We've done a lot of work to our home and property and this has been by far one of the best experiences! They met or exceeded expectations every step of the way. The planning process was fun, the job started the day we'd planned for and the crew was fantastic, working full days until they were done, and touching base with me whenever there were decisions to be made (no matter how minor). We had a patio area put in for our fire pit, added walkways, pea gravel and mulch to the surrounding area and they levelled the lawn and put down new sod. The work was top notch. Even more telling of the high level of professionalism is the care they put into follow up. They've contacted us, come out to the house to take a look after the fact and actually asked for feedback to help them do better in the future. I wish all companies cared about their craft as much as the team at Park Landscaping Ltd. When we're ready to tackle the front yard we will definitely be working with them again and we would highly recommend them to others :)

A team of workers from Park Landscaping arrived at the end of June to do our landscaping from scratch. I live in an infill so it took them only 4 days to finish it, but every day the crew cleaned up everything they had messed up, my neighbors couldn't be happier. When they finished they gave us a lot of advice to follow, including what kind of sprinkler to buy. And the designer, Dawn, was very accommodating to our budget and still the result is fantastic. We are very happy with the result and we recommend Park Landscaping 100%.

They did our final grading through our builder and failed two times. it is already been more than a month when they finished our first grading. we are still waiting for the final approval from the city. the people who did twice on our final grading don't know anything about what the city is looking for inspection. All other trades that we booked on august is still on waiting because these guys didn't do their job well. highly disappointed with their service. their office staff who is handling all these things don't know what is happening at the site. on the third time when they came to "RE-DO" the backyard grading they end up taking out all the work they had done and did it again. when enquired about this in the office they are not even aware about this. so its been 30 days since they did the grading first time and still sitting at home without having an answer whether we can do anything before the snow hits the ground. highly disappointed and wont recommend them to anybody.

This month in May 2021, we would like to send a shout out of appreciation to the topsoil and sod laying crew working in the Old Strathcona neighborhood on 84 Avenue who arrived after the concrete curb and sidewalk restoration was completed. A supervisor named Drake (he drove the skid loader) went above and beyond his work and tidied up some of our grass areas with new sod to make everything look great and match up with the new sod they were installing next to our front sidewalk. Truly appreciated! Kudo's to him and his great crew!

MR Geomatics & Engineering has been working with Park Landscaping since 7 years now. We help them with lot grading stake-out, survey and certificates. No respect for a company which can not respect a neighbourhood and people who reside at the location of a Park Landscape work site. Constant 7am starts during winter or summer; there are elderly people and younger people who have had enough of being disturbed at 7am, including on weekends, with Park Landscape equipment and noise pollution. Further to this staff tosses cigarette butts everywhere. Even after requests not to do so they also throw down more gravel than SK has on its roads and throws down more salt than what's at a salt mine and which has created a mess all throughout the building and into residences. Mowing lawns and shoveling snow being such unskilled work, if done right, would not warrant a 5star review so a landscaping company that can not get snow and grass right doesn't not even deserve a 0 out 5 review. That said, this company is still far better than cocaine, druggie, grow show HML.

We have a 50 unit condo complex located in southeast Edmonton. We hired Park Landscaping in April for our summer and winter maintenance. Two of their representatives met with our entire board, doing a walk around, so they understood our requirements. They spent 1 and 1/2 hours with us. The men and women who do our lawn care and summer maintenance are amazing. They are attentive and respond to our requests in a very efficient manner. In the past, our experience with snow removal was to say the least, frustrating. This company communicates with us to let us know they will be out to do snow removal. They are in and out in no time at all. If you are considering hiring a company to do both summer and winter maintenance, take a serious look at Park Landscaping. Mike and Adnan are a pleasure to work with.

EDIT: I have decided to rewrite my review as I and my wife were contacted by the boss and assured us of any worry or fear that we had would be dealt with. I initially left a scathing review as my wife was almost in an accident with one of the workers. My daughters are usually riding with us and I instantly went into father bear mode.

I hired them in July 2018 for a backyard project. Pricing was reasonable and they came back with a respectable price and start/completion date. However it was 3 months before anyone showed up constantly quoting weather delays. didn't know that a light mist of under 1 mm meant a week of delays in otherwise 30 degree weather. When they did start I asked that they try to prevent damage to a condo board common space. They said they would do their best not to damage it, but if they did they would repair any damages and bill me for the repairs. So their first course of action? to tear up the common space with a bobcat. Want to know how they left it? check the pics. As for the work in the backyard I'm mostly happy with exception to a number of headaches and misunderstandings about what I wanted. Overall this has been yet another frustrating experience with edmonton contractors that makes me feel like I was the bottom of their priority of jobs and from looking at the other reviews I think the only real one is the other one that says similar. EDIT: Since making this review the owner contacted me to deal with my concerns and has put in a great deal of effort to right the wrongs and explain the reasoning behind my headaches. While it was frustrating initially I do now feel like I will be able to enjoy my backyard going forward.

Such a great experience from start to finish. I sat down with Mike who listened to all my plans and dreams for my yard. I was thankful for his forward thinking as some of my ideas would have created issues down the road. He was still able to come up with alternatives that suited my wants and needs and remain in my budget. Park landscaping has a great amount of experience and wealth of knowledge. A male worker who has short blonde hair who is tall with glasses was really rude and awful to me and my wife during our services. His name was James or Jacob from what I do recall. I definitely do not recommend this company for your services if they have staff that are so rude and hostile to their clients. Never will hire this service again due to lack of respect and customer satisfaction. I heard so many good things about this company before hiring them and now I am truly disappointed. I am 56 years old and the last thing I wanted was to be disrespected and talked down to by a young man.

Don't waste your time contacting these guys unless you have a big enough job that it's worth their while to even respond. I'd talked to them and requested a quote for a backyard patio, they strung me along and wasted my time for a few weeks then finally after a couple of attempts trying to follow up, they told me they'd forgot about me and were too busy for my project. If this is how they treat potential customers, I'd hate to find out how awful the service is for actual customers.

I had Eli from Park landscaping come to my house and install some trees and shrubs for me. He was amazing to work with. Not only did he help me plan where they would be best equipped to grow but he gave me suggestions on mulch and care tips and helped me with a ton of other questions about care tips for the rest of my yard. We also hired them to take care of the weeding and fertilizing of our grass. We are very happy with them and will continue to use their services for all of our landscaping needs.

When i had a yard of premium garden mix the loader operator came out every time to check my leaf springs to ensure he was not over loading me. After a frustrating round of no-shows from kijiji, I found Park Landscaping here on Google, liked their reviews, and contacted them. Eli&Dee came out within days to give us an estimate for an entire backyard makeover. He gave us many thoughtful, budget-friendly options to choose from. We liked him immediately, appreciated thier flexibility and advice, and were thrilled with his competitive pricing. In one day, our weed-congested yard was completely cleared, leveled and amended. By the end of day two, we had a beautiful sodded yard, mulched beds with overgrown shrubs from the front yard transplanted and arranged beautifully, and written directions for care and upkeep. I couldn't believe it was my yard! I nearly cried. On top of that, all the little touches Eli and Dee surprised us with (how they found the time, I don't know): they trimmed back trees, spread extra mulch in side beds, gave us added landscape advice not pertaining to their job and even fixed the latch on our back gate. They are friendly, professional, easy to work with, dependable, and affordable. These guys are talented and know their craft! I can't recommend them enough. You will be thrilled. We are loving our new yard and only wish we'd found them sooner!

After delays from my builder, I reached out to Dawn at Park Landscaping to quickly get the landscaping done this spring for my new build home. Dawn was very helpfull in explaining how things worked and making recommendations when my suggestions didn't follow best practices. Once we got started, Brendan did a great job of managing the project by keeping me informed, answering all my questions and moving the processes along. The team that was onsite doing the work were well prepared, professional, and informative. Our project wasn't big compared to most as we only had sod (front/back), a tree with shrubs and roadcrush down the side of the hose, but the workman ship was fantastic and they completed the work very quickly. I higly recommend using Park Landscaping for your residential landscaping needs.

I hired Park Landscaping on this summer to do full landscaping; stepping stones, sod, edging, rocks, trees and fence. I am really happy with how everything turned out and the quality customer service I received. I worked with Mike to help me plan and give me an estimate for my project and he was always there to help me with ay questions I had. Tony and his guys came to do the work and they were such a great crew, friendly, hard working and kept the work area very clean. They kept checking that I was happy how things were going and willing to change things if I wasn't. Jimmy came to build our fence and he did an incredible job, its a truly beautiful high quality fence. Employees are super unprofessional. They show up early in the morning and use an ice scraper and a leaf blower to clear sidewalks. Pretty sure there is such thing as a shovel. They also use leaf blowers in the summer to blow grass off the sidewalks instead of a broom. Such unnecessary noise no respect for the community which they serve.

I was referred by a friend to Park Landscaping. I had called three different companies to get some quotes on a brand new house landscaping design. Price wasn't the only factor, Im big on service and communication as well. After going through the process of talking to three different companies I chose Park. They showed up when they said they would, we had good communication via email/text and it made my decision very simple as the other two struggled with the service side. I first dealt with Chad (Estimator/Designer) and we scheduled an appointment. I had a good idea with what I wanted to do but was also looking for some expertise in other areas and also wanted to be open minded. I was pretty much set on a low maintenance yard and Chad did a great job listening to my wants and needs.I needed everything, from a fence, gas lines, fake turf, pavers, to trees and shrubs. He did some measuring and asked that I get him the lot dimensions which was easy to do as it is a new house. He then came back with a computer program design that I was actually able to envision the look. After sitting down and tweaking a few things the plan was put in motion. Because of Covid and a rainy summer it took a bit longer to get going than anticipated but understandable given the circumstances, permits on new construction etc. It is what it is. We had good communication throughout and there were no surprises. Chad brought out his Residential Division Manager, Brendan and the three of us went over all the last details and made sure we were all on the same page before we got started as there was some gaps because of the above circumstances. When we got started. A crew of three guys came out Daniel, Branigan, and Rene. Always showed up on time, asked a few questions to make sure, even pitched in a couple ideas while installing some of the things (what if we moved some of the pavers two feet here and add it over there kind of thing). The guys were great, so kudos to them. Overall Park Landscaping was a pleasure to deal with. Throughout the whole process Chad, Brendan and I had great communication. Kept me up to speed with timing, any issues, expectations. One of my big pet peeves is the communication and if you say you will be here at 11am for example and you can't, drop me a text or call and let me know and they did a great job with that. I would highly recommend Parks and the crew. I appreciate the guys working with my schedule, being on time, good recommendations, good communication, good followups, no surprises, and working with my ideas of wants and needs. Awesome job guys, and thank you Brendan, Chad, Daniel, Branigan, and Rene. You have my future business and any referrals I can get you. High fives.

I am not a handy man per say. I was happy that Park landscaping took complete charge of the job. They offered suggestions and when my wife or I said yes they immediately got to work. It also was nice to see a group of workers actually out there working a full day. When you are paying for something the worst is seeing people stand around on your dime. The Park workers showed up 15 minutes early every day and didn't stop until after dark. It was impressive!!

Approximately one month ago, Park Landscaping laid our sod, stones, planted trees and tiles in between the stones. Shabban and Aman were patient, professional and polite. They executed their work with efficiency, expertise and it was obvious that they were experienced. They even provided information on how to maintain the sod, especially in light of the fact that the sod was being laid at the onset of the extreme heat experienced in Alberta. This was highly appreciated. Liat and Cristina were exceptional in assisting us with design options and execution scheduling respectively and were overall personable, knowledgeable and responsive. Updated Review now that the job is completed: Pros: -Professional quote process -Competitive prices -Friendly people -Patient when we realized something was up with out hosebibs and needed to get the plumber over to address -Got the job done -Semi happy with paver patio Cons: -Almost didn't get work completed because our project was pushed back so many times the weather almost got to cold to finish. -Reactive communication - wouldn't update us on delays until we asked. Left us feeling anxious as we had no idea what was happening when. -Quote for pavers included too thin of a base layer for Edmonton climate. We were lucky we asked prior to work starting so we could request extra crush (added cost), otherwise we'd be redoing it in a couple years. -Damaged neighbours sod. They fixed it upon request, but we had to ask and they did just want to wait and see if it'll grown back next year. (It was really damaged, it wasn't going to grow back). -When they laid our sod, the plot plan the workers had was cut off which had them make a couple of mistakes that needed to be redone. -Borrowed a ratchet from my husband. When it started snowing a couple hours after they left he asked me if they returned it (he was out when they left and I hadn't realized they had it so didn't ask for it when they told me they were done). He found it left carelessly in the grass outside. He dried it off and put it away, but tried to use it today and it actually needs to be replaced. -One day my husband came home from work to the workers yelling at each other. Am I happy with the work completed and price? Yes. Am I happy with the overall experience had to get the work completed? Not at all. Also edited to include a couple pictures of the trim around the pavers which was done poorly and doesn't actually meet at the corner.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Here's what happened: I requested a quote and what I received was an incorrect quote on April 29th 2020. When I called to confirm the quote I was told it was the "wrong quote" - Someone was sent out to quote to the actual landscaping cost, and I was told that I would receive the correct quote later that same week. However; I received no call back, no quote, no email, and no follow-up at all. Absolutely disappointed with this. I'm not sure if they were too busy, or just too lazy to do the job. Whatever the case may be, it was completely unprofessional.

She never complained about the number of times I asked her to revise the landscaping plan and was always so welcoming and prompt in helping us design the landscaping plan. She came at the site several times to ensure things were running as per plan. Brendan was excellent in coordinating everything. If a plant was out of stock, he emailed several options and ensured we got something we were absolutely happy with. Replaced things without slightest hesitation. Liat and Brendan are a great team, and we would recommend them without any hesitation. The site sup, Tony was excellent too - very courteous and professional.

Park Landscaping was recommended to me and I recommend it to anyone in need of landscaping, paving stones, and unique ideas for your back or front yard! I needed to completely redo my back yard and Liat was amazing in coming up with design ideas. She incorporated all my requirements to design a yard both functional and beautiful. Even when we ran into small challenges, she worked with me and Tony the foreman to come up with great solutions. Tony and his crew were very efficient and did excellent quality work. He provided suggestions for minor changes that improved the overall look. Everything looks great and we have gotten many compliments on the yard and how it all fits together. I am getting them to come back this year and help me with my next project. Great communications, reasonable price, great consultation and design and great work! I highly recommend Park Landscaping! We hired Park Landscaping to do the work on the final grade of our new infill home. Knowing that grading on infills can be a stringent process, we decided to hire a bigger company and spent more money to get the job done right. After we agreed to their estimator’s quote the work was done over two days in the fall. Upon our inspection there were some issues with the quality, and quantity, of the soil that did not match our expectations nor our original quote. Our final grade did not pass and the city inspector noted some details that needed rectifying before the grade would pass. Unfortunately neither Park Landscaping nor the weather cooperated to complete our final grade that year. Eli, the president of Park Landscaping, became involved the following year and was very sincere and genuinely concerned that we ended up being happy with their work. It took the better half of the summer and some negotiating, but finally in the fall the work was completed. Our final grade inspection was passed and it was really a team effort between Park Landscaping and ourselves. Eli personally arranged to meet the city inspector at our home and do a walk through to make sure he understood the inspectors concerns completely. At the end of the day Eli kindly refunded a portion of our payment, acknowledging that neither the length of time, our time, and some of the issues we experienced were justified nor the image he wanted to project of his company. Our experience with Park Landscaping’s crew was positive, they were hard working, polite, friendly and got the work done quickly when they came. Any further concerns from the city were quickly addressed by Eli and his crew and we were very happy and relieved when we received notice that our final grade inspection passed. Although we had a rough start we were satisfied with the work and attention that Eli and his company gave us. We would definitely recommend Park Landscaping as a company that stands by their work and warranty program, and is committed to making their customers happy.

We had our landscaping done by Park but my husband and I had some serious with some of the work done. Didn't feel like we were getting anywhere with the company despite numerous phone calls and emails. We ended up speaking with Eli, the owner of the company. He offered to meet us at our house the same day we spoke with him and went over all the problems we had. Eli was very pleasant to deal with, listened to all our complaints and offered solutions. He made a list of everything that needed to get fixed and assured us that he would personally oversee all the remedial work himself. Much to our surprise, he came by the very next day with a crew of five people and to got to working on our lawn right away. We were very happy with the final result. Absolutely fantastic work by the Park Landscaping crew. We worked with Mike to plan our front and back yard renovations, and his patience was incredible as we kept changing small detail after small detail. He was quick to respond, and all quotes were reasonable and comparable to others I looked into. The job itself was done by Matt, and he and his crew really did outstanding work. Our slate patio and cedar retaining walls are our favorite! They were pleasant and punctual, and worked to get the job done in the quickest time with the highest quality. They were open to suggestions on the spot, and provided their own suggestions to offer possible improvements to the design (since I'm no expert). Most importantly, they cleaned up everything very well - which I take as a sign of true respect to the owner. Superb job and customer service - I highly recommend them.

I contacted Park Landscaping last fall after trying to deal with other local contractors and being disappointed (whole other story..). PL responded quickly to my request for a circular patio with questions about ease of access for machines and pictures of the site. Once their estimator had that information, Liat provided me with the estimate. The price was reasonable, based on the estimates I'd received from the previous contractors and we booked them for this spring. Problem arose with the bricks chosen as they were no longer available but Brendan arranged for me to check out other colours. The patio was installed in two days by Tony and Nelson and looks fabulous. Was very surprised to see the two of them complete the work today as there was snow on the ground and temps were hovering around zero. Highly recommend them and would use them again.

After searching out numerous quotes and requests for quotes, we finally decided on Park Landscaping for a complete lawn replacement and 2 sidewalk installs. They were the highest of all quotes, but I explained to my husband that has to stand for something. I've seen their vehicles all over the city and my fingers were crossed that they would exceed my expectations. On the anticipated date of July 23rd the process began. The Workers were so polite and considerate to both my landscaping project and my curious neighbors grand children. They all seemed skilled in what they were doing. My OCD tendancies were in overdrive because of the anticipated mess that was sure to be evident on my return home the first day - I was remarkably surprised because they weren't careless. Each night they went home, they cleaned and organized - very much appreciated. We did run into a couple of hiccups, but having the Owner of Park Landscaping visit our project says something for his passion in his company - I was so surprised that within 24 hours of his visit, everything was as it should be, and I am the very proud owner of my new yards. They say that Customer Service is not built on doing things right, but rather what you do to fix something gone wrong. I can't give high enough praise for this company. They did some landscaping for me last summer and they always showed up when they said they would and completed the job in a timely manner. Great communication throughout the process as well. Eli made sure I understood all the options and was very reasonable in their fees. You can tell that their business model doesn't revolve around trying to milk their clients for as much as possible. They care about providing great service and work until you're satisfied. I hear they are doing pools now as well and I wish they had been available when I had mine installed because I had a terrible experience with a different company. Keep up the great work!

Overall, our experience with Park was a good one. We had a hiccup with our sod, but the company made good on their promise to fix it - and they did so in a timely manner. We had several projects quoted, made several changes, and they always took the time to help us explore our options.
