Nutri lawn over fertilized my grass and we paid for weed control. They did 1 treatment and we paid for 3. After the 1st treatment we never heard from them again. Me and my wife called numerous amount of times and they kept putting it off week after week. Worst experience. Save your money.

In the past this company has been great, But last year was not the case, I had asked that they put weed killer down on both the back and front lawns, This was suppose to kill the weeds. After two weeks the weeds were still present, I had notified them regarding this, they came out again, to re spray, this still did not get rid of the weeds, neither did the third time out. my friend wanted to try this company, They went to the wrong address , not hers, and ended up charging her for the service they had completed at someone else,s home.Hmm . I will be going to another company as will my friend. If you hire these guys it is best to be home when they come out to make sure they are actually doing as you want.

Pros: Fast response to calls and inquiries. E-mail and phone msgs letting you know when they will come out and service. Cons: I signed up for core aeration, overseeding, fertilizing and weed management. My lawn ended up in a worse state than not having a lawn care provider at all. The weed killers did not kill the weed and the only thing green in my yard are weed. My yard looks worse than all of my neighbours' yards. Nutri-lawn did provide suggestions on how to make my yard better via kelp treatment to deal with the draught but I did not go for it because the weed killer that I paid for wasn't working. At least they were fast in cancellation / refund when I asked for it.

Called twice to get a spraying (and even considered a lawn care package) done. Both times was told that they will call me back soon (first time they were supposed to call me back within a day, second time within 15 minutes). It didn't happen. Service begins in there. They just lost a client by simply ignoring the request. In my opinion, customers should not beg companies to do a job for them. It's a shame, because I heard good things about Nutri-lawn before, but didn't experience any first hand. And my bug problem is not solved. Very frustrating.

Have used this service for a year now and am happy with my choice. The weed control they do is excellent, dries up all the dandelions and other weeds completely. I also had them do the fertilizer as well which really helped thicken my grass. I have some trouble spots that they recommended I do an aeration and over seed on. I ordered the aeration (which was fast and done well) but did the seeding myself. Pricing it out against what they quoted was quite close to what I spent so going forward I would use their seeding. My only complaint is minor, sometimes it can be a bit of a wait to get a direct response from them but that wasn't every time and I'm guilty of that at work myself! Overall very happy I called them last year and will continue to use their service going forward.

We've had lawn troubles for years and even completely re-sodded it five years ago. We were thinking we needed to resod again next year and as a last-ditch effort to save our lawn, we recently called Nutri-Lawn. It's only been about seven weeks since I contacted them yet my lawn looks so much better. The trouble spots are 'healing', the lawn is greener and the weeds are gone. After seeing the results, I won't hesitate to call them again in the spring. I just wish I took before and after pictures to post to highlight the changes...

I have always received advance notification of upcoming visits as well as the summary report of their visit. I have never encountered any significant delays in service provision. They may cost a bit more than other companies but they do provide prepay discounts. I also really like being able to access my account online. Staff are very courteous and professional at all times. For the last 7 years I have an almost full package of lawn care including weed control, aeration, fertilizer etc. I also added the cinch bug treatment after the summer where everyone's lawns were affected, which is pricey, but my lawn has never been ruined by other animals digging in it anymore. Nutri-Lawn has always been so professional - Mike is usually my technician and is very nice and knowledgeable when I happen to be home and he's there. I am told frequently that I have the nicest lawn on the street. The administration staff always answer my emails quickly. When mother nature cooperates, this package is very much worth it. Nutri Lawn are my go to Company. Excellent work and staff. Initially I contacted Jim (Owner) as I had heard they had snow removal via blower. Their staff pay attention to detail, cleaned off my cellar entrance and both sets of steps. never had to remind them. Then I renovated the same older home downtown. They had been mowing the lawn and lawn care, so I went to them for my patio , building new gardens and laying trim rock. Beautiful job. Their staff gave good advice, rather than carting away the dirt excavated for the patio, it became the soil for the new built up gardens. When we discovered all the hewn stone where a driveway must have been, they got on board to use that stone for garden trimming and accent corners. Point being they are reliable, honest, hardworking and pay attention to the details to make it right for you. I still continue to use them. My go to Company in Fredericton.

I called Nutri Lawn two years ago for some cinch bug control (which by the way, didn't work at all but that's not my gripe). This year low and behold, I get a bill in the mail for $130 from them. I ask my wife if we requested service, I already knew her answer would be no as we didn't request any service. I call and talk to them and they say that the service re occurs until we cancel. This was never mentioned to me at all. The only evidence is a small section on the bill that also has typing written over it so its almost illegible. I tell them my frustration and pay the bill for this service and promptly tell them to cancel any future unrequested services. This was at a rental property we have. Then I get another bill for same services rendered at our primary residence. This one is less as the property is smaller, but now I'm ticked off as its the principle behind it. I don't believe this business practice is fair as its never mentioned prior to booking any sort of service. Just an illegible tiny spot on the invoice. They never phoned my prior to service, or even left a lawn placard. How do I know they even came???? A bill just showed up. I've asked for Managers to call me, but no response on their end. This was Nutri Lawn Cambridge.

Apparently Nutri Lawns policy is if I do NOT respond to a 2 renewal letters and 2 phone calls they go ahead and assume that I want their services!!! And will just send people to my house to fertilize my lawn! Be aware that you have to opt-out of their services. Which is crazy! This is not the way business works. If I ignore your renewal letters and your phone calls that means I do not want your services. I do not want a surprise charge from you for a service I did not request!!!. ESPECIALLY during a time when we are tightening up our budgets bc of job insecurity! The worst policy and way to do business!

Terrible experience. We hired them to handle weed control for one season in our new home. After their initial sales pitch and once we had signed on, it was very difficult to track someone down to actually have our lawn sprayed. Not to mention, their treatments did nothing. We were told that after 2-3 applications, most of our clover and thistles would be gone. Not so. After 3 applications and almost $300, our weeds are bigger and more widespread than ever. They even had the nerve to try to up-sell us on each visit when they weren't even managing to provide the service we were already paying for! Finally, their customer service is horrendous. They claimed to have called and left me voice messages when I am certain they didn't (I've checked all of my call logs). When I asked them to cancel my service (which is auto-renewed!), I was told that I would have to wait for them to process the request. Funny that it only took minutes to sign me up but to cancel takes days....and I'm still waiting. Hiring Nutri-Lawn was a big waste of money.

Unfortunately they never did the service I paid for. The core aeration was not done over the entire lawn and back area. The weed killer did not kill the weeds, in fact they seem to flourish. When I asked them to redo certain areas they asked me to wait another two weeks for the product to work when I was told it works in 48 hours. Then they promised to send someone stat. I am still waiting. Will NOT use this company again and not recommend to neighbours. Poor way to run a business.

This is the first year I tried Nutrilawn. It was tricky contacting them at first to speak with someone in my area, but once I was able to speak with someone in my area, I received excellent service. My neighbour receives Service from Nutrilawn and after a year of using them most of the weeds on her lawn was gone. So when I asked her who she used, she told me only great things about this company. She also told me about the referral program. When she refers someone she gets a discount and if the person who is referred sign up, they also get a discount. I thought this was great. I have had one lawn treatment so far because I started my contract late into the Spring, but I have seen a difference in my lawn already. Overall, great service for the price.

Paid $300 in May just for front lawn only and have been visited for service appointments twice. Weeds including dandelions continue to appear and have to be pulled manually....not a lot of value for the money in my opinion.
