We used this company thinking that they were gardeners and knew about plants and could trim back an over grown garden to restore it's former glory. From the moment they arrived they were dismissive of my comments and quite intimidating. Felt trapped in my house to scared to question them as they performed their gardening with strimmers and hedge cutters. They have taken out a huge number of legitimate and quite expensive plants that any gardener should have recognised. Shocked at how aggressive and unprofessional they were towards the garden and my sister who was trying to deal with them. Would not use or recommend this company ever again.

I had a contract with Cambridge Garden Services to do a full clearance of my garden followed by fortnightly maintenance. They cleared the garden beautifully and with no extra hassle. However, in our contract there were a couple of jobs that on the day the gardener and I agreed for them to be left for the first maintenance session. But suddenly, they decided to change the agreed-on price on the maintenance cost after the main clearance job and raised their offered price by 60%! As a result, I was not able to continue the regular maintenance with them and had to switch to another company. They didn't come to finish the two remaining jobs in the initial contract despite the fact that we had discussed them clearly before and despite the fact that I offered to pay for at least one session of maintenance with them to just finish the two jobs that I was not supposed to even pay again for! I found their customer service very disgraceful and disappointing.

Our garden was ruined by recent work to fix a collapsed sewer but within 3 days the team at CGS totally transformed it. New fence, dug out and cleared a completely overgrown area then turned over and relaid the lawn. Absolutely blown away by how much they got done in such a short amount of time. They also did a few extras here and there that weren't part of the quote. They went above and beyond when tidying up after themselves too. Highly recommended if you need any work. Thank you CGS!

Jo was brilliant to deal with. He was prompt with his responses to my queries. The garden belongs to a flat I rent out and it's a large space. It had been totally neglected for some years and was completely overgrown. The shed roof was rotting and the fences needed wood preservative applied. Liasing with my tenants was no problem. His team arrived on time, they were incredibly efficient, polite and tidy The garden was totally transformed with the minimum of mess. Including laying a patio. I really can't recommend this company highly enough. You will not be disappointed if you use them. They are extremely competent and priced well.

They are very quick to respond to questions, happy to provide quotes and can do a really quick turnaround. Jo and Saber are friendly and professional throughout. They knew exactly what we wanted and the tree looks brilliant and now lets so much more light into the garden and house. They were extremely punctual, and they did an excellent job - really impressive. They also cleaned out thoroughly afterwards. However – and that is my fault – I was not clear on what exactly their quote comprised (it just stated 'front and back garden'). I had expected the entire fence to be changed, for the sum we had agreed, but in fact they ended up doing only slightly more than half. To repeat, my fault for not checking that we were both clear on what was going to happen, and the job that was done was done beautifully, but it was also awfully expensive - I would have chosen a different quote if I had realised (I had received a slightly lower quote for the full fence - this time clearly specified as complete), but because I had liked the CGS when they cut our hedge, I went with them even if their quote was higher than the other. But then with the other maybe the job would not have been as good. So I would recommend them, but make sure that the quote details precisely what you are going to get.

Jo, Saber and Kras have done an excellent job on transforming our garden from over-grown weeds, a dead cherry blossom tree and a badly placed shed to an immaculately turfed garden with flower beds bordered by railway sleepers on either side. A water feature and patio area were done to a high standard. They listened to our feedback and incorporated it all to end up with a beautifully finished garden. We couldn't be happier with their professional work and courtesy shown throughout.

I fully recommend Cambridge Garden Services, run by Jo and Saber. They had done some small jobs for us over the years and we used them this autumn (2019) for a larger job. They were great. We nearly went with another company (cheaper) but i got cold feet when the chap turned up and suddenly was going to do things differently from my expectations. Jo and Saber came and "rescued" us and have done a super job which, exceeding our expectations in fact! Lovely people to work with.

Very disappointing. I found Cambridge Garden Service online and was impressed at how professional the website looked and the reviews they had received on Google. Arranged a time for them to come and quote a garden clearance/tidy and put up a new fence but no one came. Not only that but after calling and texting, I got no word from Jo until 3 hours after the agreed time, a brief text to reschedule to for the next day at 1pm. The next day, 1pm came and went and 1hr and half later, after again calling, I received a brief text saying that they would not make it. Staying in 2 days in a row to be let down belatedly by text and with no further contact to apologise or reschedule is not what I would call professional, or polite for that matter. I would not reccomend this company whatsoever.

My rather large garden had drastically taken wildness to the other level and was in desperate need of major taming. I contacted Cambridge Garden Services about my clearance needs which resulted in a prompt reply, garden inspection and decent quote. I was happy and impressed from the get go. On the day my garden was to be brought back under control, the guys turned up early and set to work: hedges trimmed, grass cut, beds sorted. The pair worked really well on a tough job. Although my garden will never be Main Avenue at Chelsea, it is once again a pleasure to be in, CGS revealing its beauty. Life’s too short to waste surfing Google just get on and contact this company!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They decimated my garden by stripping it back MUCH further than requested. My poor beautiful and lush garden is now almost bare. Plus they didn't do all of the jobs they quoted for and were unwilling to do them when questioned, even though I showed them written proof of what they'd quoted for. When I questioned them on it and said I didn't want to pay them the full amount they used guilt and emotional blackmail to make me pay. I'm shocked that they are a legitimate business and urge you not to do business with them!!!!!

I am very happy with the new concrete fence installation and ivy removal by Cambridge Garden Services. I myself is a keen gardener but the overgrown ivy over my shed and the adjacent building seems like daunting task for me to tackle. So I engaged the professional help of Jo and her team to tackle the ivy problem, they did a marvellous job in removing the ivy, a truck load of them and I gain my garden shed back. The new concrete fence also looks wonderful and of good quality. I find that Jo and her team is very easy to work with, punctual, polite, helpful and also go beyond the extra miles in tidying up my overgrown garden and let the sun shines through. I just wanted to say what an amazing job Cambridge Garden Services did on my garden last week. I had literally done nothing to it for the last year due to the current situation with Covid so it was really overgrown and scruffy. They came in and removed all of the weeds from the path, dug over the flower beds, pruned several large hedges and mowed the lawn on both the front and back of my ground floor flat. I was very, very impressed with how quickly and efficiently they carried this out and their customer service was brilliant. They were also extremely tidy and took all of the green waste away with them, so I was left with a great looking garden with no mess to clear up. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs any garden work carried out for their workmanship, service and value for money.
