I don’t get all the bad reviews. I visited pretty much all the nurseries in the Lower Mainland and Valley. If you want all the hands holding and touchy feelings, may as well go to Garden Works. This is not a place for noobs. They have amazing selection, prices, and most importantly the seedling are super healthy! The staffs are attentive when you need them. They don’t have an army waiting to hold your hands. It doesn’t scale for a seasonal business to staff professional gardeners to help answer questions you can Google. Be realistic.

Bought some beautiful flowers! They have a great selection of flowers, veggies and indoor plants for a a great a price. Many options for under $5. I went back and got more indoor plants as well and will probably keep going back for more.

First time going here, was with some friends at the time. I thought they had a good selection. This is a fairly big place, with lots of parking.

Great selection of annuals, herbs and roses.. and especially chemicals like liquid fertilizers, fertilizer spikes, rooting hormones are much cheaper than big box stores or competition down the street! Remember to say hi to Lily the store dog!

Very nice nursery lots of selection, few of the last family owned nursery. Rest bought out by mainland Chinese Investors for immigration purposes. They don't know anything. Had to wait a while to talk to someone, but got a clear answer. Very busy, you have to realize this is a seasonal business. So they are always busy when they are open.

Very helpful staff! The display may have been re-arranged to allow for more physical distancing during Covid-19. A variety of choices for indoor and outdoor plants, plus soil and fertilizers.

Well worth the visit if you're in the area. Prices are very similiar to the neighboring nurseries and each are all worth a gander. Cheaper for most things vs. local big box garden centre or hipster garden centre.

What a lovely little spot to poke around in- especially good for reasonably priced vegetable starters. I loved the fact that they had interesting cultivars, like tomatillos and shiso- which are usually hard to find. Everything is considerately labelled and well cared for, and I loved the fact that there is a lot of room to maneuver. From my experience, I found the staff here much nicer than the nursery two doors down. It has more or a family feel, cashier was super sweet.

Sometimes you can score some really well priced tropical plants such as fiddle figs and succulents. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Quality is good but not the best.

I would not recommend this place for first time plant growers. The staff i feel, were more attentive to their returning customers. Plants looked okay nothing special here, prices also fair. Never coming back. I was waiting to speak with someone knowledgeable for about quiet a while. Decided to go next door, and was treated with warm welcomes and very informative! I've been coming here for a few years now. They always have the best prices on vegetables and flowers. It's a surprise every time since their inventory changes so quickly from people buying their plants. It's family owned and I recommend anyone to go check them out.

Definitely recommend. The customer service was amazing. I'm not allowed to touch the soil due to health reason. They got everything ready for me from pot, to plant, to dirt. I didnt have to touch a thing. Amazing people. Thank you so much for helping prepare a thank you gift for my aunt ☆☆☆☆

I don’t get the bad reviews, Wing Wong’s nursery is the best of the row in Marine Dr. The staff is trained properly and the owner Bobby and Gordon are as knowledgeable as you could expect. Plants have good quality and the price is cheap accordingly to the size you are buying. No extra discount is required to ask. Variety is extensive and plants are taken care of properly since seed to bloom. I’ve never found better place to buy any kind of plants from cypress trees to succulents, roses, gerberas, impatiens and a lot of species with the best quality.

Dizzying selections of both common and exotic plants here. Come here for specialty tomato seedlings you can’t find anywhere else. Best place to get plants for your veggie garden. Lots of beautiful flowers for pretty good prices. Good place to stock up on soil, fertilizers, planters and such. Good staff.
