Ordered a whole lot of succulents, from Haworthia to Stomaticum, Graptopetalum, Oscularia.... Lots of cacti. Unfortunately for the local plant stores around Vancouver, I will never go back to them since Valley Succulents sent me pristine plants in the CORRECT soil and wrapped so well that I basically only had to dust them off and place them on the shelf. A few plants had to be shipped without soil but the packaging was so nice that every single plants I received already looked healthy in the box, and after a month by the window, they are thriving and looking like they were never put in a box and shipped. Very very impressed not only by the selection that this business has, but the quality of the plants they shipped me. I'd rather order online and have them shipped (and I can't believe I'm saying this about plants) rather than buying them from the local stores with flies and incorrect soil that causes root rot.

I recently inquired with Valley Succulents about placing an order for 150+ small succulents to use as wedding favours for my upcoming nuptials. Communication was quick, thorough and Jamey was so helpful answering any and all questions I had. I just received the shipment in 2 packages today and the plants are so lovely! They were packed with care. Out of 160 only one had any damage (and it wasn't anything that couldn't be fixed with a quick prune). Their prices were very reasonable compared to other places I looked into. I know my guest will love taking them home (although I won't complain if I get to keep a few for myself)!

Amazing experience with ordering online! This greenhouse has the largest selection of Haworthia that I have been able to find in Canada. I am amazed by all of the selection every time they update their inventory. The plants that I ordered were massive, and arrived in great condition! I would suggest Valley to anyone!

well first impression was not good. upon arrival there was a man sitting in a chair.. male owner i guess. i greeted him cheerily as i had just driven all the way from nanaimo to get here. he acted angry as if me and my hubby were a huge inconvenience to him, literally just for saying hi. so immediately i felt uncomfortable being here. the female owner was nice enough i guess?... she was following us around like we were going to steal something. pretty disrespectful to paying customers. shoved information down our throats.. now i see if she was just trying to be helpful, but we didn't ask, and we were being followed the entire time. this was extremely hard to do my shopping. ok so next, i purchased a few outdoor sedum, REGRETFUL!!! their cartons were sparse and depressing looking, honestly it was a rip off what they were trying to sell. i bought them thinking it was rare and might not see them again.. but sure enough , beautiful full cartons of sedum can be found elsewhere, for a fraction of the price. dont care if they have a decent selection, we were treated poorly and will not come back. would maybe recommend if you are just looking for one specific plant, that they might have, if you feel like being ripped off over it. 8.50 for aloes that i could find full (healthy) cartons of elsewhere for $5. what a joke. other than that wouldn't bother unless you got lots of money to spend, and like being followed your entire visit.

I have placed three orders over the last three years with Valley Succulents, in total worth several hundred dollars, and I am totally satisfied with the quality and size and health of the plants (all tender succulents) I received. The packaging was excellent and no plants arrived damaged. The well over 50 plants have purchased have revealed themselves over time to be bug free, contrary to my experience with other vendors I tried (on a more limited basis) . It may not be a guarantee one will never get an infested plant but it certainly shows that the operation is very clean. Another point is that the photos illustrating the stock are accurate representations of what is shipped, not specimen of the plants at their peak potential as most other vendors do. If you like what's pictured, it only gets better. I'm glad I found this place.

My orbeas arrived in two days, bare root and ready to be put in soil. Super healthy, no "guests" piggybacking on them. The pricing is super low going by what I have seen online. Highly recommended. Oh, they also have seed available for various huernia, stapelia, duvalia and many others, also at a great price.

Placed an online order. Everything arrived healthy and intact! Really happy with my purchase. I just wish they had a filter on their website to hide the "temporarily out of stock" plants. Its a bit much to have to sift through it all.

Valley Suuculents has a variety of Echeverrias, Cactus and many more. You'll be surprised to see that they even have hard-to-find plants. Not only that, Jamey sees to it that they are fairly priced, but most of the time....way cheaper. Im from Toronto so Jamey ships.them to me. They are packed carefully and is well protected. Ive attached pictures. Highly recommended!

I can not say enough good about this place, I am beyond happy. I have previously ordered Succulents from other Canadian online sites, and I had thought I was satisfied. Until I one day ordered from this place (Valley Succulents). I am so blown away, I have no words to describe. Each of the dozens of plants I got, are so big, strong stem, amazingly healthy. Each plant can be considered an excellent representation of that breed. The other sites in comparison, can't even compare! They sell the same size Succulents (2" to 6", etc.) But they are weak, or have tiny thin stems. Hopefully I can post pictures to compare. This place will be the only place I get my Succulents from , from now on. I highly, highly recommend.

Purchased 2 cacti online and wow they are so nice! Came shipped out of soil with bare roots which made them extremely easy to pot. If you're worried about the safety of your cacti in the mail, DON'T YOU WORRY! They take lots of care in making sure the plant arrives undamaged. I'll definitely be buying from them again!
