This place has a very large inventory of special items and they want to keep their staff safe as well as make their clients comfortable. They have the only chemical toilet for guests use that is wheel chair accessible and fitted with grab bars etc . Thank you!

I've been shopping at Northwest Landscape Supply both personally and professionally for 12 years. In almost every instance, staff go out of their way to provide good information about the great selection of natural stone and other products they carry, what is or is not available, expected delivery times and more. Technical information and help putting pond kits or components for water features together is also something invaluable that they help out with or tracking down just the right table or set of patio chairs. Except for when it is the height of the super busy season or a very busy time of day, I've always received great service. Thanks for being there!

I had a warranty issue with a pond filter I bought here - I emailed Northwest and they replied within the day. They replaced the defective parts with no hassle and got me up and running again quickly! Great selection of pond equipment and knowledgeable staff.

I come here for pond and aquarium related supplies. Stone, pond fittings, crushed lava rock etc. Great pricing and helpful staff. Great variety of ornamental stone and pebbles. The yard is quite large and they have statues, fountains, and every manner of stone creations. It's very clean both in the yard and inside the showroom, which is impressive, seeing as they sell aggregates and skids of rocks. They have a Mexican bowl rock which is great for aquascaping at a fraction of the cost of comparable aquarium stone.

The owner/ manager never offers their customers a deal or discount when they spend a fortune here. That turns me right off! Another issue, as I've shopped here often is that I will at times find a piece of sculpture or garden pottery damaged, yet fixable, however when I inquire about a discount due to the damage on the odd pieces I've hunted you are met with a stoney face, yes pun was definitely intended, and this is followed with a lame excuse about costs. C'mon throw a discount bin together for Pete's sake you have the room for that and your profit margin must be able to handle a small Letty loss. Give it some though, everyone appreciated a small bargain every now and then, especially after loyal shopping and spending huge dollars over the years. Appreciate your small customers they spend hard earned dollars and would appreciate your effort to reward them once in a while. Discount bin won't lower your standards!

Lots to choose from here. Bricks, pavers, large architectural rock pieces and fountains. Prices are decent but not close to contractor prices for sure (about 30% cheaper than here) but for your average joe that's redoing their garden, a great place to go!

I arrived un announced at their burnaby location of Friday at 3:45pm (close at 4pm) to grab material for an out of town project. With all the COVID restrictions and my short notice arrival, they were unable to help me until Monday. I pleaded with them as to the urgency of the matter, as I was set to deliver these materials over the weekend for work scheduled for Monday. These guys stepped up, stayed late and got my materials. the service was outright horrible. I went there in the day time on Friday and asked for help multiple times and got nothing. Then on Sunday I called and asked if they had manure and the lady that answered the phone was so rude and unhelpful and at the end of the phone call I asked where I could find manure and she told me to "Google the damn thing" and hung up. I am very disappointed and won't ever go there again or suggest this place to others.

Horrible experience! I purchased paving stones from Northwest Landscape and Supply. When picking up the paving stones, the forklift driver hit my truck with the forklift and damaged the bed of my truck while placing the stones in the bed of the truck. The manager Bob took full responsibility, however told me not to go through my insurance and he would fix it with “someone he knows”. Obviously I’m not falling into that trap. I filed a claim with my insurance and took my truck to a reputable auto body who repaired the truck. My insurance company has found me not at fault and that Northwest Landscape is responsible. Bob is not cooperating and refusing to provide his insurance information. I now have to pay the deductible until the insurance company goes after this business through collections agency!!! Avoid this place, very dishonest manager!!!

I would never be back to even buy the smallest of pebbles. My first experience is my last for multiple reasons. They were happy to take my money ($1600) after I was told the product I wanted was in stock, however its been 32 days and I just received the second part of my order because in fact it wasn't in stock. They also shorted me in quantity from the first part of my order and have never bothered to credit me the difference after asking twice. Secondly, I had to prompt them as to when the second part of my order could be delivered, was basically told at the 11th hour they could deliver it....(like I don't work for a living and I'm just hanging around home!) so clearly it was there and they just forgot about it. Then they called back a second time after I called them again and wanted to drop by in 20 minutes (again, at work!)...they finally delivered it this morning and basically were about to leave it to the main entry door of my condo and leave me to my own devices to deal with it. That's delivery? That's why I paid $120 additional for delivery? I could have put it my car myself and driven it home. When I asked for assistance up the elevator with it, I received the stare of death from the delivery guy. Basically, they are careless with their customers...I feel like they think they are doing you a favor by being in business. If I ran my company (and yes I own a very successful company) in this manner I would be embarrassed and ashamed that I treat my customers like that. Thankfully there are other places to go and I will never go here again. The only reason they get one star is because it won't let me post it with zero stars!
