I would like to take the time to thank Scott and his awesome team so much for helping with my grandmas needs. My grandma is 98 and still lives on her own in Saanich. She has no local family as my mother lives in Kelowna and I live in Ontario. I was nervous to hire someone to help with my grandmas gardening and household needs as I was worried that she would be taken advantage of. My first move was to check the Better Business Bureau. The very first landscaping company to show up was Scott’s Landscaping. Right away I sent Scott and email explaining the situation and that I needed to hire someone we could trust. His response was amazing. He replied - “l would love to meet your grandmother! I’m sure she is a wonderful lady with a wealth of knowledge! My own grandma and auntie (sisters) were both 100 and lovely ladies”. I was sold right then and there. He was down to earth and completely understanding of our situation. He came over the following day for a consultation and spent over an hour of his own time chatting and discussing my grandmas needs with her! He was patient and kind and did not rush her at all. He genuinely wanted to help her. He was amazing right from the start and I trusted him instantly. The following week his crew was over to tackle the many gardening / lawn / overgrowth needs. I also asked if they could remove the moss from my grandmas roof and driveway. They scraped and power washed every inch of moss!! They took all of her lawn clippings and shrubbery and even surprised her by replacing her prized hydrangea that had been eaten by deer. They cleaned all of her gardens up, trimmed everything, de mossed, removed all the compost and trash AND even washed all of her windows!!!! WE WERE BLOWN AWAY!!!!! Scott and his team went OVER AND ABOVE. They were kind and spent more time with my grandma than any other contractor ever had! It was like they were family!! I mentioned to Scott that my grandmas toilet was running. He arranged for that to be repaired and saved my gramma a ton on water waste!! I also mentioned that her chimney needed to be cleaned and her furnace needed to serviced. HE ARRANGED EVERYTHING. They even cleaned her ducts!! My grandma was more than impressed. Her front steps we crumbling, guess who came to the rescue and had them repaired? Scott!! So, my review on Scott’s Landscaping is 150% amazing. They come and cut her lawn regularly and check in on her. I understand that any landscaping company can cut a lawn, the difference with Scott and his crew is that they actually care. Scott personally brought her invoice over and sat at her table with her and explained everything and reiterated what they had done. She was very, very happy and it felt like Scott was family sitting with her at her table. I recommend Scott to anyone who wants not only an awesome job done at a good price and timely manner, but also anyone who wants to feel heard and respected and not taken advantage of.
