Same as most Winners. Good selection of off price designer fashion. Mainly woman's fashion but also some food, house wear, home decorations and men's clothing. Also assortment of games, small electronics and odds and ends. You can find good stuff here cheap but it is a discount outlet so goods are jammed onto the racks and you have to be willing to do a lot of digging

I was very interested in a speaker they had for sale (of course it had to be the last one) so it didn't even come with a box, charger, instructions, nothing! I asked the manager for a discount based on that fact (i don't know what damage it could have, no instructions, no charger, nothing) she refused. As i went to the cashier I brought it again and asked someone for their opinion on what to me seemed unfair... After a long wait, i got 4$ off only to find that the microphone with the amp are not even working!! So ridiculous!!

I bought a pair of pants here a while back and I only got to wear them a few times and the button popped off and dissapeared. They would not take it back because "I could get a button at the dollar store and sew it on". But that's not the freaking point is it I spend 40-50 bucks on these pants and I have to fix them after wearing it a couple times? No I dont want these crap pants.

As a person with a disability the staff in this store is very caring towards my service dog and me. I tend to find the products that I need whenever I shop in this store. I always appreciate the highly trained staff in their appropriateness towards differently- abled persons. More importantly, I dont feel watched, followed, unwelcome and/or any type of retail racism like some of the other stores that I visit.

This place used to be so much better 7 years ago. Now the selection of most things except women's clothing are fairly limited. I remember coming here and always finding something interesting but now it's very bare minimum, maybe it's due to the pandemic. The soaps and lotions that they have now don't smell nice and seem old, the selection is very limited also so you have to pick the best out of the worst.

Winner's has always such a varied selection of great items and the one in Yarmouth is no exception. Bought some beautiful 500 count sheets. The decor gift ware had me begging to buy more but I resisted...barely. I would definitely recommend this shop.

So I was in the Courtenay Winners and there was one girl on till and a huge line up!(I normally would be ok with this) but then the manager comes out with another employee dressed up because she had lost a bet and there is like 6 of them just standing around laughing! You think this would be more appropriate after hours, or maybe a slower time. Everyone in line was not impressed...

My Go-To place for much of my shopping. They have so much to choose from and it's constantly changing. It's hard to go in and not end up with a cart full of treasures as you will never know just what you will find there on that shopping trip. Some of our favourite foods have been purchased there. It's my 'happy store' when I go in to see so many cheery spring and summer clothes in February. I purchase most of my gifts or shop for others there. I am sad they aren't at my end of town anymore as I cannot get there as often but always worth the drive. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this store!!

Not all that cost effective and you have to enroll in the tj max program to be able to return up to 1 month (like everywhere else), other wise you have only 2 weeks. Not much selection for kids clothes and much of it comes with defects, ie broken zippers, stitches fallen out, torn pockets.

I really love all the open makeup containers decorating their store like twinkling stars left behind by people without morals. I found the selection at winners was very inconsistent. It was a mixup of all kinds of off stock items that didn't seem to make cohesive collection. The pricing was WAY too high for scuffed up and damaged items that seemed to be cast offs but priced at full or higher than market new value. I saw furniture there priced at $800. I think winners doesn't know their audience. It's like when someone on Kijiji is selling a used chair for full market price and you can't help but think they're dillusional and what are they thinking. Sorry for the harsh review, but I hope you'll take it as honest feedback and make changes before you go out of business like so many other Canadian big box stores. I mean, you're right beside Walmart! Shake things up or it's not going to work out.

This Winner's has a security guard that targets indigenous customers & follows them around the store. He kept following my sister in law (inuk) while she was browsing the racks. Then he would follow her brother around. He would go back & forth. When he pasted my sister in law in the clothing section, he gave her a demeaning smirk & all around gave her a creepy vibe. The security guard only stopped harassing them because I (a white passing female) joined them & starred him down. You can tell he has lots of hate in his heart

Left winners with a beautiful table but a bad taste in my mouth. I was looking at buying a table and apon looking the pice over there was visible damage to one corner.The one staff member I first talked with was very helpful but could only do a small discount. She said I could talk to the manager so after a long wait the manager showed up and was super rude. She rolled her eyes at me after the first staff member told her that she offered to take a small amount off the price and said to me "so what do you want" then a flat out rude "no" when I asked for a better deal on a damaged pice. I ended up purchasing the item but was really taken back by how rude the manager was and if she talked to me like that how she would talk to the staff. It will make me think twice next time I want to go shopping at this location.
