When i was a little kid my dad use to take me here with my mom and we use to explore the entire area. My dad is a huge flower dude and couldn't stop loving it, ever day we went i felt like i saw the flowers grow as i did when i was young. I just recently went back here after 20ish years and it still amazed me. The only thing is that all the water was non existent, that threw me off. But other than that i really enjoyed it there. Cant wait to go back and have a special moment with my significant other.

Always well kept and pleasant. Lots of identified plants. A lot of plants and benches are donated in memory of. Lots of wedding pictures taken here. There are functioning fountains here. I have been going here most of my life.

I just adore this little treasure. I especially enjoy the serenity, an beauty of this place. This is one place I don't want to listen to music. I like to take in the sounds from the waterfalls and the birds and the wind. It's my go-to place. Just to get away, or to run away from the chaos in my life.

What a lovely sight! I enjoyed today’s afternoon exploring the gardens pretty flowers and trees. Lots of space to walk, take pictures, and relax. Few fountains and a little bridge that add more to the place. Just be aware of cars on both sides if you have kids. Love it.

The gardens and lawn are well kept and manicured. The way the flowers are planted and blossoming suggested that a lot of thought went into planning and planting the many different flowers. The blooms are mixed nicely and professionally planted and organized - well, they have a website and offers advice. It's a nice place to have a picnic and hang out with others.

Lovely gardens with lots of different flowers to enjoy, some water fountains and places to sit for a while. A perfect spot for a peaceful picnic, a photo shoot or a leisurely walk, and there are several Pokemon Go stops for the gamers, too!

Nice park for Kitchener with garden beds, oak trees, a nice small bridge with a blue man made water body with some fountains. There are some historical plaques around. Lots of cement type benches to sit on. Road parking is available here. There are about 3 water fountains with dragon type heads.

Nice place to see if going for a walk. One often sees other people taking pictures with their family. There are a few key spots: a walk bridge with water running beneath, colorful nature backgrounds made of fliwers, and a stone arch way. Thanks to City of Kitchener for the landscaping every summer! There are no bathrooms and it can hot so bring refreshments.

We are so very fortunate to have this horticulultral treasure in Kitchener. My gratitude and thanks to the staff who maintain it, city council for recognizing the importance of having flower gardens, trees, cascading water features and fountains to renew our souls, and the citizens who respect, take pride and love this precious space.

So nice here! Minus someone vandalizing it :( Love the path at the top back of the gardens and the little ponds one had tadpoles in it, pretty clean area I think it's kept up by volunteers. Nice walk and stroll area. Fountains and bridge overtook the little water area.

Rockway Gardens is a pleasant and beautifully calming place to take a stroll through. It's marred only by graduation / prom photos and Pokemon Go lurkers. One of my personal pet peeves is during one of the above gathering events is that people park on both sides of the road and it's I possible to get through. I almost wish they'd remove the road and reconfigure the park to accommodate the new space. I think this park despite the complaining I have done here, will be one of the things I miss most about the K/W area. It has been a favourite spot of family to take walks. Be sure to watch out for their sales as they sell bulbs / flowers periodically :)

Love the changes with the seasons but the Tulip filled Spring is my favorite. Water features, fountains, English garden (with annuals) & huge variety of tree (labeled with plaques,) absolutely beautiful.

How can I not love this garden ???? my husband and I eloped, using Rockway as our ceremony space. Absolutely amazing. Even after all the vandalism, they come back better! 20/10 recommend.

A place my parents would take us in the 1970s, magical then as now. A hidden gem of gardens, mature trees, pools, fountains and lawns, maintained largely by volunteers. A beautiful oasis in the growing hustle and bustle that is KW.

A beautiful little park that is very well maintained by the Kitchener Horticultural Society. I walk through Rockway Gardens almost every day and the gardens are well kept and constantly changing throughout the seasons. A great place to enjoy an afternoon with the family.

Such a gorgeous place I was introduced to today while getting professional photos for my daughter. Deffinitely the best place to go for posed natural photos as they have many different set ups. I will for sure be returning; it is stunningly beautiful and free to the public with walking paths and many places to sit and park.

There are a lot of plants I haven't seen, wild lychees, purple peppers, and weird red fruits. I arrived here in October. Many green plants have withered. It's no longer like pictures on the Internet. That's why I scored four points. The area of the park is not very large. It only takes about 20 minutes to browse the whole landscape. Generally speaking, if it's spring or summer, I recommend coming here to watch the scenery
