My wife and I decided to purchase a truck just before the pandemic hit. Bennett's was our first stop after being recommended by a friend. We visited at least another dozen dealerships after Bennett's. Most used high pressure sales tactics and one even kept our licences until we agreed to make a purchase at a future date. Megan at Bennetts, was the complete opposite. We took our time test driving vehicles and were given all the time we needed to make our decision. The sales process was quick with no pressure involved. The vehicle was spotless when picked up and after sales service completed in record time. Repeated follow up by Megan on our new to us GMC Diesel 2500 has been exceptional. We spent more than we had planned and would do it again in a heart beat because of the exceptional service provided by Megan. We have been recommending Bennett's to anyone that will listen and will continue to do so.

I had a good experience with Andy in sales and Nicole in finance and that's where it ended. I ended up buying a vehicle on the information from the support staff (relayed to sales) that certain features weren't available for my specific model. I was told that the tow/haul option on the transmission wasn't available for my specific model even though the website advised it was. Once I received the vehicle, the 3M guard was not put one even though I paid for it and I was given a 4 pt connection instead of the detailed 7 pt connection for my trailer on the tow package. I had to return my vehicle to have that corrected being promised a loaner vehicle would be made available to us. My wife showed up to reception, who in turn pointed her to the service department, who in turn advised her that they had no knowledge of the arrangement and made no effort to find out who arranged it for us even though my wife mentioned Andy's name to them. Although my wife was given a lift to work, she was stranded without the promised vehicle. Andy in sales came to the rescue to ensure my wife had a way back home however at the end of the day. During that time, I discovered by the instrument display on the dash board that tow/haul was of course an available option after all. I can't honestly recommend Bennetts in good conscience after the experience I had with a $50k automobile. There is more behind the scenes that went on that I don't care to ramble on about. Unless you're dealing with Andy and Nicole from beginning to end, you'll be disappointed.

Dorchester to Cambridge for a used dream truck! Met by a staff that are all courteous and pleasant! Found my used 2019 GMC 4x4 canyon Purchased it to find a couple of problems. On march 16th 2021, I brought my company truck in for its yearly health inspection with some concerned (and later to be confirmed) issues with the front end steering components. The Truck passed Bennetts "vehicle health inspection" TWICE (after I requested another look on march 19th 2021) I was then denied a 3rd inspection after again raising my concerns (with no resolution). For my safety and those around me on the roadway, I took It upon myself (at my own cost) to have this situation/concern re evaluated at another Certified GM location immediately. That location confirmed (on march 22nd 2021) that my truck was infact unsafe with loose passenger side upper and lower balljoint play, unserviced brakes, and a list of other health concerns. thankfully these repairs have been made by the other dealership and have yet to receive an apology or acknowledgment for this error. (pictures of completed work to follow)

Nicole Gallinger, Financial Services Manager, put together the BEST GM extended warranty deal of ANY dealer in the province. I offered my business to 60 dealerships. She was the only F.S. manager who offered a fair, GM Canada standard transaction. Kudos to her and the dealership for their honesty and fair dealing. If you are looking for honest dealing, Bennet is head and shoulders above the competition.

One of the worst experience at a Dealership today. The service Advisor (no idea) if was knowledgeable or not, didn't provide proper information about A/C servicing and just handed over a 400$ invoice. When asked question was provided a 10% discount but when asked for a Manager, that Gentleman - Service Manager, no idea what ego he had, advised cannot do anything, if cannot pay for A/C since its a expensive part will remove the A/C unit from the car and asked for the keys. When requested to speak to his Manager, he advised he is the Boss and owner of the Building. This is not customer service....finally we were done with Bennette GM - just paid the Invoice. Never are we going back to this place where they have no courtesy or manners. Happy to provide more info to anyone about our horrible experience. Already raised a complaint with Chevrolet/GM Canada...

I recently purchased a 2017 Sierra from Brett at Bennet GM. Of the 8 dealerships I visited in the research of my vehicle Brett provided the highest level of service. I was switching from a small car to big truck and with that decision came a lot of "testing" how a truck would fit in my life. Brett was highly supportive and yet low pressure as I had various questions and trials with the truck. Brett happily indulged all my concerns and questions over a 4 week period while I became comfortable with the purchase. There was never pressure to decide or make the purchase. Recently bought a used vehicle here. Things are running a bit differently due to Covid but James in the sales department was great to deal with. I contacted Bennetts in Cambridge, 200 Km from home, because they were the only dealership offering the car I wanted in the colour and specifications I'd decided upon. Following my initial enquiry, Ashley sent me a five and a half minute video, giving me a comprehensive overview of the car. I was sufficiently impressed to travel to Cambridge to view the car in person. The car was beautifully prepared and immaculately presented and was in a different class from others I'd viewed at other dealerships. I knew immediately this was the car I wanted. Ashley and her colleagues in the dealership continued to be exceptionally attentive and helpful throughout the buying process and, even after the sale, continued to check in with me from time to time to ensure that I was happy with my purchase - which I am - 110%! Although it seemed a bit excessive to travel 200 Km to buy a used car, I'm very glad I did and I would do it again for the outstanding service and superb quality of the used vehicles on offer.

Overall my experience at Bennett Chevy was a positive one. Lindsay was great! One area I'll offer that could be improved was in financing. I was pressed for time and requested a credit application be emailed to me for completion, for some reason this couldn't be done. In the end it was done over the phone. I recommend this be an option available for customers. Other than that, I'm very happy with my truck and would definitely purchase another vehicle from Bennett's in the future.

Really liked Bennett Chevrolet as they were prompt, courteous, and efficient and always kept their promise on what they said they would do. Bennett Chevy made my ordeal easy as the other Chevy place in Brantford never even returned my phone calls. My Service Consultant at the time, Jessica L., was the go to person for questions about service and parts, and even some hairy questions involving RIV for answers! Had a complete checkup done and brakes replaced, emissions test completed through them, and a headlight modification done for Canadian Safety Standard compliance. It's a shame I am a distance away, as I would bring my car here to have it serviced anyday over the dealership I have to go to now.

While their mechanics are generally competent, their customer service leaves a LOT to be desired. Between not being prepared for the brake service, and having to order the pads and rotors that should have already had ready to go, they still haven't learnt how to wash a car properly in the few years since I brought my last car there. Given their shop prices, and being a flagship Cadillac dealership, I expected better and I highly recommend going elsewhere if proper customer service is important to you

Service adviser lured me in for some warrenty work lied saying it wouldn't be more then two hours then tried to charge me 130$ if it didn't need any work done. Wasted 3 hours of my time! I had the worst customer service experience of my life at Bennett GMC last night. I would like to say that Megan and the financial advisor we great, very polite and respectful. My experience with Brett Smith the "manager" was very regretful. Wasted 3 hours of my life i will never get back. He was very rude, disrespectful and arrogant. He believed he could fool us into accepting a final sale for a vehicle even if our 2 simple conditions were not met. When we asked for an out on the contract he became very upset and angry and told us to get out. I will not get into details of all his actions as it will be a long read but Brett Smith should not be working at any dealership let alone be a manager. His actions and service was inexcusible and would never recommend anyone to step foot in this dealership.

4 years ago I purchased a used 2015 Silverado from Bennett's and in 4 years I had zero problems and loved my truck. I decided to trade it in for something brand new and decided on my 2021 Malibu LT Midnight Edition which I picked up Thursday March 25th.....sounds simple right?.....let me explain... Over the past year I was always trying to upgrade to a new truck so I met with Tony for the first time and discussed the Trucks as well as the financing....we did this twice and both times I found them to be out of my budget....Tony on both occasions was happy to help and was very patient with me and when I found the Malibu there he was again going through all the test drives and trade in red tape with nothing but a smile on his face. When I came to pick up my new car Tony had had it detailed and waiting in the Show Room for me and when i first saw it I got a bit emotional...I was completely overwhelmed. The attention to detail of every aspect of this purchase was over and above what I expected....so satisfied and happy. Now nobody enjoys spending money in these COVID days so being strict to a budget is essential which brings me to Suzanne ....the Finance Queen with out whom I couldnt have done this deal. Not only did she get me the financing I needed but got me the lowest interest rate Ive ever had and had it approved in hours not days...she is awesome! I don't often write reviews except in the case of exceptionally great or exceptionally poor service. I have had a number of bad experiences at Bennett that I will itemize for any prospective customers looking to buy a car or take a vehicle in for service. 1. Sales: I went in to buy a vehicle and bring a trade in. Given the COVID circumstances, I was told no cars were really available but if a midsize vehicle became available, I would be contacted. I returned a week later for an unrelated matter and got talking with a different salesperson who told me that only a few days ago, they had several Equinoxes come in and they had gone as quickly as they came. I was put off by the fact that I wasn't contacted and said as much to the salesperson. This second salesperson apologized for my bad experience and then didn't even give me a card or take my information to rectify the initial bad service. That was twice now, two different sales reps that passed up an opportunity to sell a car to me. I purchased a new vehicle from another dealer the next day. 2. Service: A few days ago I took my (NOW NEW) car in for service because the sprayers for the windshield washer fluid weren't working. Not only did they not fix the problem or even address it at all, they took it upon themselves to do a semi-annual inspection of my vehicle which I didn't ask for and it ended up taking close to 2 hours FOR SERVICE I DIDN'T ASK FOR. Their techs were also unable to tell if a service on my breaks had recently been done, not confirming that they needed service or didn't need service, the tech just couldn't tell, so they suggested I get that done also while I was there. Probably my worst customer service experience I have ever had a dealership.

I purchased this truck about 3 weeks ago with Anthony and he did an excellent job however this is for the service part of the shop . I am sitting here in the waiting room still for my truck as I had a flat tire and booked it yesterday for my time slot and I got here at 10 am and it is 12:10 and it still is not done. Did they tell me something went wrong ? No . I had to go big then about it. I run my own construction business and this is time out of my day. I could have just paid the 30 dollars at another shop to get it fixed and not been out 2 hours or work at 60 an hour. They said it was hard to fit me in but I booked it yesterday. Not impressed. Communication is key. Also this is the only review I have ever wrote in my life but maybe this will get the point across to not mess with other people's business. Time is money .

Sadly the production was date was extended due to COVID but I’m happy to say I will be receiving my order in the coming weeks which is actually ahead of their originally scheduled build date! Many, many reasons for this 1 star rating; 1. I paid for work that was never completed on the car. How do I know this? I brought my car in because the ABS light was coming on so it was due for service, so I brought it in for a multi point vehicle inspection and oil change which would include and is on my receipt for a tire rotation. Great right? Well here is where the work not getting done was caught and cost them money and my time in the long run. I had a flat tire which was replaced with the wrong size tire which was causing the sensor to throw a code and cause ABS to fail. IF the tires were ever rotated they would have noticed the wheel speed sensor would have read a different speed wherever the tire would have been rotated to. 2. Had multiple "DEXOS" oil changes, I have a concern that it was not the correct oil being used. As my car is a Diesel it requires DEXOS 2. After completing my own oil change with DEXOS 2 oil the engine acts different as if it were new, never had that feeling after having an oil change from there. 3. Never informed about missing splash shield where changing of oil takes place or not replaced after getting an oil change. I was told this was missing by Valvoline Oil Express and seen it when I did my own oil change. I have not had experience of buying a car from here, but if it is as shady as my experience with work not being complete that was paid for, stay clear, there are many other dealerships out there. UPDATE - 1 Week after the "Owner" said Chris would be in touch still no contact other than to book a service appointment, for a vehicle I don't own. If you want to know how to improve your processes it starts from the top. Something is clearly broken here.

I recently went into Bennett for an express oil change. I always use Bennett for my auto service since I purchased my vehicle with them over a year ago. As always, they were very efficient although being a Saturday, it was busy for only one staff member working to get everyone serviced as well as deal with cash etc. Mike, the service consultant did a great job of making sure the oil change was completed and only offered me what "extra" was needed...in my case a very inexpensive rear windshield wiper. I take my vehicle to Bennett because I trust that they will only sell me what is truly needed. I have only ever had very good service from the staff at Bennett.

I would just like to write how disappointed I am with how I have been dealt with today. In May of this year I purchased a used Cadillac SRX, when I test drove the car the battery needed to be boosted. In our discussion with the sales person Anthony Zanette he assured me that the car once ready to be picked up would have a new battery installed. When I picked up the vehicle I confirmed with Tony that the battery had been replaced and he assured me that it had. Today I could not start my car as the battery was dead. I called the service department and asked if the battery had been replaced when I purchased the vehicle, I was told that the battery had never been replaced. My next conversation was with Tony the sales guy, he did remember me but conveniently had no recollection of replacing the battery. He told me to bring the vehicle in to the service department, as I couldn't start the car I asked how I was supposed to do that, he asked if I had CAA. I hung up the phone out of frustration. I am not impressed at all with the after care and will never shop here in the future.

Came to the dealership on Saturday afternoon, April 21, 2018 to ask about the availability of Buick Regal. The receptionist sent me outside to where they are parked. After spending some time searching, I returned to the receptionist, who informed me that actually they have no Regals and asked if I wanted to talk to a salesman. I agreed and went to the customer waiting area. After a 10 minute, I returned to ask the receptionist what is happening and was told all sales people were busy. I was also told that probably nobody will help me. Very surprise, I left. Once home, I decided to write this review. Buick is trying to gain new customers. The Regal looks like a winner. But you need good people to sell cars and help customers. The Bennett dealership appears to lack in this aspect. I doubt very much I would ever give them any business.

I've had to take my 2008 Equinox in for service a few times and each and every time, I am met with excellent service. One time last summer, I didn't realize I'd drained the battery and tweeted out for help. They responded within minutes via social media, followed up by a phone call from someone in the service department. They walked me through everything I needed to do to boost the battery. I recently bought a Certified Pre-Owned Sierra from Bennet GM, Craig Eccles (think I spelt the last name right) was my the salesmen who I dealt with and he was great! I originally came down for the test drive and he had to stay a bit later to wait for me, I ending up saying no to it that night and he was super understanding and not pushy at all. Glad I took his card because I ended up contacting him a couple weeks later and wanted buy it. He made things really simple. Also, when I went to the dealer to pick it up I forgot my plates. I felt bad for wasting his time but he was super understanding again and offered to drive it down to me (an hour away). We ended up meeting halfway and I have since been super happy with the truck! I would recommend Bennet, and ask for Craig if you're looking for a used vehicle.

My wife and I got a Jeep Cherokee from here 3 years ago and it has been nothing but problems. Every 3-6 months we have had to bring it in for the same problems. After the 3rd visit to Bennett when they said they fixed the problem and let my wife leave the lot in an unsafe vehicle that broke down again less then 4 blocks away we decided to try another dealership. They found multiple problems that the people at Bennett completely ignored and now I have 2 major repairs that could have been easily avoided if the service staff did what was asked instead of putting on a bandaid and price gouging customers. In short the service staff was very rude, yelling that I couldn't possibly know what was wrong with the car, put us in an unsafe vehicles where others could have been hurt, charged me 3 timea for the same problem and still didn't fix it. DO NOT go to Bennett for a vehicle. They will do everything they can to make you come back for more repairs. Never using these people again

On feb 24/20 I brought in my brand new 2019 GMC Canyon for my first service which consisted of oil change and 100. point inspection. I emphasized when I made the app the week before that I needed to get it in early because I had meeting out of town. I dropped the truck off at 7:30 am sharp to ensure it was completed in time. The service adviser said they would need it for 1.5- 2 hrs which seemed excessive for a oil change, but whatever I planned to get a shuttle back to the office and still gave myself enough time to make the meeting. I never heard back from bennett after 3 hrs and eventually called them in panic to get my truck, yes 3 hours later for a oil change only to find out that it wasn’t even in the shop yet. I called the service adviser quite upset and she said they would get it in right away but didn’t have time to complete anything other then just the oil if I wanted it ASAP. So when they finally called that the truck was ready it was 4 hrs , and I missed my meeting that was critical for my job. Keep in mind I bought this truck new from Bennett months earlier. This is by far the worst dealership that I have EVER encountered. Save yourself the grief and aggravation and shop somewhere else. Yes 4 hrs for a friggin incomplete oil change .....

If I could rate them a 0 If I could. I had special coverage for my Chevy Cruz for an engine problem and booked an appointment to get it fixed, they told me it would take 1-2 hour to diagnose. I scheduled the appointment accordingly so I can work after. When I got there they then mentioned I had to pay 139 for a diagnosis and that they won’t have the diagnosis until the afternoon. They wouldn’t provide a rental either. Never experienced such poor customer service due to a lack of communication, and no one taking responsibility. Your phone conversations need to be recorded and employees need to take responsibility. Overall this dealership Needs better management.

The best dealership, period. It all started with THE AMAZING Kate that literally went above and beyond (no place for Land Rover here) my expectations of a good salesperson. She is very customer centred, making sure what you want to buy is right for you. Never have I encountered such salesperson with that kind of approach. She even went an extra mile and spoke to her manager, (special thanks to you as well) Adam just so I can get the truck I really wanted, and I finally did get it! But it was just half the battle. I just found the perfect place for me to buy GM vehicles and in fact, I already recommended it to my family and friends!

I brought my truck in for repair here and I have never had such poor service and such poor mechanical work completed on my truck. Originally I had brought my truck in for the brakes to be repaired, and that was my first mistake. The brakes after the first time they worked on the truck were never completed correctly; it took them another four attempts to properly repair the brakes on my vehicle. For the duration of these repairs I felt that my vehicle was not safe, and they kept insisting everything that was completed was correct. It wasn’t until GM Canada go involved everything was completed correctly by another dealer. Buyer beware do not take your vehicle here for service if you value your life as the mechanics are not that great, the service manager isn’t there to help you, and staff are not friendly and are always up-selling services.

Brought my truck in for a recall issue. Unfortunately they dident have the parts on hand and had to ship them up from the U.S. It happens it's not the end of the world. So it was gonna take a few days to get the truck fixed so they set me up with a rental for free fixed my truck when the parts got there and left my with a big fat bill of 0 dollars. Thanks Bennet for looking after me I'll definitely be back and definitely will recommend you guys to others.
