Great family owned and operated Nursery. Great selection and reasonable pricing. Have been coming here for years. Never disappointed and we drive down from Coquitlam for them. It’s a strip of multiple nurseries and all have a similar positive vibe and experience, you can hit up multiple ones while you are here and support them all. If COVID has taught us anything please support your local businesses if you want to see them around in the future.
Lots of selections of plants you won't find in other places good prices also
Excellent customer service, great pricing and choice of vegetables and flowers.
fresh radishes for 75 cents
Too pricy. I bought Safer’s 3 in 1 Garden spray from this store for $13.95 plus tax. After I went to Home Depot they sold the exact same product for $ 10.98. The same Wilson liquid Root this store sells is $9 plus tax. Home Depot only sells it for 6.98. This store has no exchange or return policy so you won’t get your money back even when you notice they sold expensively than other store.
Groceries and a nursery. Good place to check out.
Hands down, the best deals annually on hanging flower baskets. I have been returning for over a decade to this farm to buy hanging baskets. The common box store overpriced fast grown baskets are not even in the same league. Huge (and I mean HUGE) baskets every year for very reasonable prices (usually under $30) all very healthy and grown on site. We drive in all the way from the Fraser Valley yearly. It's worth it.
good selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. good quality, moderate prices, nice service.
Truck Drivers. Watch for belly clearance on step deck. Trailer. Only backing. In Delivery. Back. Only from. West. Bound. Thx
Great place to go plant shopping, very nice staff and prices are very competitive. Been here a few times already and always find good deals throughout the year! Oh they also grow and sell their own produce too!
Terrible service. Owner is very rude and disrespectful. Don't ever come to this place.
I always go there in summer to get locally grown vegetables and fruits. They also sell lots of plants and can give you an advice how to handle them.
The fresh greens and veg are great but the fruits are kinda lacking. Nice knowledgeable staff about the plants they sell.
A great operation run by the Yee family. Good selection of seedlings especially vegetables for Asian cuisine e.g. bitter melon. Plenty to look around, sometimes you find unexpected things, who knew you can get pomelo plants ($15) in Vancouver's climate!? Great deal on blueberry bushes! $5.95.. lowest I have ever seen.
The place for a gardener and to please your partner
A typical family business. A super efficient and friendly father, mom does the cashier. a son and daughter do the runner or helping out. A great family protriat would love to see. I've pre-ordered my tree from there this year. Awesome !!
Great local produce and friendly staff. They carry a good variety of peppers, greens and awesome fruit. Make sure you try the superb garlic. A great place to get flowers???????????? and your garden supplies.
Best prices on bedding plants by far! Great deals on everything else as well to go along with the helpful employees ????
Lowest customer service I have ever seen! I walked in their working hours which is posted in google , and they told me they are closed and I should leave. The closing hour was 6:00 PM and I arrived there at 5:15.
The staff were very nice. It is on the 148 bus route (community shuttle) from Oak St SkyTrain and Edmonds SkyTrain as well as the 100 (regular bus) from Marpole to 22nd Station. Buses are about every half hour and are a short walk from the farm. You can see their house by the road and store down a small hill driveway. If your mobility impaired try the 100 bus as it is low floor. Wide enough in some areas for a walker but might be narrow for a wheelchair in some spots. I bought a Camellia Sinensis (Korean) plant for $40.27(including tax). Plant was about 29 inches wide and 25 inches tall. It came in a 2 gallon pot but wasn't too heavy. One plant did have some black spots under it. The plant I got looked clean that way. One leaf I could remove looked affected rest was fine. Nice healthy bright leaves. I plan on making kombucha and regular tea. If making kombucha Gourmet Warehouse has vessels for brewing about $55 for 5L and scoby for $17. Dollar stores have glass bottles with rubber sealer for bottling. This store also has Filipino Limes and dwarf lemon trees. I'm not sure if I'll get one this year. Hopefully I'll do fine with the tea. Its been more than 40 years since I've cared for a tea plant. Part of my family owned a plantation. Been out of contact a long time though. They also sell fresh produce which also looked lovely. They also had blueberry and apple trees with fruit. The apples were a small variety but looked like Macintosh. Though the Camellia Sinensis is what I bought there were I think three other types of Camellias there. They were in bloom and on opposite side from the plant I got.
This garden store is wonderful. Tons of nice plants, gardening supplies, and fresh produce!
The highest quality greenhouse I've found, it's a true hidden gem
There is a huge selection of flowers available to choose from. Almost everything was on sale for 20% off, and all the shelves and counters were full, with more standing by to refill the supply. None of the plants were dried out and everything was tended to. Lots of hanging baskets attracting Hummingbirds and Bees. ???? There is a huge, free parking lot available with lots of carts trolleys and baskets, and the aisles are wide and gtee of debris and carts. Came home with a nice selection of plants that didn't cost me a fortune. Oh and the Bonus...for anyone who has SQUARE planters and unable to get water trays. They carry at least 6 SIZES of clear, plastic, 3" deep water trays. All nicely displayed for your choosing. Sept. 8/18...Check out my Siam Tulip...I popped out to Sun Tai Sang farms to pick up a couple of large barrels for transplanting some large plants. I left with this amazing plant. I am so thrilled with my purchase I've had to share with everyone.
One of my favorite nurseries to visit! Family owned and very friendly. Wide selection of plants, and accessories to go with it! Afraid to admit I’ve been here more than I should have. Favorite of the three (although Jenny's is a close second!). Grabbed tons of bedding plants and vegetable seedlings over the season. Unique offerings include alpine strawberry plants and seed potatoes (cheap)! Well worth the visit if you're in the area. Prices are very similiar to the neighboring nurseries and each are all worth a gander. Cheaper for most things vs. local big box garden centre or hipster garden centre.
Well priced, wide selection
This place is a gem. Prices are reasonable, lots of selections of plants and vegetables. The upkeep of the building and surrounding area could have been better but overall a great place with friendly staff.
Fresh, local grown produce at very fair prices.
It was great, went little early, so not many options...that's understandable. Price might be little up from last year, bit still reasonable...
Good selection of plants (flowers and veg), decent prices and friendly staff.
Great place for plants and local produce!
Better inventory, varieties, and prices than other more well known nurseries.
Great family run seasonal farm with friendly staff and great local produce and great prices.
Beautiful flowers fresh produce reasonable prices.
The best nursery in Burnaby!
My go to place for vegetable seedlings for my garden. Super friendly staff and lots of variety.
Great veggie plants and herbs here. Plus you can get your groceries!
Family owned and operated and what a lovely family! They were so thorough, helpful and knowledgeable. The selection is beautiful with some unique finds you’ll have a tough time finding elsewhere. Also sell their own fresh produce at a reasonable price, worth a visit!
Great place for bedding plants and garden supplies. Prices are good.
Fantastic prices on hanging baskets. I go every year for Mother's Day and only one year did I have a bunch of the flowers die too soon. Otherwise they tend to live long and stay healthy until fall.
Great prices on all the plants. The owner is so helpful! I love shopping there.
Best place to get fresh eggs
Good
Love it for many years, addicted to my greenery especially perennials sales at the end of season.
Fresh farm vegetables. Best pickling dill and horseradish. Highly recommended. Very friendly.
Come here every year for flowers and herbs plants. Everything is tidy and the grounds are easy to walk on. Fair prices and lots of spaces for parking.
Fantastic prices.. lots of veggie and herb options
Locally grown produce. Family run (literally the whole family is there from young to old.. it is wonderful). Always such a pleasure to go to Sun Tai Sang. Wonderful people, wonderful produce.
Lots of choices. Quality is good and good prices too.
Excellent farm produce mixed with various sized plants to take home. The store is a connected set of greenhouses so it makes for super extensive collection of everything with very decent prices. I have tomatoes, peppers and many other things grown from this store before and you always get quality here with excellent results. Highly Recommended
My favourite place for plants
It’s a family run business. Bought so many house plants from this store! They have a very good price and excellent selections! They also have fresh produces from their garden. Everyone is so nice and friendly. Definitely recommend!
I don’t recommend this place at all , I bought 3 windmill palm trees , there all dead and rotten from inside , I tried to show her and hope to exchange them but the owner was so rude and hostile towards me and my mom to a point she made my mom cry and then she kicked us out the owner she has anger issues
The best place to buy veggie of all kinds n other kinds of garden plants.
If you're looking for big pumpkins come Halloween (and I mean BIG) then this is your place! You can always count on Sun Tai Sang to have a few pumpkins that get up to the 100+lbs range!
Good farm to go to if ur looking for plants. They have a really good selection. Staff is very nice. Will recommend and go back in future years.
I want choose no star to this store. I bought three pots of flowers from this store. When I bought them there had not bloomed yet, but each pot had tag with the picture of the flower on it. However, after blooming, the flower’s color and shape were totally different. I went back store today and asked them give an exchange or refund. They refused and were very rude. I told them I wanted post the store pictures to let people know that they used fake pictures to cheat customers. A female staff started to take some pictures of me. I asked her to delete my photo. She refused and went inside. I approached and asked her to I delete my picture. A man who claimed that he was the owner dragged me away. My right arm I still hurt after I came home. Finally, the female staff member deleted my pictures, I still am not totally sure she did. They did not give an exchange or refund instead of hurting people. I definitely don't recommend this store to anyone.
Extremely rude service
Fantastic selection a great prices!! The have almost every type of plant you can imagine!!
Great produce and very friendly staff. Always have answers to my gardening questions. My go to place in BBY.
Was very nice I found everything I wanted good service!!!
Excellant hanging baskets, at a reasonable price.
This is a lovely little nursery farm. Local vegetables are in season now great selection. Try the radicchio and waxed beans.
Great prices and great products. Good selection of herbs.
Have been shopping here for years. The place is awesome.
Wonderful family run farm. Fresh and local produce. Can't beat it!
Excellent service, lots of choices of bedding plants, reasonable prices. I visited the farm every year around this time. Thank you

All sorts of flowers and vegetables plants and reasonable prices
It's a very good place where you can buy fresh vegies. Customer service is exvellent.
Veg are fresh
Good farm. Finally found arugula
I love going to Sun Tai at least once a week. They also have great prices on farm eggs. Just saw online that they are open for the season. Fingers crossed it’s true. Heading there now.
Amazing selection of produce, they had at least 4 kinds of beets when I was there. Good pricing too. Very friendly family that have been farming that land for decades.
This is a family-owned and operated nursery. Its greenhouse operation concentrates mostly on annuals (flowers and vegetables) which they themselves grow from seeds, it seems. The prices are low (and at this point in time, 25% off all plants except for few like cactus). The quality is just as good as higher-priced garden centres and nurseries. There are modest selections of perennials, shrubs, and trees. This is not a place to find particular species or cultivars of one's wet dreams. One may find such, or not. If one knows plants, one may encounter good finds. There are pots and containers, but not a garden-knicknack mini mall. There are fresh produces (some of which are grown in their fields, I am sure; fruits like banana are obtained from elsewhere). No manures to haul away in pickups except in pre-packaged bags. One of the last of the fast-disappearing breeds -- there are two or three more of such adjacent to each other on the stretch of Marine Drive. I know what I want, I like the place very much.
I got a few jasmine plants from the store that I thought had problems. The leaves were yellow and had some white powder on the surface. I asked the store owner to make sure the plants were healthy. He told me that the plants just need more fertilizer. After I took the plants home the plants kept on getting worse and dying. I brought the leaves to Gardenworks instead, and they told me that the Jasmine had a disease called Powdery Mildew. The owner was either not knowledgeable about plants or he didn’t care about selling unhealthy plants to people. They don’t accept returns or exchanges anyways, so I don’t recommend people buying plants from this store.
Rude and disrespectful with me
Great selection and they have a lot of local stuff too.
great selection, good prices and friendly staff
If I can give them zero star I wd , owner is very rude to customers, overpriced and very bad quality plants
Great place for your gardening needs
Good selection and knowledge staff
Such a little hidden treasure in South Burnaby. I love it when it opens up in the spring. excellent variety . Friendly service. good prices.
They are good but the neighbors are better, some of the plants looked dying and dried, should try Wing Wong’s first.
Wow... This wholesale nursery for flowers, plants, grocery is huge. About 4 acres "under covered" area. One finds All the annuals, perannuals plants under the sun. Gigantic hanging baskets. Never seen it so beautiful, vibrant before. Tons of assortments plants, annuals, perannuals. Herbs of basil, red pepper, thyme Price is like as if you're in the 1970's era..no kidding 8"x6" big balgonia floral= $1.45 Indoor Jasmine plants = $1.99 One pays only 30% of what you had to pay at the other retailer stores. If you are a gardener. This place is a must to visit right on South east Marine drive, turn left from Nelson, only a block from the intersection. Guaranteed you will find their prices are kinda.. " Dropping jaw" cheap Good quality too...
A lot of variety, good prices and excellent customer service
One of the best places to get plants at a good price.
Awesome staff great product
Lots of choices for starting vegetable and annual flower gardens. Go early in the season for better starters. Reasonable prices.
Friendly folks, good selection, with that roadside farm~grown mood
Worth the drive from North Delta for our bedding vegetables and other plants.
