I used Clay-Nor lawn care for services for 3 years, and Clayton was always easy to deal with, and his crew always did a fabulous job of mowing, trimming, and leaf clean up. Clayton makes sure you always know (roughly) when his crew will be there and sticks to the schedule. Plus he's quick to communicate changes that come due to weather changes, etc. I highly recommend Clay-Nor Lawn Care--rates are competitive, and the service + people are top notch. You're never disappointed and your yard always looks great.

We have had them doing basic lawn cutting and fertilization to tree pruning, installation of a rock garden, yard clean-up, snow removal, sprinkler system maintenance,etc. They have a great electronic invoice and billing system, and a person that schedules your projects that fit your schedule as well as follows up on jobs. Decided to give them a try, this past Spring, as I am very particular about the appearance of my lawn/yard, and was finding it a real struggle to keep on top of the care and time needed. Hired Clay-Nor for their fertilizer program and, initially, to mow for a month. I was so pleased with the care and diligence they took, that I hired them to mow every 2nd week to this time! In May we hired Clay-Nor to landscape our new yard from scratch. They did a rock retaining wall, flower garden areas, blue chip side driveway, lawns and irrigation system. Clayton stopped by frequently to check on things as the job progressed. The job came in on budget with no surprises. The crew was great, on time, personable and professional. A few weeks later Clayton stopped in to see how the lawn was progressing. Kevin, Clay-Nor’s Irrigation Specialist, was happy to come back and explain how to change watering times, etc for the irrigation system. We recently ordered another piece of landscape board and Clayton delivered it himself. We have also used their lawn cutting service which is very handy when we want to be away for a week or so. We've had other big-name lawn care companies do things for us in the past and have been disappointed so we were cautious and started with just aerating by Clay. Right away we saw how meticulously he works and he was so generous with tips on how to get our lawn back after the other companies essentially let it turn into a sparse, weed infested embarassment. His advice helped a lot but we thought our lawn was going to need replacing. Soon Clay was working for neighbors and in short order had their lawns looking great so we expanded our agreement with Clay and went with his specific program for our lawn based on his assessment. In just a year he and his team have restored our exsisting lawn to a lush thick deep-green carpet that just begs you to walk on it barefoot and has dramatically improved the look and value of our home. No embarrassment now! Guests actually comment on how nice it looks! We believe that Clay's results are a combination of the good equipment he's invested in, the quality of the products he uses, and the exceptional staff he now has working with him who, like Clay himself, treat your lawn and property with an attitude of ownership and pride in their work. True professionals. We also agree with other reviewers that the extra care taken with cleaning up and making sure gates are closed and privacy is respected go a long way in the experience. Finally, Clay and his team are just such pleasant people, other businesses could learn a lot about customer service from them. Hey, maybe Clay-Nor will expand to pressure washing, gutters, house painting...... Thanks Clay and staff!
