I was a little concerned because Cal’s was quite a bit lower in cost than my usual florist. However, happy to say that the flowers were delivered in a very timely manner and the bouquet and vase were beautiful! I will contact Cal’s the next time I send flowers to my grandma.

I had an account for years, and I never felt like a priority as a customer. Their staff were usually fairly quick to try and rush/end our conversation when I was trying to get the right product which did make a huge difference. Some products are way more than others so getting the best price is important. On multiple occasions I found better prices than any of what they recommended, and twice I asked for materials in advance and then found out they had non in stock when I arrived. This on one occasion costed me 2000 dollars as my job was locked on and had to be done. I came in for the last time to bring in all my pallets and I then had someone with great customer service work with me. Which is unfortunate because it was a little too late.

If I could rate this 6 of 5 stars, I would. As a professional landscaper in Edmonton, I found it frustrating doing business with the local landscape suppliers. For years, I couldn't find a consistent supplier with a wide enough selection of quality materials to cover the entirety of the job at hand. Whitemud Landscape Centre is it; they have everything you need for hardscapes and ground cover. They offer the best of the best, along with incredibly competitive pricing as well as incentives for returning companies and customers. The customer service had/has me coming back again and again, as they never disappoint! If you need edging for brick, shovels, tampers...even tires(I was just as surprised!), this is THE place to go. You won't be disappointed.

Every single time I went, the front staff and the guys in the rock yard have been awesome. The staff in the office are knowledgeable and patient. They answer my questions in detail. Big shout out to Danny for helping me out so often and being so nice. Really impressed with how friendly and nice everyone is. The guys in the yard are really professional and efficient. As soon as they see a customer, they go over and fill their order. When there is a lineup, they make sure everyone is taken care of in a timely manner. We purchased sod at 9:00am and it was to much for one load. They assured us that because we had already paid for it it would be there when we returned. Just before noon we returned for our sod and it had been sold to someone else. The staff did not really seem to care that they had made an error. The only option they had for us to get the sod we had already paid for today was to follow there employee across the city to pick it up from the person they had sold it to. Total this took time out of our day and made us late for appointments with other contractors. How do you sell something twice! Poor management and no communication or customer service. I will never shop here again and offer a warning to anyone who chooses to.

The identical cost at Whitemud was 20% less and my yard of material was considerably more than the competition (a yard is not always a yard). I was impressed with the loader, he ensured my material fit in my small box truck and was ultra careful not to damage my truck. I highly recommend this location ! Good job Whitemud.

Went in looking for 3/4" crushed gravel and advice on how much I would need for 7x7 shed foundation. The two young guys behind the counter couldn't be bothered to give any advice or help. They told me what they could not do and had no solution for me. They gave me the tone that they only sell in large quantities and that I'm a waste of time. The staff was very rude and there attention was not to me the customer. I was the only customer present.

Twice I have gone to Whitemud landscape for supplies and was extremely disappointed. The first time I had rented a trailer and purchased a quantity of soil. Once I was loaded I was not 100% sure but the load did not look like the quantity I ordered, and I questioned them which they replied with a stern no that is the right quantity. Not to my surprise when I placed the dirt I was short. The second time I went with my own trailer which I know 100% how much 4 yds is, as I had purchased it several times at Burnco. I needed approximately 2 1/2 yards to finish a large project, instead of having the same trucking company haul a small load I took my own trailer and purchased 4 yards at Whitemud as it was close but it was close to closing time, when the yard man loaded my trailer he put in four buckets telling me that his bucket was a 1 yard bucket???? not true my trailer was less than half full. I questioned the quantity they told me it was 4 yards and they would not do nothing about it, I tried to go into the office it was 5:03 they had locked the door and I couldn’t get in. I left very disappointed but took the load to the job to finish, as I thought I would be, I was short and had to return the next day to finish. Never again will I use Whitemud landscaping, don’t trust their quantities, they are dishonest and don’t seem to care.

UPDATE: Im Elly's son, I was literally standing right next to her when the order was dropped off and when both phone calls were made. I heard the entire conversation both times, she did not come remotely close to yelling at you, and she has every right to be upset about what happened. When you pay 3 bills for a product or service, you expect to get it. We don't want you to send "extra material free of charge" we want you to send what we paid you for and did not get. You're phrasing it as if you're doing us a favour, you're not the only person in the world that's busy and has other more important things to do. If we order 2 yards to be delivered at a certain time, then we expect it to be delivered in the correct amount at the correct time, NOT on your time and convenience. I understand mistakes happen, but for you to say you had "no choice but to part ways" becuase you didn't want to rectify an error you made is a pretty weak response. We bought a yard from another supplier, and they delivered a load that was identical to what you sent us, 1YARD. Your service is a disappointment. If I could give less than one star, I would. My family has been doing landscaping for over 15 years and we do our best to try and support local businesses as much as possible. Apparently that was a mistake with Whitemud Landscape. We ordered 2 yards of limestone chips, didn't have an issue, paid for the two yards as well as 90$ for the delivery. No issues so far, but then the dump truck shows up and leaves MAXIMUM 1 yard of stone on our driveway if even that much. I called the owners and respectfully asked them if we were going to be receiving the other yard we ordered (total we paid was $300). I gave them the benefit of the doubt because it may have just been an honest mistake. Apparently not because he became incredibly rude and interrupted me several times as I was trying to clarify the situation. I know what 2 yards looks like, and so do the three other landscapers I asked. All of them confirmed it was maximum 1 yard and they've been doing landscaping longer than I have. The owner told me, and I quote "I don't have time to deal with you, if you want your second yard you can send a trailer and pick it up yourself". So not only is this piece of work skimming off the top, but he has the audacity to tell people he doesn't have time to fix his "mistakes" he makes even after I paid 90$ to have my order delivered. He told me he'd get back to me in the next day or two, it's been a week and Ive never heard back from him, not responding to any of my calls or texts. These guys make their living off shortchanging people who might not know exactly how much a yard is. All I can say is the guys who run this scam are bigger dirtbags than the trash they sell.

They walked us through each step of the way and helped us find the stone that we wanted and were the least expensive place as well! They were very helpful. It was pretty obvious I didn't know anything about landscaping size etc. Guy who loaded my stepping stones was helpful plus gave me additional info on how to take care of my stones. Will definitely come back

Seriously kind people work here. So friendly and helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. When I drove up an employee asked if he could help and walked us over to what we were looking for(rocks for my son to paint) When we went to pay for them they said don't worry about it, they're yours! As we were putting our rocks in the car another employee asked if we had found any petrified wood. We hadn't, so he stopped what he was doing to offer my son a few pieces that he had with him!! Fantastic company, prices and service! I got first got a load of limestone and then later got a fireplace. They made it super easy to order the limestone and the driver was awesome when he brought it to our place. They have a great selection of rock and are very helpful. We love the fireplace. Forgot 4 paving stone upon delivery but was delivered the next day. Also the sand they delivered had black fresh asphalt and lots of 1/4 to 1 inch rocks throughout. I had to spend more money and time to refinish the ground for paving stone. The driver of the truck who delivered pretty much insinuated I was a liar by saying he checked that bag of sand and it was good. Things happen but to insinuate I was a liar gets negative review and no more of my future business.
