Went here for small cactus and discovered that they hot glue flowers onto them...very disappointed. And it's not simple to cut them off (this is the one I bought not knowing it was fake)

This location has more selection of outdoor plants and even indoor plants like cacti than the Oak Bay one. The staff are very helpful though sometimes it's hard to find one when one is out amongst the outdoor plants. They expanded parking which is great because it can get busy. Long hours so one could go morning, afternoon, or early evening. A little pricey but they have some beautiful plants and gardening accessories. Sometimes it's a little hard to find items but the staff can take one to the item quickly and easily.

I was in the other GardenWorks located in Oak Bay a few days ago, and I had a terrible experience. I feel, obliged to say that my experience at the Saanich GardenWorks was much more pleasant. The staff is super friendly, and all in all it was a great experience.

I was so sad to be in a hurry because I think I could have spent a great deal of time here. There are many varieties of plants but items available range from pots, planting mixes, tools, outdoor furniture and decor, bird houses, feeders and food, reading glasses and books....and much more. They even stock Tilley hats! I'll definitely be going back when I have a LOT of time to browse!

A very good store. Lots of selection for plants, trees and seedlings. A very nice selection of pots and hanging baskets as well. Some garden furniture as well as rugs are available. There is a good selection of bagged soil as well as bulk soil. Things are well laid out and social distancing is observed. The store is a bit pricey but it is a good store to find those things that you can't find anywhere else.

Connor and the guy at the till (sorry don't remember his name - edit HIS NAME IS ALEX) we're very helpful today for my first time visiting. I needed to repot orchids and Connor let me know some helpful tips. The guy at the till was very friendly and signed me up for the GardenWorks program. He let me know there is a lifetime warranty on all plants and pots! As well as a cashback on all purchases that is paid out 4 times a year in the store. Will be back soon. The pots available are to die for. I will be back...probably next week haha. Thank you to the staff for being so friendly and helpful! P. S there is also a very cute dog.

Always have a wonderful selection of indoor, outdoor, or tropical plants. Tropicals are priced a bit high but are generally in better condition then other places you can buy them.

The variety of plants is overwhelming. And this is a good thing. In spring their vegetable starters are excellent with lots of choices, especially varieties of tomatoes and strawberries. And I've found some really cool flowers I'd never seen before. Staff are friendly and helpful. Prices are good.

Nice selection, but watch out for being charged the incorrect price. one of the items that I purchased didn't scan at the price advertised in the flyer. Even after a supervisor came and "fixed" the price, the price I was given was still $3 more than the flyer. I even questioned him on it and he brushed me off.

I bought a monstera plant here yesterday for $72 and today I found the same plant (even in slightly better condition) at Canadian Tire Store for $49.99. I will give 3 stars because the staff were helpful to us and there were a good variety of plants and gardening related stuff.
