I was impressed at the selection and knowledge of the staff. People complain about the prices but an independent family run business needs to turn a profit. I'd rather pay a little extra to see what I'm buying before I buy it. Do your own research! Nutrients are cheaper then Bright Light from what I seen. Today was my first visit of many more to come. If you think these prices are expensive, have you been on the OCS? ???? You can literally grow 20 pounds of cannibis for the price of 2 ounces on the OCS!

The store itself is spacious and there are so many interesting things to check out. Prices are reasonable and they have a massive selection of fertilizers, growing mediums and pots. One of the biggest and best indoor gardening stores I have ever visited. I will definitely be back again when I need to restock!

i kinda had the same kind of exp with them wasn't a tent was a ballast and they said it was FCC approved turns out it was a fake it was letting RH and interfering with all my electronics and my neighbors things as well. when i tried to ask for a refund they told me not to call here again. not thinking this is a very professorial place here and will be looking for a new vendor one i can trust... never doing businesses with them again. and your right dude there online site is messed up i tried to order it my self so i wouldn't have to go to the store. i'm in Hamilton so its not that far for me. anyways anyone who reads this or reviews this i hope you save your self the trouble buy any where eles do some research last thing you want it a knock at the door.. or you equipment to fail.

When I did have questions the Staff member (Owner?) answered them in great detail. Did not feel at any time that I was rushed, wasting his time or was being sold something I did not need. Prices were comparable to what you can find online. But with the added value of actually seeing the product and the ability to speak with friendly and knowledgeable staff puts Indoor Farmer well ahead of online stores. Wow. What poor customer service. Just getting started into hydroponics and already feeling ripped off. I recently went in to this store and bought certain items that were recommended to me to start a small hydroponic garden. I explained to one of the staff / owners exactly what my intentions and application would be. After I hooked everything up , I realized the pump they recommended was way to high of head pressure for this application. Upon mentioning this on my second visit there ( was planning on buying some grow lights ) I was told if it is used , NO RETURNS . I responded " How do I know it was going to work if I didn't try it?" He answered " should've done some research" Really? I ask the supposed experts to set me up on what I needed to accomplish this and that's your answer? I'll take my business elsewhere.

Too lazy to write reviews, but these Guys deserve this. I wanted a Gorilla tent, and every website in Canada that I went to showed it in stock, but when you called to enquire if it was really in stock, they all said it was back ordered. Tried to order the tent at other stores with free shipping, only to find out it didn’t qualify because of the weight. I sent a request to indoor farmer, and they would let me know when it was in stock. A few days later, I got an email advising it was back in stock. I gave them a call to confirm and at Indoor Farmer, when you call they answer the phone and any questions, “yes its in stock”, “yes the shipping is free”. They have an inventory system that actually works, if it shows in stock on the website, it’s there! Just ordered more stuff on Thanksgiving Monday, and it is arrived Wednesday. So far, I have delt with Andrew and Chris, the most helpful polite guys (must have had good parents!). Prices are very competitive, free shipping, prices are a lot cheaper then Amazon and the other flashy websites, and you don’t need a prime account to have your order in a couple of days from Indoor Famer. Strongly recommend these great Canadians!

Some people talk about 'great service'; of course people will treat you great while robbing you blind. Reminds me of those tv shows where the snake oil salesman charms everyone in town. Fact is, these guys are thieves and their 'help' is not help at all; make no mistake, this place is full of salespeople, not people offering 'growing advice'. First time customer, treated as if I knew nothing about growing. They tried to take advantage of me, attempting to sell me very overpriced items and telling me how it was the best choice I could make (light, fertilizers). I came home and looked up the actual cost of these items, and after seeing their profit margins I could understand why they pushed the following products on me. -An HLG 550 light is $1,520 + tax (for a single light!!) which is only $1,340 on the HLG Canada site...that's a $180.00 mark up on a single item that can easily be ordered online by anyone. In fact, thats even more than a $180.00 markup for a store because they get wholesale pricing. Almost a $200 mark up on a single item anybody can order online. No wonder this was the first item discussed. -Various other lights over $1,000 in cost, all LED. Not sure of the brand names of these others, but all the tattoo'd attendee's talk of "PPDF' and such jargon mean to impress was not impressive. I failed to see any live plants in there 'thriving off of the LED lights' as an example. Lights are conveniently displayed right next to a window, making determining light levels hard. Also noticed another LED light store in the same plaza; when I inquired about it they told me "oh don't go there, they don't sell grow lights". Meanwhile, many LED can grow plants. Another hint of dishonesty. -Fertilizers and 'amino acid bio-stimulants'; some of these small bottles of snake oil were well over $100.00 each for a small bottle from "Humboldt County Labs"...one each for veg and bloom? And $40.00 for 'mycorrizhae' from ProMix, which comes in the soil anyways so why try to sell me extra? One fertilizer kit they tried to sell me was over $300!!!! That was enough of that. I left without making a purchase and will not be going back. I guess somehow marijuana is different than every other plant I have ever grown? Snake oil salesmen. -Plastic netting was nearly $20.00??? I will stick with chicken wire. I have been farming for decades, indoors, outdoors and greenhouse. All I needed was a simple light (which does not need to cost over $1,000 to light the area of a kitchen dinner table), some soil, and a simple fertilizer. Somehow these basic items would have cost me thousands of dollars here (1,500 light + 300 fertilizers + 50 soil bacteria + 50 soil); I don't feel like being taken for a ride. After years of contracting, I can tell when I am being smooth talked and swindled. The products in this place were 90% gimmicks. Lucky for this shop that Victoria Street is under construction making the other local hydroponic shops harder to access. I visited Homegrown Hydroponics in Breslau and it was a completely different experience; they offered me what I needed at a decent price. None of that snake oil salesman stuff I experienced at Indoor Farmer. Be wary shopping here; they seem very genuine when trying to 'help you', when they are genuinely trying to line their own pockets and sell you things you don't need to grow weed.

A buddy told me they had a lot of different marijuana seeds here for this summer. He was right, they have a lot of them!!!! But they aren't cheap!! I went online and ordered from Seedsman - I got more than 3x the seeds of the exact same stuff for the same price (and a bunch of free ones!) instead of paying this store the $100+ per pack they wanted. The LED lights and grow-tents were super expensive compared to Amazon. The CFL bulbs they sell you can get at a hardware store for half the price (Home Depot right across the road). Everything is expensive. Do not recommend.

For the home growing people this is a must stop shop. Now let me make this clear there products can be expensive BUT it's TOP NOTCH equipment and they'll back what they sell. Can't ask for anything better. We have used products from dirt , root boosters , fertilizer , lights and tent. Not only do they offer superior products, but their customer service is beyond amazing. I am on my second indoor grow, my first one started at the beginning of covid. They have held my hand the whole time. If I have any questions, I send a email and Charlie replies with a detailed answer within 24 business hours. They don't only push products that they carry, if there is a product that is less expensive and will work better for me, they send me links to another company. Their reward program is awesome. I've gotten lots of free stuff. I cannot wait until they start workshops/ classes again.... have you guys thought about zoom? I would certainly attend. Any time I get extra cash, I think about the awesome stuff that I can buy at Indoor farmer. I love going to the store and looking every product and learning. Keep up the great work guys! Great experience with these guys after purchasing the Equinox 1000's and having them shipped to Calgary, Alberta (which was shipped friday afternoon at at my door by tuesday before lunch). So I’ve been growing for about a year and recently discovered this store, and let me tell you what an amazing store this is! This place is a growers paradise!! They have all of the top tier products that can be very hard to find in your average store and absolutely everything you could want/need to grow clean, high quality plants. On top of that, the staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I spoke with Roman there today and he was awesome! I love his no bs attitude and honesty and his genuine willingness to pass on his knowledge so that we can grow to the best of our ability. They even offer the ability to email them pics with any questions or concerns you may have with your current grow. And once you’ve made it to the finish line, they offer a service where they will test the potency and quality of your crop.
