We have a small front yard which was overgrown with buttercup weeds. So we looked for a landscaper/gardener to replace our weed-ridden lawn with turf. We also wanted to put a bed of rhododendrons and hydrangeas as a partition between our front lawn and our neighbour’s. We contacted several landscapers, who had high ratings, through Yelp.ca and Google but we either got no replies or slow responses from all except Curb Appeal. I figured that a no-response, or extremely tardy responses, was an indication of lack of interest in our job. So we went with Curb Appeal Landscapers. Initially, we were told by Rick that the job would take two to three days; however, the weather did not cooperate so it was rather a frustrating wait for the rain to stop so that Rick and his crew could continue with the job. Even though it was not his fault, Rick sensed our frustration and “gifted” us a truckload of top soil to compensate for the delay. The job eventually got completed and we are extremely happy with the results. Rick is a very honest, amiable, hardworking guy. He and his crew worked well into the night to get the job done. There were a few issues which Rick was more than happy to fix.

We had Curb Appeal build a fence for us and I do not have a single good thing to say about them! Rich had no professionalism at all when things started to go downhill! They charged us 4 times the original quote due to them running into a rock or two when digging holes into the ground! There workmanship was very poor! Fence post caps not centred and took a circular saw to one post when the measurements were off! Now I'm concerned my young children could get hurt! They didn't even complete the entire quoted job in 4 times the allotted time they took! They have caused my family so much unnecessary stress! Please do yourself a favour and hire someone else for your landscaping needs!

This company was doing work on our neighbour's yard and had extra soil so offered to put it in our garden for free - well it was just happened we we're working on a vegetable garden so needed the soil! They were so kind to do this! We need more soil, so will definitely use them in the future. Now that's what you call friendly neighbourhood service!
