In the summer of 2013 I had Althouse in to trim my sick maple tree. They did a good job, left no mess and the tree was aesthetically trimmed. This year the tree looked healthier than it had in 5 years and this September it is the last tree in the neighbourhood to start to change rather than the first. Althouse truly gave me back my beautiful shade tree. Additionally, they noticed that my flowering crab tree was not thriving and gave me good, simple advice on what I could do to restore and maintain it in good health. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company for their expertise and service. A full 10 out of 10.

We've been clients of Althouse Horticultural for nearly a decade now, and I can say with confidence that this is a company with absolute integrity. They give honest advice (even when it might not be to their corporate benefit) and have kept our trees healthy and happy through some of the toughest years and environments possible. Estimates are fair and usually have some options attached. Work is done promptly, carefully, and clean up is done scrupulously. In addition, I've enjoyed the learning opportunity that I've had; I've learned so much about what to do and what not to do in terms of keeping our trees in top condition. Wish there were more companies out there like this!
