For the few days of snow this year, I have not had a good experience. My pathway is yet to be cleared after the heavy snowfall yesterday. I made a long trench this morning to get us out this morning and the place is yet to be cleared. No response to phone calls

Clear my snow rates 0 on my scale. 0 for bad customer service - especially a lady called Sierra! 0 for no follow up 0 for a bad job in clearing my driveway 0 for not responding to repeated alerts to fully clear my driveway even after they are told that it hasn't been done They have fancy contracts to show professionalism. But they are anything but professional. I called them this morning for the 4th time since the snowfall began, letting them know that it is the 4th time I have had to call them about my driveway not being cleared & the only response they had was this "you can continue threatening us". DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVEN IF YOUR LIFE DEPENDED ON IT!

My landlord has hired these guys for about 3 years now and the service sucks! On Tuesday dec 12 2017 it snowed in the south Etobicoke area leaving 3” of snow in my driveway it is now dec 17th and I now have a sheet of ice on my driveway! This happens every year! I would NEVER recommend this company!

BAD SERVICE! Missed my morning appointments and my kid missed school because they couldn’t come early morning to remove 15cm of snow out of my driveway. It’s 3pm and there still not here.

I didn't have any issues with their service. They can't be at every home at the same time at the first sight of snow, especially during a big storm. The office people I dealt with were quick to respond and the snow removal was professional and well done. I will be signing up again this year and have recommended them to others.

Signed up for their service the first time and I can say their service is quite poor. I am not a crazy picky person and do not expect perfection however I do expect regular clean up and salting since that is what I paid for. We had a major snowfall and no one shows up to clean up. I had to call in to see why the driver never plowed my driveway to which they say they will check and send someone out. Now we just had another major storm that brought freezing rain. My driveway has been an ice rink for 2 days now while my neighbors is clean since he did it himself. I called in and they said they will send someone out, however 6 hours goes by and no one shows up. I called in and they said they could not break the ice so they were waiting for it to melt with warmer weather. Strange especailly since they did not even salt the driveway. I bought salt and did it myself. The most wasted money that I have ever spent.

From January 28 under heavy snow to January 30 evening! I called four times and every time they said they were coming, but no one showed up! The owner, a 60-year-old woman, couldn't shovel, so she paid the company to do it. Finally his son called his friend to shovel the snow! You're useless!

Absolutely terrible experience, don't use them. Hired this service for an elderly couple and they were totally ignored and let down. No response on the phone and no clearing of important pathways.

Clear My Snow gets a 0-rating for its lack of service in a timely fashion, giving me false assurances to get my business and charging me for a service they did not perform. When considering this company I talked with Nancy in the office and expressed my need to be able to exit my driveway 7:30am to get to work. She told me that while they couldn’t guarantee times, with Clear my Snow I would never have to worry about a snow build-up in my driveway. She said that their trucks go out as soon as there is 5cm of snow, cover their routes and keep going until the snow stops and everyone is completely clear. Based on that assurance I hired them. Saturday December 14th we had a major snowstorm. By early afternoon no truck had been by and there was no way I could have left my driveway. I checked their website “update” page and there was a note saying their trucks would *start* going out at 3pm. By that time there was well over 10cm of snow. So much for the assurance of no-snow-build-up and the obviously false claim that they start going out at 5cm! In fact the truck did not come until just before 2pm Sunday. Had the storm occurred Sunday instead of Saturday I would not have made it to work at all on Monday! Meanwhile since I had no idea if or when they were coming, and since Sunday was my only day to run errands, I flagged down a local fellow with a snow tractor and paid him to clear my driveway completely. 2 of my neighbours witnessed him doing so, including hand-shovelling. So when the Clear my Snow Truck came they drove into a cleared driveway. There was nothing to do. Meanwhile I emailed Shannon at the company to let them know they were fired. I also noted that the time-line to clear my driveway was unacceptable; if they can’t clear out customers within a timely fashion they need to hire more drivers or take on fewer employees. Her response was that they would charge me the $50 cancellation fee as per the contract. (1st time I’ve ever heard of a fired-employee taking severance pay! It’s not like I was changing my mind because I found a better deal.) And there would be a charge for one service. I emailed back asking her “what service?!” since the truck did nothing more that come into an already cleared driveway. I never heard back but did get a credit memo for my payment minus the $50 + a service. I should be charging them what I had to pay the other guy! So folks, if you want a company that over-promises, under-delivers and gives you mis-information about their procedures to get your business – then Clear My Snow is the route to go! Otherwise, steer clear of this business!

I have been using this service for 3 years now. Works exactly as advertised. They always return to clean up when requested. In heavy storms service can be slow but I always get notified once they are done.

I have hired Clearmysnow for the 2017/18 and 2018/19 winter season and very happy with their service. This winter the ice accumulated significantly before I was able to sign an ice removal contract, but they worked diligently to clear the ice. I realize they cannot come out immediately after the snow storm because they likely have commercial contracts which require more immediate attention. I would recommend Clearmysnow.

My experience with CMS has been great. They cleared my driveway prior to the commencement of the contract. Also, they cleared the mess left by a city plow after already having plowed my driveway before the city plow came by. There was no extra charges for this work. I’ll certainly use them next year.

I had these guys for the first time this year & must say they done a decent job, I would get them back next year, I don't know why it shows only 3 stars it should be 4

Negative experience. Charged my parents for the full winter season, but rarely came. My Dad ended up shovelling driveway himself most of the time.
