Amazing lunch! Sand which, soup, tart -- it was all great! We will definitely be back. The women working were so helpful, welcoming and kind. We just regret that we forgot to pick up our tart at the end of the lunch!! All the more reason to return!

If you're on the hwy 3 stretch do not miss this place! Beautiful gardens, lovely gifts, tasty food and wonder full people. The structure itself is a must see! Susanne also has workshops and interest groups for those in the area or willing to travel.

Cute little place to stop on a roadtrip! They have two floors, one that has products and the upstairs which has more selection and fresh food.The cookie dough fudge was to die for. The decor felt homey and familiar, along with the employees who greeted us upon arrival. There were some cute fall decor items I had to buy. Would come here again!

Today was my first time going to this awesome little place.. I will be back for sure and will make sure others know about it too. The ornaments , signs, socks, Christmas decorations amongst so many other things were so cute...then there was the upstairs. Following my nose up that beautiful spiral wooden staircase to the scent of beef barley soup was amazing. Unfortunately we were too close to closing time to sit and enjoy a bowl but I promise we will be back. Great place ......perfect place to stroll through!

VERY over priced! The size and quantity of the foods and beverages are way too small for the grossly exorbitant prices. If you don’t mind forking out your dough just to treat yourself with a few bites, this place may be for you as they make everything fresh. However, if you are on a budget, this place is not for you. There are touristy tidbits of artsy items (eg. cards, placemats, pictures, etc). For those who have ambulatory problems, this place is largely NOT accessible ... no accessible parking, no levelled paths to enter/exit, not much room on the first floor for those in wheelchairs, and a spiral staircase going up to the foods and beverages.

Lots of campy, fun items to look at on both floors. Great diner upstairs with in-house- made food, ice cream, and some of the best butter tarts you will find. The gardens surrounding it are beautiful as well. Crazy 8 Barn is a nice stop along Hwy 3.

Unique store with all kinds of interesting gift items. Great place to browse around for a while and then head up the spiral staircase for more shopping and an absolutely delicious lunch. Homemade everything - sandwiches with in house fresh baked bread, great soups, and the best butter tarts for miles around for dessert. After you've eaten take a stroll through the gardens. Definitely 5 stars for food and experience.

A really great place to spend an afternoon! The shop has lots of cute trinkets, toys, decorations and clothes. There is also a place to get food upstairs. They have hot food, ice cream, coffee, as well as sauces and honeys to take home.
