This is a very beautiful shop filled with everything from clothes, to bitters and mixes, knick knacks, candles and creams. And best of all, plants, both succulents and tropicals. It is very beautiful at Christmas with a great selection of live wreaths and greenery, birch wood, etc. Lots of parking in the back. Prices are a little higher but it is understandable based on the location. Have already recommended to others.

Love this store, so many unique items, so much to see! I didn't find it expensive as others are suggesting, I actually thought there were so many things at very reasonable prices. One of the ladies was really friendly and helpful but there was another lady working as well as she was quite unfriendly and seemed in a bad mood. Oh well....won't stop me from shopping there again.

Thank you for providing downtown Burlington with such a heavenly place to unwind and stroll through. We always find the perfect presents for our friends and family. The plants, the decor, the everything. My wife and I are regulars. We also come to the Sunday Farmer's Markets and the Makers Market in July! Grand times for sure! It will be very sad to see the condo next door. It will change everything (not to mention the 4 years of construction that will hurt businesses down here). Mass intensification is not always the answer.

Centro Garden used to me my all time favourite store for years. I am obsessed with plants and I think I can easily say that Centro was the first store who really introduced me to a huge array of plants and beautiful little things for your home and self. But I can’t seem to put this one horrible experience behind me. One afternoon I came to the store just for random looking thinking maybe if I found something I liked (plant wise) I could never have to many plants and I would just pick it up! I then found a ’Burros tail’ it was beautiful and so weird to look at (if you’ve never seen a one) I got excited right away- I picked it up from outside carried it inside to the cash register. I then heard an employee kindly say to another customer how there is the option to get the women out back to actually re plant it for you in a pot of your choosing! I was so excited I had no idea Centro did that. So I decided I would go out back and talk to the women there and ask about it (since like I’d said I never knew they could do this) I didn’t know much about the succulent I chose so I wasn’t sure if it needed a certain pot or a bigger pot than usual or anything so I just had a few questions and concerns. The younger women was very kind of me and just asked if I could hold my questions for another women to come help me. Then this other women came out to the stand. She then proceeded to treat me like the most unintelligent human in the entire world. She- before I said a single world told me “go pay for that inside” and I said “yes...I know. I just wanted to replant it in a pot” As if I couldn’t feel any dumber she then proceeded to tell me “well where’s your pot?” And I said I don’t have one yet she then said “well go get one”. Now- I am usually pretty strong with my emotions and how people make me feel but. Girl. I had no idea I could choose any pot I wanted how was I supposed to know?? I just had a few questions and this women made me feel like the dumbest scum of earth. I then turned right around trying not to cry in front of her walked inside paid for the plant and tried to get out of there as fast as possible. I then proceeded to cry the entire drive home. Like I said I’m usually pretty strong with my emotions but I haven’t been able to shake this and it’s now been a month since this incident and I can’t find myself feeling comfortable to go back.

This is the most hygge place I’ve ever been at! Be careful as you would want to buy everything. They have tons of gorgeous home decor, plants and other nice details. I bought these amazing ranunculus to grow at home. Employees are very helpful and knowledgeable.

I had always liked this place, never had a bad experience with staff and they always seemed to have very nice stuff in stock, HOWEVER I am a plant enthusiast and I have been disappointed by both of the only 2 plants I’ve bought from here. The first is an english ivy that grows pretty nicely but it has some sort of fungus in the soil that grows into big yellow mushrooms if not controlled, and which spread to a plant that was ACROSS THE ROOM FROM IT which had never had this fungus before the ivy was brought in, so it was not nice knowing I had been breathing in spores from this fungus for days. Though, I figured the fungus was in the plant from the nursery they got it from so I didnt hold it against them. However recently my mother bought me a monstera from here (overpriced but this is a nice shop so she thought it was worth it and wanted to support a local business), and she told me that the woman at the store told her to water a generous amount every week. I found this odd since that seemed like too much water for a monstera but I figured they knew what they were doing and likely that the amount of light it got in store made up for the watering. Nope. I had been waiting for the soil to dry out a little and wanted to get the plant used to its surroundings before repotting it, but today I found that some leaves had turned pale and were rotted at the base so I quickly pulled out the plant. Lo and behold, root rot. 70%-80% of the roots I likely have to remove now because the rot is so bad and I may end up losing this large and well-established plant that my mum was so excited about buying for me (and also paid $50 for). I am so angry because their whole thing is plants and natural decor, and they do LANDSCAPING, and yet they overwatered a monstera to death. I am so disappointed and wont shop here again, and Im so sorry to the owner of Centro if this was just the fault of an employee, but this is not what I expected from a store this nice...

Bonus: there's parking in the back. The staff are very friendly and very knowledgable about their products. I would recommend this place to friends and family.

Fun shop with unique and beautiful stuff for decorating your house. Stay away from plants. I got caught a couple of times with beautiful arrangements but potted in a very sub-par way i.e., no holes for the water to drain. Plants just die. Other than that, I enjoy my visits at Centro.

I love this place, wish I was rich enough to just buy everything from this place. I visit them once in awhile to see what they have. They always have nice plants out in summer time, and all the cool decorative items inside. I just love the vibe and their selection, always inspires me and give me ideas. Price is bit high, but if you have a time, do visit them and see what they do.

This is my favourite store in all of Ontario. Any time i’m passing Burlington, I stop. I’ve taken a workshop for fall planters which was amazing, and i’ve even had family photos done in the garden. I have so much decor in my house from the shop, and almost all of my plants are from Centro. The staff are usually helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.. which is great! Have loved watching this store grow into what it is today.

Website says open until 6pm. Instagram says open until 6pm. I drive from downtown Toronto and give them a call when I’m by the closed gates at 5pm. She says “we are closing early because it’s dead tonight. Come back tomorrow.” ???? I have spent thousands on overpriced jewelry, planters and furniture here. The unprofessionalism is so disappointing. Won’t be going back again.

I don't usually leave bad reviews. I tend to think positively and dont like damaging anyone's reputation. However, I'm done with trying this place again and again in the hope they'll improve their customer service. The young girls in there are so lovely but the older ladies (especially the 'manager' with dark hair and super stern face) need to go back to courtesy school. I have been in a few times recently and don't get even a hello from them, even though I offered it first. Their stock is nice, they curate well but I won't be stepping foot back in here to be treated like something nasty you just stepped in. If that was my store there would be a couple of disappointed ladies being told to go find another job, preferably not in customer service. Just as an add on, when the lovely young girls try to be nice and chat, they get the stern look of disapproval from said 'manager'. I feel sorry for the girls working there.

This is a beautiful gift shop. I was pleasantly surprised at how beautifully and thoughtfully everything was set up. Unfortunately, the customer service didn’t match the aesthetic. There were two young ladies behind the register who were more concerned about their weekend than acknowledging the paying customers. Not a single smile or a thank you. Small and local businesses need and want people to feel welcomed and appreciated. My experience was definitely less than.

Lovely place for planted flowers. Fantastic assortment of hooks for decorating your home. They carry a very large variety of crystals and ornamental stones, alongside oils and scent diffusers. Check them out, a beautiful place with lots of variety.

I truly love this store, but in recent events that has changed my mind. A lady with blond hair. Ruined my day with my mother and her best friend. Enjoying a good time giggling over the unique products they have. I always buy a few things when I'm there. But this put a bad taste in my mouth. As she was hovering over us as if we were planning on stealing no hello or anything just a bad look on her face. And an accusatory attitude. Im not sure who she is. But she needs to go. You cant assume everyone in there is going to steal. 101 on customer service and owning a business. If anything you annoying those you feel might steal they will show who they are. Most will politely say no thank you and carry on. This lady is persistent and obvious. Makes you feel super uncomfortable and almost embarrassed.which therefore makes the store owner and staff look really bad. Trust me without a doubt myself or my mother alone could purchase the entire store if not the building. Be careful who you judge and generalize in any situation. I hope Centro reads this and takes the text seriously. It's a real shame if they allow this lady to treat others like this I like to add. She is no better than anyone else Reading other comments I see she is also racist? Wow she should be ashamed if not fired.2019.

I love this store, awesome place to go for plants and cute home decor. The young girls are always very pleasant and kind. HOWEVER the older staff are incredibly rude and every time I go I have a bad experience because of them. I love supporting local businesses but I don't understand the negativity from some of the staff and it makes me want to spend my money elsewhere, especially since I can often find their products quite a bit cheaper. I want to keep shopping here but the older staff need to treat customers with some respect and like they actually want our business. Behaviour I would expect from a rude, ignorant customer and not someone with a job in customer service.

I visited this place today. great local products. However staff is rude and lacks training..I told the cashier about the sign that said 12 bags for $30. She said nothing and proceeded to charge individually. When I questioned that she said that was only if it was prepacked . Well the prepacked was the exact same bags. I had to return and repurchase the EXACT same stuff. Not good for heygenic purposes. signage in store says only touch what you will buy.

This is a place where you can spend quite a bit of time looking at their unique collection of home decor accessories and unusual but funny greeting cards. Looking doesn't cost but if you purchase, it is not cheap. The store is wheelchair accessible but be careful, you'd hate to take a display out by an ill planned turn as there isn't a lot of room to maneuver. Generally the staff is friendly and eager to help, but some have an air of superiority that I've experienced in Yorkville, Manhattan and Rodeo Dr. which is a complete turn-off. Overall I take guests visiting from out of province as a unique shopping experience but rarely frequent the store regularly.

RACIST. Went there around 7:30 with my 2 black friends. White woman with blonde hair shadowing my friends and was in a 1 meter radius around either one or the other the entire time we were browsing. I received a “Hi”. Only me though. Never once did she ask them “How are you guys?” or “Can i help with you guys with anything?” the entire time she was trailing my friends. But there were other white customers she was so eager to assist. When we were looking at the jewelry her eyes would not leave us. This time shes righ behind us with her arms crossed staring us down. I get it, we look like students and we were laughing a lot. But at a certain age one should question how to approach their “service”. At least be annoyingly helpful if you really feel we’re stealing. They teach you that at every retail job. I felt completely embarassed and uncomfortable because i truly enjoy coming into the store and wanted to show my friends what the store has. I come there frequently but never again after the way she treated my friends.

Wow this place is an absolute gem in Downtown Burlington! Such a beautiful space with friendly and knowledgable staff. This was my first experience shopping there and not only was I blown away by the lovely selection of items they carry but also by the amazing customer service. They were very helpful and accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure I had the perfect Mother's Day Spring Planter. You can tell they take pride in their shop and genuinely care about people being happy with their purchases. I will be recommending them to everyone! :)

Only point some of your staff needs to smile a little more and be more welcoming....... not great greeters and first impressions are always a tell tale.
