We have purchased 2 Stihl trimmers this spring. Both had issues withing the first month. 1 we took back after the 1st initial use. We were charged both times for repair work. The repair work were items that should have been working from the moment we recieved them.

Will never go back to this joke of a business,went to get my two saws serviced they called me with in a hour saying one of my saws was unrepairable and the other would cost over $600 to repair and I decided not to go with them. Went to pick up my saws the next day I was charged $143 to just look at them,they gave me my saws in over 20 pieces and the loser mechanic gave me attitude and a dirty look like he was someone important! Called two other shops one in Kitchener and Mississauga told them what I needed done both would charge under $400 this place is a joke bunch of thieves! People beware of this place don’t get ripped off like I did

Was really disappointed with vincent lawn and garden I took my husqvarna concrete saw in on a monday and asked that it be repaired by next week as I have a important job that I needed it for. I finally realized by Friday that they had basically done nothing and the parts were on backorder. Was basically going to charge me for parts I didnt need as it is a brand new saw. The lady in the front office told my wife that shes couldn't get the parts and the guy in the shop said they had the parts . I have never felt so screwed over and they just wanted my money. Zero customer service and were extremely rude to myself and my wife DO NOT GO HERE. THEY ARE CROOKS AND JUST WANT YOUR MONEY. YOU JUST LOST MY BUSINESS AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KKOW TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS and the to guy I dealt with today .....????????

Years of patronage and thousands of dollars spent through the parts counter at Vincent's. Today was my last visit. Each and every single time I have approached (well call him parts) parts in need of assistance, I'm met with an arrogant disrespectful attitude. Parts thinks "my job is to order parts not to do the homework for them". (His words spoken to me after a customer finished business prior to me in line at his counter) He is quick to roll his eyes, in a condescending "Iv been doing this for 25 years", stare. I'm done with asking for assistance from someone who in 25 years of service has very little people skills. I called the morning of my in store visit. Left a massage, the same detailed message I left a day earlier. Vincent's has yet to reply. For me to have to show in person to avoid being ignored as my phone calls were, then to be brushed off like I'm a dullard, unacceptable in today's retail world. No excuses. I called Apex, more than willing to help, found what I needed over the phone within ten minutes. Interesting that I was inquiring about a brand new Honda motor, his suggestion was to call Vincent's, a Honda distributor. I mentioned I"had not luck". I mentioned no other words, the reply from the service provider at Apex was, "did you get the grumpy guy at parts". Disappointing to say the least. Off to the big box stores for my other Honda needs. I wrote this review a few weeks ago. I have changed my star rating to one from two. I see the owner has replied in the past to negative comments about the service provided at the parts counter. The owner stopped replying to the negative comments, however replying to the positive ones. This shows me that the unacceptable behavior by the parts dept was to no longer be tolerated or accepted, however the problem persists and the owner is no longer addressing the issue or replying to the negative comments that need attention. This shows me where Vincent's as a whole stands.

Fantastic staff, helpful and knowledgable on small engines. I have a 30+year old riding mower that getting parts is a choir but the gentleman in parts always get the parts for my Briggs and Stratton engine. Would recommend Vincent Lawn and Garden.

I dropped in to Vincent’s last week for some advice on a zero turn mower. Mechanic Forrest took the time to help me out, Brad on the parts desk was excellent, helping me out with some spare keys at a reasonable price. Joan, and Sophie the guard dog, rounded things out for an overall good experience at this family-run business. These guys are the reason I keep returning to this shop for excellent service. I recommended Vincent’s to a neighbour last week who wasn’t able to find anyone to service his Stihl trimmer, without a three week turn around. He was in and out in 4 days and happy with the service. Keep up the good work Cliff and everyone!

First off, I am 50 years old and never have even held a saw, so purchasing one was a HUGE decision( Cliff said, never to late). Ended up purchasing an MS 250, they were all so informative and accommodating. My experience was for sure a MEMORABLE one, positive reviews just don't happen by themselves, whatever it is that you guys are doing, don't change. Went to see lawnmower for home use today after was recommended by a colleague! Went there close to closing time and was well greeted even after 5 pm! Am given 2 options and will decide whether it's a Cub Cadet or Toro! Got my eyes in the prize! Went to buy and was sold! Ended up buyinga John Deere from Lowes! Its fast like my Honda S2000! I settled for 42inch and able to go through trees!

Have a trimmer I bought from Vincent's 3-4 years ago. Was very impressed with the whole sales process at the time. Have had occasion to re-visit a couple of times and found the same high level of service. Like Bast Home Comfort, Vincent's get customer service. Not sure I would even look in a big box store for anything they sell as Vincen'ts are competitively priced and the service levels makes you feel appreciated.

Customer service can still be found. My husband took our snowblower in for winter service. After a couple of days the tech called him to let him know that some extra parts were needed and how much it would cost. When he went in to pick it up, they had it loaded in his truck before he even finished paying the bill. Great people and amazing service.

It has been a while since my last visit. I had always bitten my tongue with your parts employee. The condescending attitude and frustration he displays when we as customers do not come in prepared with a part number and he has to look it up is unacceptable. Clearly an ongoing problem that has not been addressed. I won't send my staff or patron myself at Vincent Lawn any longer. Not a great way to hear about disgruntled staff, however the other negative comments show a trend. Thank you for the reply.

After contacting several Honda ATV dealers in the GTA, Vincent Lawn and Garden was the most responsive. They were able to get the ATV model I wanted within 2 days. Cliff walked me through the basics of ATV operations and answered all of my many questions and personally helped load up the ATV onto the trailer. It was great experience dealing with Cliff and Joan. Definitely worth the drive to Cambridge!
