Bought a Japanese maple for $150. With no warranty available, and found out why a month later when it died from verticillium wilt. Verticillium wilt, has no cure and contaminates the soil for 7 to 10 years. Upon inspection, we noticed it had been cut back before we purchased it in numerous places which was likely to hide the disease. We will never purchased from a nursery that doesn't provide warranty again! This has been an expensive lesson that will take its toll on our front garden for years to come.
