumped the entire plant in the ground and ripped the roots out. I was mortified. The employee helped repot the plant again. I asked him if it would survive, he just said 'I don't know'. Didn't offer to reimburse at all. Now the plant is very clearly dead. I'm out $70 and all the fertilizers I purchased. Also, their hours posted do not reflect reality

This place is great - they have a family farm just outside the GTA so you know its fresh! I happened to stop in for some sweet corn and they were SO HELPFUL and friendly. The customer service level they have there is not something you see too often anymore. Very knowledgeable and they had so much fresh produce... I even picked up a beautiful sunflower plant as well. I cant believe I hadn't found this gem earlier.

I went to Down 2 Earth Garden Centre on April 29 th 2021. This was my first time visit. I was un sure if I would buy anything before I showed up, but I got there and was wow I spent 90$ after taxes. The customer service was outstanding. The product and the various verities they had were outstanding and I got there before the received all product for there season. I would recommend this place to any gardener. First time gardener or long term gardener.

Really enjoyed any visit I've had and always left with a plant that I loved. They practice safe procedures during this crazy covid time and only had two people in the whole store when I went.
