Hard to find what you are looking for because the sites inventory is often incorrect. Staff have been generally helpful. However the younger employees need more training on their departments products.

They no longer offer Air Miles on purchases, they do not offer a large product variety, I have often needed to go somewhere else for more variety. It's real hard to find someone who speaks English, their product descriptions are only in French instead of being bilingual which is permitted in Quebec.

Horrible place...every time i go i come back disappointed. People with no experience and no professionalism at all. For example I bought a paint this week the sales person asked me if i want it shiny? I told him clearly no and he gave me shiny paint. And I hate shiny paint. Now they don't take back anything because of covid-19. This will be my last time to go this place.

Ordered lumber for a deck and the wood is wet and cracked. Do not order your wood from here, because they dont care what they are picking. half of the wood is going to be returne because it is unacceptable. pictures to follow.

My comment was deleted off of their Facebook page, so I'll post it here. I went to their Chateauguay, Quebec about two weeks ago and I'm very disappointed in their paint recommendation. I was looking for opaque deck stain. Sico brand. I thought at the time that's what I wanted and was sure it was the right choice, because it is a solid colour. They told me there is a difference between stain and paint so they recommended Sico Interior/Exterior latex paint. I told them I am doing my deck outside and will be walking on it, there is a pool and it will be in the sun etc. I even asked two people behind the counter. I spent a week working on the deck before painting Now, after two weeks of waiting with the paint on (recommended on the can) , the deck is sticky, and the paint is bubbling. I knew they were wrong and the opaque deck stain would have worked, but since they work there figured they would be right. My deck is ruined now and I don't know how to fix this.

People & service: numero uno. Prices: decent (rain checks galore!) Selection: essentials and must-haves for all needs... but not as much selection as the HH's and RD's of the world. Good materials dept, but tools section always leave me blah. Overall, my go-to place for anything around the house, yard or garden.

Decent store and they usually have stock when it shows up online. They have pretty good sales & specials. They did sell our wood we ordered for pickup online, delaying a project by a week or two, which was frustrating. However it was a peak building period. It would be nice if the kept stock of the wood we ordered instead of having to make 2 trips.

Do not keep up on their inventory. Also too many young kids don't know enough on repair. And what your asking for. Example redoing my floor asked for applicator for oil base varnish, he said use the applicator for decks. Of course not had to go to Candiac to get the product I needed.

Went in today to ask about a fireplace salws man didnt know price , if it has a blower, what the capacity btu was ? Told me it was the amount it burned in a hour?
