We took a lot of time checking out the hanging baskets and planters before making our purchase which cost $150.00. We asked all the right questions in terms of watering and care and followed the instructions carefully, checking the plants morning and evening to be sure there was enough water to accommodate the size of the planters. Within 10 days the flowers were progressively dying. The beautiful arrangements now looked horrible. We called Belgian Nurseries AND provided pictures of what was left of our $150.00 purchase requesting a credit which we did not get. The response was back and forth...too much water...not enough water...too much sun...not enough sun. We are thoroughly disgusted with the lack of understanding and customer service we got in return and will never recommend this nursery to anyone and needless to say we will never shop there again. Please note this is not coming from a person who has ever reviewed a company in a negative way before and nor is it coming from someone who had careless disregard for the product. These flowers were being well looked after and shame on Belgian Nurseries for not standing by their product! The one star represents the only one week the flowers survived.

Very disappointing service. After spending lots of time picking out a healthy succulent and finding a matching pot, I made my purchase and asked if it could be repotted. I was told there’s a fee for repotting, which at first I didn’t mind, but once I found out the guy who repotted it simply took the plant out of the old pot and dropped it into the new pot I became very frustrated. Not only do other nurseries offer free repotting service, but they also do a proper job. Why charge for repotting when all you do is something the customer could have done on their own? I do not recommend this place and needless to say I will not be coming back.

Belgian Nursery is a tad more expensive for their plants and flowers compared to other plants that you may see around. With that being said though, their selection is far better from what I have seen at other nurseries. This is my first year gardening and attempting to keep plants alive, and the staff was more than helpful with all of my questions. A lovely way to spend an afternoon.

Terrible place, every time I go here to buy one thing, I leave with 10 other things I didn't realize I also wanted prior to my visit and NOW they have a loyalty points program?! I drove here from Oakville yesterday on a whim and I'm so glad I did. Absolutely beautiful nursery. HUGE selection of pots, all kinds of fun décor at incredibly reasonable prices. The tropical area is a little tight but it's a testament to how great this place is. So much variety in plants and everything looked so healthy. The only places I've ever seen small bougainvilleas (we like to bonsai them) and they cost very little compared to nurseries in the GTA. Great selection of succulents at decent prices as well. I was completely floored by the Cacti and Succulent house - it honestly feels like they should be charging admission with all of the beautiful walkways and massive specimens. If I'm this impressed in the middle of winter, I can't wait to come back in the spring when everything is in full swing!

Best nursery I've been to in KWC area so far. I drive half an hour to get there now! Very large selection. Everytime I go thinking of a new plant ive never come across... somehow they have those EXACT plants on front row display haha. WEIRD!! Love this place. Cacti and houseplant central. I like that they have most of the baby versions of their large expensive houseplants; gives you the option to grow it yourself, see what the full grown adult looks like, or start off with a mature well rooted adult plant.

I was really excited to go back after they were closed for a couple months, and was not disappointed. The greenhouse feels a lot more open and airy with lots of spaces between aisles. I really appreciated the hand sanitizer stations throughout and the directional arrows. The local artisan area features pottery and other art made locally, which is pretty cool. The plant selection was fantastic, it looks like they've got some new vendors bringing in some of the more trendy plants these days, including many varieties of philodendron and haworthia.

Great selection of plants and prices were reasonable as well. This was my first visit and I was very impressed by the selection... Everything from flowers, cactuses, succulents, vegetables, small to large planter arrangements and hanging baskets. I went in not knowing what I wanted to put in my garden and I left inspired with a flat of Pansies, some Lemon Coral and cactuses and sunflower seeds because my kids really wanted them thanks to Plants vs Zombies lol. I saw lots of great vegetables like tomatoes, peppers and asparagus plants that had already been started. I'll go back sometime in May to get all my olants for my vegetable garden. The main part of the store with the cashiers are has these beautiful wind chimes and various Garden decorations. There was also fresh cut bouquets also priced reasonably. We had such a great visit I'm looking forward to going back.

This place is huge! One of the biggest and best garden centres and nurseries I've ever been to. I visited primarily for the succulents and cacti and was not disappointed. Their cactus room was huge and had so many different types of succulents that I had not seen for sale before. There were so many in so many different sizes. It was amazing. By now, I guess it's considered end of the season, so a lot of the greenhouses were empty, but there were still plenty of plants. The place is so big that even if only a fraction of their space is occupied, their selection is already on par with big box stores' garden departments. I'm interested to see how their stock changes because they're open all year round. They have a lot of good specials and the prices are good relative to other garden centres I've visited. It's right by another nursery, Grobe's Nursery & Garden Centre, so we visited that afterwards. But Grobe's is a pass. Belgian is amazing. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a visit.

This is a great spot, with extensive quality plants. If you’re looking for something specific (like roses) you may want to call first to ensure they sell what you’re after, but their selection of houseplants and cacti is the best you’ll find in the area. They also have a great selection of annuals and perennials in the spring. And oceans of poinsettia plants when Christmas is on the way.

One of my favourite nurseries. Unfortunately, the only downside is they are one of the only nurseries in Ontario that are NOT dog friendly (except for service animals). I like to bring my dog along for plant-y adventures in his pet backpack/carrier, so i was a little upset that he couldn't come with and that he had to stay in the car. That's probably on me for just assuming they would allow dogs like other nurseries. However, I do wish they had this info more accessible on their instagram or website as I could not find anything regarding this, hence the lack of the fifth star.

It was my first time in and I had lots of questions that probably sounded silly. There was someone on the floor (Caleb?) Who was super nice and took me on a little tour and gave me some nice advice, when I return I will for sure go back to him. Everything was laid out well and was very pretty, seemed reasonably priced. I would have left a 5 star but the girl who was working as a cashier didn't have a nice vibe, made me feel like I was bothering her by shopping there. Could of been a bad day for her or maybe she just hates plants, who knows. Would recommend to anyone.

This is a wonderful nursery and could be considered plant heaven. It is one of my favourite places and even though I’ve been going to belgian for years, the moment when I walk through into the greenhouse always feels so magical and makes me so happy. This is pretty much the only place I’ve been going to during covid and it’s the only place I need (other than the grocery store). The plants are wonderful, lush and beautifully taken care of, can’t recommend this place enough :)????

An amazing selection of flowers, and especially succulents and cactuses! I could not believe the size of the building and the amount of very healthy plants in all variety of sizes. They also had some very massive and beautiful cactuses and plants that weren’t for sale but were amazing to see. The variety of succulents and cactuses was great as well, many species and types to choose from. The also had many indoor friendly plants in a variety of sizes. They have a small selection of basic herbs but they did say that they have ore vegetable plants come April/May. They have a large selection of basic and intricate pots and planters, one for any style. I would recommend anyone to go there if Even to have look around!

Wife bought a dragon plant that apparently is poisonous to cats. Called a few days later asking to exchange for another cat friendly plant, but would not allow an exchange for any reason. Policy seems unreasonable in this case. We won't be back.

Really enjoyed our visit. The cactus area was amazing. Never seen anything like that before. Enjoyed browsing all of the facility and picking plants as we went. Thank you for not putting up stupid rules as your competitor down the road. We will pick you over them any day! PS-My kids loved the pond!

Been there few times different thing. From grass stuff, flowers, pepper plants, tomato plants. The staff well knowledge. Honestly couldn't better places. Keep up the good work even during cvid you guys rocked.

It is a great place to buy plant & pot because of a wide range of selection. I bought a plant that I was looking for in April 2018. I was not sure about the shift manager interaction with me. I think her name was Mary or something in that line. She came to help me for selection of an expensive plant. I thought that she was incomprehensible. I am a mature person with professional role as statistician in which we look at procedure in detail. I was just wondering about why I received such a behavior.

I was very disappointed when I got there to find out they no longer have fresh cut flowers. It was always my place to go to get beautiful cut bouquet for my parents grave site. When asked I was told they haven’t had them for 1 1/2 years but I did get some last year. I thought they would at least send me to somewhere where I could get some but that wasn’t offered. When looking at the website there is no mention that they have discontinued the fresh cut flowers. I hope they will reconsider getting them back.

I love this nursery. It's the best place around for house plants and open all winter so it's easy to get away from the winter blues. Once late spring roles around I can't believe how many perennials and veggies they have! I just can't get enough Belgian. ????

Never disappointed with this place. When we were kids, our mom used to take us on little 'field trips' to this place to see the cacti and the resident birds. Great prices on the plants, especially the small 3-4 inch pots. (I like to start small so I can watch them grow!) Plants are always in great shape, and I've never had a problem with pests. If you find an excuse to go, you'll be leaving with a lighter wallet (lol). I think I own at least 10 plants from here that I love. Gotta catch em all!!

I want to say I emailed them asking for some information as I am not in the very close to them and wanted to find out if they had a specific variety and vendor. I really didn't expect an answer as I am in the flower industry as well and know what a crazy time if year this is for them. I had a response back with details of what they have and availability. I called the nursery looking for a specific plant. The employee who answered put me on hold to go find out if they had what I was looking for. I was unsure about the size and look of the plant, and I asked if there is any chance they could send me a photo. The employee offered to email me a photo. A few minutes later, I received a detailed email with multiple photos describing the size and details about the plant. It was so helpful! I did end up visiting the nursery to browse, and the staff working were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful during my visit. I always love visiting Belgian, and today the staff went above and beyond my expectations.
