Stay away from this company. In April of 2019 I gave him a $1000 deposit for the installation of our above ground pool. He promised 4 times to show up for the install, starting in late May and after the fourth failure to show up yesterday, August 12th, I questioned his honesty with us and he started insulting me and backed out of his agreement. We lost the entire summer. This was a gift to my wife and he ruined it and then blamed the me and the weather. Then, he said he would refund my money yesterday and didn't. I have threatened legal action, which I will take. He is unethical. He is a liar. He is rude, arrogant and as far as I am concerned, completely a scam artist. Edited to add: AFTER I posted this review and AFTER I threatened legal action, I did receive the refund. Being an honest person I felt obligated to post this edit.

Gary and his team did an outstanding job on my pool opening. I asked him to "just take care of it" and that is exactly what they did. Took cover off and folded it up nicely, vacuumed the pool, took care of the chems/heater/tested lights. Great job and I did not have to chase them to get it done. Very positive experience.

We had excellent service from Gary. He installed our above ground pool. He was very pleasurable to deal with and he had great communication with any weather delays. We are VERY happy with everything. This fall we also took advantage of his yard clean up service. ???? Raked all the leaves and bagged them, leaving us a picture perfect yard before winter. We HIGHLY recommend Gary at Above the Rest Pools!!

We highly recommend Gary and his crew for any pool install. We were in an emergency situation when the liner blew out of our pool 2 weeks before the sale of our house closing. Gary came out on the first possible day to get the job done! The crew was professional and completed the install quickly. The new homeowner was very happy and will enjoy many years in the "new" pool. We will be contacting Gary in the future when we are ready to purchase a hot tub. Highly recommend Gary and his crew.

Very disappointed with Gary and this company, thought we had everything arranged in February when we gave our deposit for work to be done. Unfortunately Gary kept putting us off so many times starting in April that by mid June our pool had become unrepairable and he gave us complete radio silence after we asked him to give us a price for a new pool which he never did. In hind site we consider this a blessing as Above the Rest Pools is very unreliable and probably would never have installed if ordered anyway. After a week of excuses we finally did get our deposit back however. His Facebook page and website look very professional however dealing with them is a totally different story. If we could give this company a 0 star we certainly would and would not recommend him to anyone, stay far away.

We left a message about getting a pool liner replaced and Gary called us back in less than a day. He came out within a couple days to get the information he needed to give us a quote which we received promptly. He told us he would be here around 14 days after we accepted the quote and he was here in 10. He and his team did a terrific job and we were very impressed with his promptness.
