This set up was very artsy, practical, informative, surprising! So many beautiful plants!!!...then all of a sudden a small booth selling artisan recycled cloth purses, around another ,a nook to sit and enjoy food drink. At the entrance to welcome you....Canadian based charity silver jewelry tent to save the Elephants...very reasonable and what else but Maple Syrup food products!mmm. And so much more Parking not too bad. Very Welcoming. Hope this happens on a regular basis this summer❤

Unfortunately my first experience with Gemmell's was disappointing. I called ahead to make sure they had what I was looking for (a raspberry bush) and when I arrived, spoke with two young workers who first ignored me, and then just motioned to the back of the garden centre as their best effort to help me locate what I had driven all the way to get. I couldn't find my raspberry bush and was so annoyed at the rudeness of both employees I encountered that I just left. The only reason I gave this place two stars is because the selection and items available looked lovely and well kept. Unfortunately the staff were unhelpful and dismissive.

Called here looking to buy 15 Stella Cherry Trees. I completely expect to pay $100+ for each tree. Lady answers the phone and says "We sell cherry trees but I'm not going to check you can come in yourself" responded "Maybe I can call back later when your less busy". The lady responds " No you can just come in yourself".... I guess I should drive 35 Minutes during a Covid stay at home order to give this place potentially $1500+ sale when they insist on being rude...I'll pass thank you.

If I could give this place 6 stars I would! They are amazing! Bit pricey, but you absolutely get what you pay for! The plants are well taken care of, the girls here provide excellent customer service and advice! Jodie is such a pleasure to see whenever I’m in!
