A very good selection of annuals, per-annals, and bedding plants for the garden. The price is nearly half that of similar sized plants that we saw at Salisbury plus the checkout staff were knowledgeable and courteous. Definitely going back and recommending this place to friends.

My family has been going to Arch for years. Their annuals are always excellent and the people who work and run the greenhouse are friendly and extremely helpful. I recommend that everyone should check out Arch before heading to one of the "big name" greenhouses.

SO RUDE!!!! I direct messaged the company asking for a specific plant I’ve been looking for and was so excited when they responded to me letting me know they had what I was looking for. My husband and I drove all the way across the city to the greenhouse today to go look for it. My husband went in and wasn’t acknowledged by any staff! So I decided I’d go in after and see if anyone would help me instead. I was asked if I needed any help (weird!) I again asked about the plant I had messaged someone about previously and was told they sold out (which was fine) and told they had some more rooting in the back, so I might wait for a while. After we got home, I thought I’d message them again, asking if they had any approx time when they’d be ready. I was told they don’t know and because it’s a popular plant they won’t be telling me when they’re going on for sale and won’t put any holds on plants for anyone.. buuut if you’ve gone through their social media and comment sections, they say other wise for everyone else. I later found out tonight a few other plant groups have bought plants from here and were littered with bugs! Guess I lucked out. I’ll spend my money elsewhere

Such an excellent setup for shopping during a pandemic. Great traffic flow, sanitized carts, clear directional arrows - I haven't seen it done better anywhere!

Plants appear healthy, and well taken care of. ARCH promotes and uses natural methods to keep the plants so well, healthy and free of diseases. There is knowledgeable advice at the site. The greenhouse appears well maintained and I found no plant in bad shape or not happy. Reasonable prices. All good for a great social cause. Thank you

The Greenhouse is of course open . They are well setup for dealing with Covid19. All single file lanes and sanitized carts. A good overall experience and a fantastic place to go shopping for Summer!!Edited review and added a ????. Finding herbs that no one else has is a score. This is a true hidden gem. South of 34 Ave at 97 Street is the best city greenhouse. I gather it is a best kept secret as there was a steady stream of customers filling up their baskets. I will be back soon! Ok the plants and fruit we bought there are doing very well. This is an edit of the review done at the beginning of the growing season. What a delight to have fresh strawberries every other morning with breakfast. Definitely top of our greenhouse list. Added a star

What a treat this greenhouse is! Filled with unique plants that I have not seen at any other greenhouse in the city. Baskets that were FULL, showed great growth performance and creativity. I live in Calgary and yearly purchase my mother in law flower pots from Arch Greenhouses. I could not be in Edmonton for Mother's Day this year. I contacted the Arch and within 2 days I received a telephone call related to my situation. Sylvia was so responsive and helpful. She even utilized her personal cell phone to send me photos. My mother in law is going to be so happy even though we can not be there. Thank you Sylvia for going above and beyond related to warm and caring service. By the way the pots are beautiful! Went to Arch Greenhouse on April 30, 2021. Their Covid restrictions said only 15 people allowed. However this was not 15% of capacity as the space can hold far more than 100 people. Had to wait for over 25 minutes to get in. Then we were so disappointed with their inventory. All hanging baskets had not much selection as they were all very similar with not as much diversity as what they normally had in the past. Almost no vegetables, and no petunias. Very poor selections. All other greenhouses we have visited have all vegetables and petunias in stock. This was super poor selection and we will not be back and do not recommend this greenhouse.

We (including ourselves and our extended family) have been long time customers at Arch and have always had a positive experience. We have spent thousands over the years on spring flowers / vegetables and gift cards for friends and enjoy supporting the smaller greenhouses. However, Sunday was a completely different story. We were at one end of the tomato greenhouse looking at plants. My curious 1.5 yr old son had innocently grabbed a couple tomato signs (which were perfectly at his eye level!) in his hand for the few seconds we had turned away to look at and load up our plants. Once we realized he had them we promptly took them from him and put them back into the plants where they belonged. Having come after May long weekend, the tomato greenhouse was pretty low on stock so it was very easy to figure out where they went and wasn't a big deal. Just as this was happening, an older female employee walked in, saw my son and scolded us as we were putting the signs back. As we were turning to leave, the employee continued to walk to the other end of the tomato greenhouse. She then turned and stared at us from the other end of the tomato greenhouse and, in an accusatory tone, very angrily started scolding the three of us (my son, wife and I) a second time while holding a few tomato signs in her hand saying "THIS IS NOT NICE!!!" We had not let our son play in that end of the tomato greenhouse where these tomato signs were and she wrongly assumed that our son had done this. She was so loud that customers outside of the greenhouse were turning to look. We were mortified to say the least. Needless to say, we grabbed our son, promptly paid for the tomato plants on our cart and left despite not having finished purchasing everything we had gone there for. I have never been spoken to in this way by an employee at a store and have never been so embarrassed. I completely understand her frustration and sympathize with how she felt, however I don't feel that the situation warranted such a dramatic outburst. There were numerous other ways she could have managed the situation without creating such a scene. I don't need a strange woman taking it upon herself to wrongly embarrass and scold my son in front of us not just once but twice! It honestly ruined the rest of the day for us, which otherwise should have been a lovely afternoon at the greenhouse with my family. Sadly, this is not the first time I hear of Arch employees mistreating customers - others I know have encountered some less than ideal situations there of late. I always saw Arch as a "hidden gem" with quality products. However, after this incident I am afraid I will have to take my business elsewhere until they can figure out how to properly treat their customers. They seem to be doing well enough financially that they don't mind alienating some of their long-time customers. I rarely post negative reviews about a company but this was so unacceptable that I needed to warn others about it, including my inner circle.

I’ve consistently had bad service from Arch. I normally call and ask for product availability and no one ever tells me or calls back. Today I looked for help for 15 minutes, no one was visible and then I stood by the cashiers desk. A customer behind me demanded service and they helped him first, didn’t acknowledge me and when I finally got someone’s attention, they were rude and only told me “I don’t know”. I can confidently say after consistently bad experience, that I will never come back or give them my business.

I know we are all adjusting to keeping distance etc but I was told to stand on an X while a lady went thru and totaled up my flowers. She then told the fellow behind me to go ahead to the cashier. He said that I was next and she said to go anyways! Ten seconds later she told me to wait for the next cashier! I’ve been going there for years but never again! Everyone else was very nice but the supervising lady.
