The staff was amazing. The building and facilities were VERY clean. The fact that they didn't take anything except cash was a bit negative, but I had a bit of cash on me so no biggie. The food was reasonably priced ($11.95 + taxes for rice, chow mein, spare ribs, & chicken balls). BUT the food was VERY disappointing. The rice was just ok, and not seasoned well. The chow mein was more celery and chicken pieces, and not seasomed very well at all. The sweet and sour meatballs tasted great but it was mainly a tiny piece of chicken sureounded in a ball of batter. And the robs were just tough, and tasted freezer burnt. This is only my 2nd time eating at this restaurant. My first encounter was so good that I intentionally went back this time. After this visit I will probably not be returning.

My family went for mothers day! Service was great! Food was excellent. Some had buffet - they loved it. Some order from menu huge portions and taste was wonderful. Going back for fathers day. Worth the 2 hour round trip!

Used to be amazing for their buffet. Since covid food orders are quick and take about 15 minutes from order time. I've had issues with calling them as frequently their phone is off. When ordering anything with sauce need to make sure to say sauce on the side or your food might be soggy by the time it gets home.

No delivery. This is a huge dealbreaker for me. I’m not from Yarmouth (I was just staying in town and didnt have a car, I wasn’t going to pay for food along with $20 cab fare.) Every other Chinese restaurant that I’ve ordered from offered delivery, as all should. Also the service I received was not very polite which is also a second red flag.

Yummy food with lots of options. Takeout portions are HUGE. Egg rolls are perfectly done. Wonton soup is tasty and warm. Noodles and rice are great. Prices seem high until you look at the amount of food you are served.

I’ve been going to this restaurant for most of my life and the egg rolls are by far my favourite. Was very disappointed coming back recently as they have changed the recipe and they definitely are as good as they once were. Don’t change a good thing

I eat here periodically when visiting from Halifax and this place is amazing. The food is always fresh tasting and equal to or better than anywhere I would go in Halifax. I will always make stopping in a priority when I'm in the area. Keep up the good work Lotus Garden!!!!

Food is good but the trash piled up , especially around the front door, is a turn off. Disgusting. Makes me wonder about cleanliness in the kitchen. A broom, plastic bag and ten minutes would certainly improve the appearance.

Have tried to eat there several times and only twice got uncooked takeout. I do know a few people who like them. They do eat there at lease once every two weeks. Just try and stay away from takeout. When they do care about their food it is good. They buffet seems to be okay.
