Have had ours now for almost exactly two years. It is very well built, also simple and clean looking. Expensive? Well definitely more than any of the plastic bins, but way more durable and effective. It is MUCH quicker at composting than any of the other plastic bins that I've had, and much more durable as well. Although it slows down a bit, it keeps on working throughout our relatively mild winters here in Victoria. We are looking to purchase a second one in the next month or so.
