I have spent thousands at this place over the years on parts I tried to order a $55 throttle cable for my skidoo this morning and they wouldnt order it without a credit card made me feel like a third world citizen guess I'll have to get my parts elsewhere.Just ordered through Reddins not a problem be here in few days and didnt need a credit card dont think I'll return any business to Daves.And no there was no talk of deposit wouldn't help me much I'm 55 minutes from u I can order online myself with a credit card I order at dealers to show support and to be able to buy with cash unfortunately for many dealers in town haven't figured out that many of their customers are country folk not just down the road.Speaking of being burned I bought a coil there that was supposed to be a plug and play jobby ended up having to change wire ends to make work but whatever it was done it's over be nice if a dealer had these parts in stock but never plays out like that I dont think you are being true to your customer

Needed stuff on Good Friday and messaged them on their Facebook page and even though they were closed, one of the owners met me there so I could pick up some chainsaw protective gear. This is also the place I bought my saw and they recommended the right product and it was put through the test and handled very well. Great service and good people. Will be back for more.

I called ahead to check to see if they had a snowblower belt that I couldn't find... even from the location I originally bought the snowblower. Dave's had it!! When I got there, with the Covid 19 rules and regulations in place, they were kind enough to let me pay over the phone and they placed my required parts outside. Dave's is my new favorite location to get ALL my small engine parts from!

They had the belt in stock, so although I thought expensive, I bought it but certainly not a friendly brunch (or at least the parts staff that I dealt with weren’t). A thank you goes a long way! I see the the owner is blaming me because I questioned the price. I didn’t say I was buying it online, I even said I know that it’s twice the price when you add in customs but the snotty attitude came out once I dared to ask. I like how you try to vilify me by accusing me of buying online / in the US. I looked up the price to see what I should expect. I even said I know it’s US dollars and customs is added on. The part that you say you have no control over is less expensive in Montague but they wouldn’t have it in until next week. My first choice is always to buy local but It really wasn’t even the price, just some common courtesy would go a long way.

50/50 or average. One good experience and one not so good. I was told by one DSR staff that the Stihl MS210, MS230 and MS250 parts were not interchangeable. The service manual lists these three saws because a large number of parts actually are. I researched this so I could buy a Stihl MS250 and use the same style MS230 parts from my busted saw. So this was misinformation. I had to go there on a differnent day just to get the right staff apparently. The second time I went to buy a saw as DSR an add drew my attention. On Kijiji a Husqvarna 445 at $383.99 is currently still there as are other falsly advertised saws. This sale was outdated 3 months according to the fyer on their counter yet the adds are still there and you will not find most of these because they were sold without updating Kijiji. If you post an add on any site listing an item for sale you are obligated by retail law to maintain these adds so no consumer feels the products are misrepresented. It is a patented legal product. Not replacing nor adjusting these adds makes it appear as though the company wishes to attract consumers on false pretense of a great sale. But when you get there you will pay full price which appears dishonest or at least negligent in that you will feel duped. I cannot see going back there for future service unless some changes are made.
