Great Canadian and Chinese food

This food was almost as disgusting as the sticky, smelly bathroom. I ordered a combo 5. The eggroll tasted like bad cabbage, rice was made this morning or yesterday, tasted burned. The chicken balls were overdone and the sauce was horrible. To make matters worse, when I tried all the items on my plate and complained about the quality/flavour, the owner came out mad that I said I didn't like it. He told me I was paying the bill even though I barely touched it. I basically gave him $20 so he would shut his mouth. Apparently this is the best Chinese food on the island. Do yourself a favour and swear off Chinese food while you visit. If you live here I feel for you. And Mr. Restaurant Owner, I will be calling the health department.

The food was definitely not great. I think there may have been too much MSG, as my 12 year old daughter thought she was going to die from the heart palpitations and nausea that kept her up that night. She loves chinese food but we won't be eating here again.

They take their phone off the hook 80 percent of the time. The food is very good and staff are nice. He must want to loose a lot of business. So many people are frustrated with this practice. They must NOT want the business that they are turning every week. Very very frustrating

Worst customer service in Cornwall. Chef is a total jerk to speak to. When my order was incorrectly filled it took over 2 days to speak to someone because there line is busy constantly. When I explained my problem to the chef he was very rude and didn't care his response was to bring it back to show him the mistake. It's a complete joke I was talked to like I'm a thief looking for a free meal. I wouldn't ever deal with them again.

I love the food but I am taken back by the service I received there today. First I was hung up on then when I went to place an order they refused. I have sent many people out this way. That will be the last time I do this. Guess it's time to find a new spot to eat.

I read good reviews about this restaurant so decided to try it out today. I would like to give this place more stars however we only received part of our order when my husband went to pick it up. Approximately 15 minutes after he picked up the order I received a call saying that he was only given part of the order, he arrived home with only the egg rolls and the diced almond chicken. I had company for supper so didn't want to drive back to Cornwall to get the remaining part of the order as we live 20-25 minutes away. We did eat the egg rolls, which were delicious, but had to make alternative plans for supper. Our order came to $77. and we were offered a $45 credit which in my opinion was insufficient. I feel a little ripped off.

I went here (for takeout) because of the good reviews but I honestly cannot understand how those reviews exist at all. What a total waste of $35. Egg rolls over fried to the point of inedible and yet somehow have the texture of paste on the inside, sweet and sour chicken was way over sauced and beyond soggy, vegetable lo mein was absolutely tasteless. Terrible terrible Chinese food. Terrible food period. Won't return and will not recommend.

Find the pictures of the fried rice and that's all you really need to know. If that looks like fried rice that you'd get excited about, this is the place for you. Their Chop Suey is 95% bean sprouts and I assume there was an error (takeout order) because the Chow Mein was also this onslaught of watery bean sprouts. There is embarrassingly little meat in most dishes (even beef with broccoli) and a consistent, general lack of flavour across all dishes. There are some very strange reviews for this place on Google. To say this is the "best Chinese food in the ____ region" is hard to believe. The service was very good. Their insistence on masking in August of 2021 is a bit silly, but if that's what their demographic customers want, that's great for them. Oh well - you can't please everyone.

Excellent food. The best. They are busy on the weekends so if you are trying to place a phone order their line might be busy. But keep trying cause they're worth it. If they can't take your order it is because they are too busy not because they don't care.

Do NOT eat here! My mom also posted a review here, but I just wanted to say that there was WAYYYY to much MSG in the food! I went to bed that night after eating the food, and my heart was beating REALLY fast an fluttery, and it felt like it was beating out of my chest. I was also nauseous; I actually thought I was having a stroke or a heart attack or something. The food was also not that great anyways. Just thought I should let you guys know that if you actually care about your health, DO NOT eat here!

Love this place. I often drive all the way from Sherwood to eat here instead of getting Chinese closer to home, because these guys have really good, consistent North American Chinese food with always fresh ingredients. They don't use that gross fake meat. The service is good and the prices are very affordable. Best Chinese place in the Charlottetown area.

Terrible service!! This will be the third time they refuse to take an order. They simply say they are too busy. When you ask to speak to the owner, they tell you he will be angry. The owner doesn’t care, the staff doesn’t care. I’ve never been in to an establishment where customers are turned away because they don’t feel like filling orders. I can’t recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Worse service I every had at a restuarant. Was refused service cause I can't wear a mask due to medical reasons so they asked me to leave. How can you wear a mask and eat at the same time is besides me. I'll never be back there if that is what they do to people with a medical condition. They told me to have a nice day and I hope they do too until my lawyer gets the paperwork to them for a medical discrimination case. Didn't even deserve the one star rating

Terrible service. Just wanted to order take out but they wouldn’t answer the phones and when they did actually pick up they just set it aside instead of talking to me. I could hear them talking with other people instead of just asking me to hold for a few minutes.

I am so upset we used get are food there and it was good. But this time I ordered our food it was gross . I called to complain and the owner and he was very rude . Never going back . He asked for my bill I told him what I ordered he if I had my bill he could help me but the girl took the bill off the bag I went to explain he said no help you. how was I supposed give a bill when she took it .

Best Chinese food you'll ever have, and if you get there for the lunch special from 11-2, you'll get the cheapest, most plentyful amount of Canadian food you can imagine. Been going here for years and never had a bad meal.

Just moved to the area. Came hear because I heard so many positive things from family. Friendly service and good food. For what it is worth drive down the road to Matos Winery and get a bottle of Gamay-Noir. It went great with the meal.

Ordered a combo without red sauce. Received a combo with red sauce. I cannot eat red sauce due to a food allergy but they insist that I did not ask for no sauce - so no refund. I had to buy an entirely separate extra meal just to get what I ordered. Food was mediocre, if rating the food alone it would be a 4 star.
