What a great find! Located next to Leong's, Its About Thyme Nursery caters to those looking for top of the line landscaping plants, shrubs and trees. Is it expensive? No more so than Mandeville (a few minutes away). The staff here REALLY know their stuff and take them time to walk around with you to help you create a cohesive plan for your yard. I went in with my Mom and while she had an idea of what she wanted, she knew she was missing a few links in her plan. By the time we left we were much better armed with information do's and don't and had a wonderful selection of items. Mom is super impressed with the end result! Thank you so much!

Came here with the family twice now. Both times were pleasant experiences. They have many plants that other nurseries don't have. So worth checking out if you're looking for something unique or rare. Friendly knowledgeable staff who can tell you about all sorts of things about your plants too!

This nursery is different than its neighbours as the owners seems to concentrate on quality vs quantity. The selection of plants there seems to be "curated" as they to be organized by how each type of plants related to one another vs having the plants all out there. Their focus seems to be trees and shrubs.. It is a great place to wander and get some ideas on how to decorate your garden. The nursery is deep vs typically wide layout, so there are plenty to explore.

It's About Thyme Nursery caught my eye almost 10 years ago. I would plan my buying trips on a slow day so I would have time to thoroughly scan the 1.3 acres. I'd always find some gem that more rushed landscapers missed. This Nursery has grown into a unique and magical place. South Burnaby's own secret garden. Great website too!

Great place to go if your looking for ornamental trees,good selection of acers (maples), perennials,ground covers,bamboos and friendly staff.

Called in about some juniper 'blue arrows'. The lady on the phone told me they don't grow to 7ft. She was pretty rude about it as well. I have four years of horticulture schooling and 4 years landscaping experience. I know these get 3-4ft wide and 16 feet tall. She was rude and told me to go find them myself. Do not recommend this place. I will tell my clients not to go to this nursery and I will never buy product from them either. Just lost a good landscape contractor who would have purchased other items as well as the 15-18 junipers I needed.

I highly recommend It's About Thyme nursery. Nancy was super knowledgeable and helpful as we picked out a tree for our front yard (the price was excellent). I had the pleasure of meeting the owners Stephen and Ingrid, too and they are great people! A great experience, thanks!

I love this little gem of a nursery. The owner and staff are lovely ladies, who truly have an affinity for plants. While the selection isn't as wide as some nurseries, the quality is exceptional. It's About Thyme is now my go-to nursery for my design and gardening company.
