We couldn't be happier with the pond Quiet Nature built for us. Each person on the team seemed to take true pride in ownership of the final product and it shows in the results. It was a pleasure to have the guys around on site and they were all very responsive in addressing questions as they came up. They created a lovely dining and bar area and a pond in such a small space. We had them back to do our teeny tiny front garden, and now we've run out of space for them to transform. We are really happy with the front yard landscaping, driveway, and walkways on each side of the house. All the neighbours are talking and the people using the crosswalk beside the house stop and stare. Lots of strangers walking by comment on how they’ve been watching the project progress, and how good it looks. The crew (Dustin, Nash, Riley, Chris, and Mike) were great to work with. Quiet Nature built a natural swimming pool on our property which ties in seamlessly with the natural environment. The project was only made better by the incredible crew who were professional, thoughtful and a pleasure to be around. I would highly recommend Quiet Nature for any landscaping project.

Being in business for myself for more than 2 decades I understand the challenges of operating a small business. With that understanding I believe many reviews are unfair. This is only the second public review I have ever placed. I am sharing my experience so you may make an educated selection in who you choose for you project and what to look for with whom ever you hire. Our project was fairly large - front and rear landscaping on a 1 acre property new home build. Things started off great and we settled on a design we were happy with. Here were the issues. Most of the staff were definitely hard working but super inexperienced. There's nothing wrong with inexperience as long as there is supervision...this is how we all learn, unfortunately there was a big lack of supervision here. We supplied all of the live goods for the project with the initial planting in the summer of 2019. A couple months later we brought to Quiet Natures attention that many of the perennials / shrubs had died. Admittedly they had planted many of the perennials and shrubs too deep. We decided to wait until spring to see how the rest of the product made out through the winter and replace then. Come spring we lost a couple trees and many more perennials over the winter. We also agreed 2 of the garden beds were to be raised to prevent water settlement and plant drowning, the lawns required grading more soil and reseeding. I agreed again to pay for all the plant material to be replaced to save argument. Well again we had different inexperienced staff and the deficiencies were not repaired as agreed. I was given a list of replacements plants to order. Some of which was wrong and were planted anyway. When we pointed this out, they then replaced with much smaller product and we had to again ask for it be replaced. The soil used for top soil was dirty and drove weed growth. The beds were not raised and all replanted live goods have again perished. We discovered that all planting in front yard was done in native soil without the addition of quality planting mix. This contributed to the lack of drainage and drowning of the plants. All planting in rear with exception of 1 tree was planted properly and are doing well. We have had to have another company come in to fix the issues. Beds raised and 60 yards of quality soil mix spread for the front and rear lawns with seeding. I will for the 3rd time half to pay for live goods and plant next spring. To say the least this whole experience with Quiet Nature was very frustrating. You would think a project this size would warrant experienced people with proper supervision. It appears this project was beyond Quiet Nature capabilities.

I hired Quiet Nature to create a patio space in my awkwardly shaped backyard. I am on a corner lot and I have a small backyard facing the neighbour, and a largely wasted sideyard. There was a very dated, cramped sunken patio, and multiple retaining walls of various levels which made the already awkward shape even less usable. Quiet Nature took the time to assess and design a beautiful space. They opened up the patio, removed all but one level of retaining wall, and built a brick patio with unusual flagstone inserts to tie in the existing flagstone on the upper level. They incorporated a natural looking boulder retaining wall. They resolved a number of issues with the patio including the retaining wall holding dirt against the brick of the house. They worked with me to move some lovely decorative privacy screens that had previously been installed. They responded to all my concerns and questions immediately. When I had trouble getting the attention of the fencing company, Quiet Nature offered to quote on the fence. While their price was higher, I was so confident in the work they had done that I hired them to do the 200 feet of fence as well. I was not disappointed. The fence is really solid and very nice to look at. They had to hand dig the holes and remove large bushes. They did everything with respect for the neighbours, and the guys on the job always took the time to talk to me and answer my questions. I can't say enough good things about Quiet Nature. They work fast and do beautiful work. I now have a spacious natural looking outdoor space which has added to both the enjoyment and value of my home. All of the guys on the job were respectful and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone.

We had a large scale project set to go and Covid hit. QN came up with a great solution of splitting the project into 2 phases. Phase 1 was completed (Koi Pond and massive water falls) with some really cool features that just 'developed' along the way. We will get into phase 2 next year and we're expecting nothing less. Very professional, very supportive, and full of great experience. We highly recommend the QN team. You wont be disappointed.
