They are not organized to be doing curbside pick ups at all. If you send customers emails saying their orders are ready and I still have to wait 30 mins + and remind you that I’m waiting to receive mine with 1 other car in the parking lot, my order is NOT ready and your store is very dysfunctional. Home Depot is definitely better and more quick and efficient.

Can't say I'd ever come back to shop at this Lowes or any Lowes in general. I ordered a portable AC unit and came to pick it up. The box appeared a bit damaged and re taped but nothing which would raise a lot of suspicion. Upon carrying the 100lb + unit up my main stair case i open the box to find the unit was used and return in less than ideal condition. Small piece were in a Presidents Choice bag (most of which were missing) and window cover was covered in old felt. Had bring the unit all the way back downstairs, driveway all the way back to Lowes to exchange and then drive all the way home again and lug the thing up the staircase for a third time. Extremely disappointed Lowes excepted the original AC units return by another customer and even more surprised no one at the store thought to check to make sure it was in good condition prior to picking and giving to another paying customer.
I stayed for 3 hours trying to find anyone to ask, or to help me in what I need, and even after asking two of the people working there, they said they would bring me someone but with no good at all.

Can never find anything... seems to be sorted as thoightfully as yahtzee dice. Don't have troubles finding things in literally any other hardware store. ... they do, tho, often have that random "one item" you need for your project, that no other store carries. ... IF you can find it.
I get a vacuum cleaner. I had hard time to put it together. Hoover. The tiny drowing not clear. I went back to the store, grabed the display model and it was easy peasy to see. The factory sould make a clear BIGER drowing. By the way, the vacuum is excellent. I had central for the last 35 years, so it's a little different. I like to dump the dirt container strait to the garbage, no paper bag.

Returned a complete shower/tub faucet kit The young man was extremely thorough as he opened the unopened box and took out every part to make sure it was all still there and new. Did some shopping and knew what I needed so didn't need to talk to anyone. Check out young lady was very friendly

I placed an order online and waited months only for them to cancel my order. During this time I tried contacting lowes by phone and email with NO ANSWER. Then I messaged lowes on Facebook and told them I wanted to cancel my order because they were taking forever and also for their lack of customer service. Today I received and email from lowes saying they apologize for having to cancel my order. For the inconvenience they offered me 15% off my next online order. What a joke!!! I will never shop at lowes again!!! Customer service number never worked, emails were never replied to and website offered no information on order. Worst customer service ever.
Still feels like a Rona, as opposed to the other Lowe's in town, but at the end of the day, it has what you need.

I go to Lowe's all the time, but ever since covid and the new curbside pickup, they have been letting me down. I ordered a basic filter from the website, and it took two days to get the pickup email. When I arrived at the curbside, there was only one other car waiting for their order, so I cannot for the life of me figure out what took them so long to fill the order if they are not busy. Lowe's seems to be the only place that is slow. Home Depot and Canadian Tire, you can get it within one to three hours. Also, I tried contacting Customer Service, and they just directed me to a number that rings and no one picks up, which frustrated me all the more!
CAUTION LOWES TERRIBLE ONLINE ORDERING - Would not release install items to delivery driver / installer despite showing receipt confirmation with order number. Cost our company time and labor! The manager PETER did not make any exceptions and was notified that it was holding up our projects.

Sort of liked it better as Rona. Some employees are really nice here. Sometimes it's unclear where to go to to checkout because employees are standing in the customer service area or there is no one at cash which is important when self-checkout is not possible. Had to go to the other Lowe's last time when they didn't have a certain item in stock.

I have been going to Lowe's in Kitchener lately as I am painting and redecorating . From the entrance to the exit ,the employees were so welcoming,friendly yet professional. Excellent customer service that I reluctantly say has become a rarity now a days lately but not at Lowe's. A special shout out to Peter who should get the customer service reward of the decade who went above and beyond in his duties at the paint area. Very happy customer here and I will for sure refer business to this store. ????

This is a new store and I was there to buy a wall clock but it took me long time to find the right price tags. Even the associate didn't know what belongs where!

Best Lowe's! The customer service desk associates are kind and helpful. The rest of the staff assist you whenever you need them. Best delivery staff as well. Got a kitchen sent and the delivery people brought it to the area I needed and they were prompt as well so didn't need to wait around for it.

I had run out of paint so I decided to go to the closer location to me which is the Ottawa St one, as I was last at the location on Ira Needles. I must say that the two staff members in the paint department, Tracey and Peter were WONDERFUL! I have never dealt with someone so attentive and helpful in a home improvement store. They kept tinting my can of paint to make sure the color was basically exact to the swatch I had for them and insured me I was getting the best can of paint in regards to coverage as I explained how I was having trouble due to the shade I chose. I feel confident that will go back to this location in the future for the rest of my painting projects! Excellent customer service! Couldn’t thank them enough!!

Just came back from shopping for some insulation material the customer service was excellent and I went there at the end of the day for a specific insallation and the stock shelf was empty and the two gentlemen helped me and my wife and restocked it for us even though it was the store was about to close in 30 minutes. The cashier was very polite and geniune and even asked me if I needed any assistance with bringing out my items I purchased (which was alot) and overall I would recommened this store to anyone. Everyone working here should get a nice big raise for their hard work !! You cant pay for great customer service its either you have it or your store doesnt and this store has it !!!

Placed an order for curbside pick up. Called when after 4hours and they said they must have forgot to print it... Was then filled in an hour. When I got there, I was put in another line up of cars to wait a very long time for an order that was supposedly ready... Waste of time and gas... Go to home depot.. Received frozen soil... Went in for hardware things and hammer plus some 2 by 4 wood 24 inches long, had excellent and courteous service.
This is a very large store with tons of stuff to look at, so be prepared to walk a fair bit. It's all well organized, clean, but it can feel a little intimidating if you're trying to find something specific like a type of bolt, etc. We had to walk around looking for a sales associate to assist us and when we found one, he had to page someone else who worked in the area we were inquiring about. The associate that helped us seemed to be in a rush as he cut us off to guess at what we were talking about before we could finish our sentence on what we were looking for. He was wrong both times in his guesses and basically ran ahead of us once we managed to blurt out the size of the specific bolt we needed for mounting our television. Before that, he had informed us by interrupting that they don't sell mounting kits, and then again interrupted to say we would need to know the exact measurements of the bolt, which we did and just hadn't managed to get out due to his interruptions. That really left an impression (not a good one) but otherwise I like the store, selection, and pricing. I am guessing I just caught the guy on a bad day or bad moment maybe. Either way, it was irritating because I literally just got, "We have a tv we are trying to mount and -" dude was interjecting to guess incorrectly. I'll shop here again but I'll likely try to deal with people less after this experience.
Bad experience shopping here. I made an order for an item on back-order and after about a week they called me to say that it arrived and I could come pick it up. When I went to pick it up after waiting for 40 minutes they came out to tell me that my order wasn’t there and that they “misplaced” it. They say can place another order for the item and that it would arrive after a week.

Old Rona store good to sed them re-used. Layout ok but well lit and offers a wide selection of products. Lowes always one of the best choices out of the three. Parking lot ok but entry and exit doors far apart.
I have never found this to be a good store to shop at for anything. Service reps hide and check out process is bad. I would prefer to wait and go some where else even if it costs more.

Curbside pickup took almost a week from order to confirmation. Poor signage pointing to curbside spots. Telephone system isn't updated for curbside pickup, have to 0 to operator then get transferred. I'd expect the entire experience to be smooth by now -- the orange hardware store has continued to innovate and improve this service over the last number of weeks.

I had just come from Best Buy where I was looking for a washer and/or dryer combo. I had to stand in line for a while and then when I finally got into the store it took at least 1/2 an hour for somebody to talk to me so I could just ask a question. It was as if the store was abandoned. All of my choices were not available which was nothing unusual. Everybody is having supply issues. The items I finally decided on were going to cost $80 to have them delivered and another $60 to have the existing items removed from the house, With at least a week for delivery. At Lowe's Home Improvements there was no lineup and there was people that actually would talk to you when you got to their area. On the items I finally decided upon there is going to be free delivery and free removal of the appliances in the house already. Lowe's Home Improvements turned out to be a better price and a much more pleasant experience than Best Buy and a sooner delivery date.
This particular Lowe’s is well stocked, decently staffed. And the staff I encountered were friendly and eager to help. They seem to take responsibility in helping you.

This was formerly a Canadian Rona Store which became a Lowes. Same good prices and services. Still gives Air Miles and has financing options for larger purchases. Has "contractor section" with lumber and home improvement materials . Very competitive with Home Depot or Home Hardware. Has public bathroom. Is wheelchair accessible.
All home needs and construction material available. Employees need to be more helpful. Rest everything was fine.
Lots of parking, especially by the contractors entrance. I find their lumber to be straighter than the other big box stores ... so less time sifting through twisted 2x4’s. I also appreciate how they bring their carts inside so you don’t have to park and then drag them in when it’s snowing or raining.

It is definitely worth driving to the south side of K-W to go to this home improvement store. I think their selection is great and a bit less "industrial" looking. I also like their great garden and landscaping selection. I can't tell you how much money I've spent here this Spring.

Garden center is immense rivals some of the nicer nurseries - you won't find anything rare or large trees but excellent selection of anything anyone would need for their outdoor space. Great quality of plants and good soil ... When I repottee one of mine when I got home, it had a mix of triple mix manure and potting loam ... Very nice surprise.
Typical Big Box hardware store, it'll have everything you need and then some. I find prices are generally cheaper than Home Depot by a slight margin but you can price match at either which is good.
I've been coming to this Lowe's now for a good portion of the year for construction materials and tools for my house. All the staff have been friendly and helpful. If you've got a tougher question checkout the contractor desk as this is where the guru's are who can provide a bit more assistance. Lowe's has been a nice change from other big box stores.

Loved my experience here yesterday. Wide selection of items and inventory not found in home depot. There were many bathroom and kitchen setups so you can see what's possible with their inventory, the appliance section was also massive. The staff was very helpful and there were many sales on tiles and flooring products. Very well lit store.

Terrible curbside service. Waited 30 minutes after checking in. What makes it worse was 5 vehicles that came in after me all got their orders before I did. When I got there there were only 2 vehicles waiting so I was hopeful that it wouldn't be long. So much for that.

Worked with Lowes to plan and source everything I needed for a kitchen redesign. Brain Dallner was amazing to work with. Extremely knowledgeable and patient. Did I mention this was a DIY, and our first in a kitchen? Brian answered any and all my questions, at multiple times, whether it was from myself or family members helping. Any time a hiccup arose, which you have to expect with this kind of project, Brian and the team at Lowes were so great to deal with. Can't thank him and Cathy (also in Kitchen's) for their help. So happy with the way my kitchen turned out and would easily recommend them to anyone planning a kitchen project.

Unorganized curb side pickup, no not a busy day at all just 5 cars each getting items at 5 min. All you have to do is wait. Also curb side pickup but need to get off the car and do a check in unlike past where you had to call a line and they’d get your order

Totally disappointing. I’m stuck at home on quarantine with my daughter, and wanted to buy flooring that was on sale this week...but couldn’t go in in person. The Kitchener store had 174 cases of flooring available (I need 9), but aren’t offering an online purchase of this type. So I called the store. Spoke with THREE people, all who told me they couldn’t help, even though I was willing to pick it up next week when we no longer have symptoms, but pay by credit card today. It’s a $500 difference in price. Revolting considering the current climate were it and I’m trying to do the right thing.
My review comes at curbside pickup time during the lockdown. While I think they can be quicker to fulfill an order (took 3 days, Home Hardware is same day), it was the pickup experience I am unhappy about. There are no signs indicating to "check in" at the tent. A car was parked and getting their order verified so I didn't see that I had to drive to the tent. Most other places have designated spots and a number to call. Once I figured out I had to check in, others who arrived after me were served before me. I had received my email so I expected my order to be accessible to the staff and wheeled out quickly as staff were available. That doesn't appear to be the case. I am seriously going to reconsider ordering from this store until in-store shopping resumes.
Ordered outside lights for the patio and did curb side pick up. Ordered Wednesday and got a phone call saying it was ready Friday. The lady who called was very nice and explained exactly what I needed to do when I got there. Waited for about 15 minutes. (I expected to wait longer to be honest) Very organized and a great experience. Thank you so much to all the employees for all the hard work.

Good deals and great selection
A second bad customer service experience in less than two years. I won't be back, had enough of employee and management laziness. Last year the commercial checkout was not scanned leading to lost time (had three staff with me), and the only cashier at the front didn't have the permissions to use some of the cash features which is needed for commercial accounts. I left and went to the Home Depot. Last week I was in the garden centre buying stones to widen a patio. 7 stones of one size and one of another. The employee on cash (with a "Head Cashier" standing beside her, told me if I knew the product numbers. I said no, but they were clearly shown visually in the binder below her counter. She didn't believe me that they sold the single stone piece I wanted as she couldn't find it in the binder that depicts the product and has a barcode beside it. I found it, but again, she didn't believe me and said she'll go back and get the product number. I told her where the skid was in the back aisle. She was gone 7 minutes. A 1minute walk each way at a slow pace, and 7minutes she finally returned and took photos on her personal phone of product numbers, none of which were the product I wanted. She then stated to me with this head cashier right beside her that they don't carry that product. So I said forget it, and left it along side the counter. The so called Head Cashier standing beside her who with essed the entire interaction did nothing. I then had to go to another store to get a stone piece that fit in the area required. Not happy. Won't be back. I also talked to other businesses in similar trades and they'll stay away as well. I left a message for the store manager to touch base and two weeks later received zero response.
Went in for a stainless steel shower tub faucet replacement kit. Brought my old steel one in to ensure I got correct one, size, etc. Fellow seemed helpful and directed me to Danco kit. Assured me it was stainless steel (difficult to tell in hard thick plastic packaging). Opened at home - it's cheap, plastic that'll crack in no time flat. Tues. store hours are incorrect (not open to 10pm) so I can't return it tonight & have this fixed for showering. Also, when this was Rona, it was pet-friendly - a huge plus that was the reason I went there vs. HD.
We would Iike to preface this review with the statement that we have had a longstanding relationship and loyalty to the Kitchener Lowes (previously Rona). So much so that we would go out of our way to ensure materials and goods required for our projects, were purchased from this location if at all possible. We have experienced minor issues and inconveniences from this store from time to time, but always opted to overlook them out of loyalty. Currently we are working on a second storey addition project. In that project a special order kitchen was purchased from Lowes. Due to the current pandemic, delays were expected, accounted for and planned around. We were pleased (as were the homeowners) to receive a notice that the delivery of the kitchen was scheduled. The project shifted to accommodate said delivery and installation of the kitchen. When the kitchen arrived it was missing 3 major components of the kitchen subsequently resulting in a delay in installing the kitchen. At no time was it communicated that these components would not be delivered with the rest of the kitchen. We made multiple attempts to locate and determine when the remaining aspects would be delivered as the homeowners were now without a kitchen. These attempts were made with Lowes and AMJ Campbell (the delivery company) and obtained no resolution. The homeowners (our clients) contacted the new store manager (Andrew) on December 5, 2021 to attempt to mitigate further delays. We and the homeowners were advised by Lowes multiple times they were trying to figure things out and someone would be in touch. No efforts by Lowes were made to contact us about these issues. Finally on December 22, 2021 the homeowners made a final attempt to resolve the matter, by way of an in person discussion with Andrew the store manager. Andrew instead of making an effort to remedy the issues caused by his company decided it would be in his best interest to blame the kitchen installer (our company) for the mix up. The issues were not caused by miscalculation or not ordering adequately. It was caused because a partial custom order was shipped. The lack of communication, initiative to follow through, despicable customer service, followed by Andrew's blatant passing the blame maliciously against one of his clients, just lost his store a loyal and active client. We will no longer be making purchases for any of our projects from this location. The mix up with the delivery was frustrating but the manner in which the issue was addressed was deplorable.

Serves me right for shopping at Lowe's. I went to an out-ot-town store for curbside because they had stock of a particular item (a wood stain) and my local store didn't. When I picked up my order, it was missing the stain, but the Lowe's employees didn't say anything about it even though I had paid for it already. The email to choose a pickup time also said this item is "ready for pickup", but that was obviously not true. Check your orders to make sure every item is there or you'll be out some money! You just can't trust Lowe's with handling these things.

I go and forth between 2 stores. I need 4 piece 3 panels 36 inch bifold doors. One store says they have only one and checked the other store has 7 of them. I went there they said they only one another one is damaged. I asked the gentlemen to call other store to reserve 1 door for me. I went other and bought the door. I asked the helping staff if he had a phone call to make sure and no phone call as I expected. This is not my first bad experience regarding really bad costumer service in Lowe's. Obviously they don't care.

For decor and cosmetic home improvements, Lowe's is better than Home Depot IMO. They have more selection and styles. I tried their curbside pick up today for the first time, and it's not bad. I placed my online order on May 22 and it was ready for me to pick up on May 24. This morning I went to pick up my order, and waited about 10 mins in the designated parking spots. Someone came out, verified it was my order, loaded my car and off I went! No fuss or arduous process, and I didn't need to come into contact with anyone or even leave my car!! I only docked one star because when I called the store (according to the sign) I was disconnected and transferred a few times. This added to the wait a little, but nothing horrible.

Lowe's provided the wonderful customer service I've come to expect when I stopped in to buy 4 sheets of plywood that I needed to be cut in order to fit them in my vehicle. They ripped the boards for me quickly and with a smile. Thanks for another great experience, Lowe's Kitchener!
Received coupon book on Jan 2/18. Coupons expire on Dec 31/17. Called the store to see if they would honour it. They simple explained "no". Fair enough, I understand. Would have been my first purchase at a Lowes. I am positive they spent allot of money to capture the local audience and drive more foot steps into the store vs. reinforce local competitors brand loyalty. Home Depot here I come!

Went during grand opening service good in the store, but at the checkout line service was horrible. Some things were stickered Lowe's & others Rona made us wait so they could find proper price, they took three things to get the price which now I don't know what they took We left without the 3 things waited about a half an hour. The bottom line is we will NOT be back to that store again. HORRIBLE SERVICE.

Worse experience ordering from them in my life. 5 seperate orders and 4 went wrong. 2 went missing altogether and I had to fight for a refund. 2 were scheduled for delivery and never showed up. The only order that was close to being right is the one I picked up myself and had to send the shipper back twice to make sure it was complete. The store is a complete disaster. Shop anywhere else but here.

I have an email saying my order is ready. It was already in stock at the time of ordering. I still have to sit in the parking lot for 20 minutes for six pieces of lumber. I'm really looking forward to being able to grab what I need myself.

I recently purchased all new appliances for my home at this location and I was so lucky to have such incredible customer service and assistance through the purchasing and delivery process. Unfortunately, the third party delivery company was rude and unprofessional but the Lowe’s team went above and beyond to assist us and I am so grateful for them! I would highly recommend this location to anyone in the market for new appliances. 5 star service! Keep up the great work!

Always some interesting stuff to discover. Have to watch the prices. Almost got caught with an $85 box of screws that was $57 elsewhere. Lighting section is good, definitely take a walk through

Ordered concrete friday, order still wasn’t available for pick up until Monday. Went ahead and ordered from Home Depot, order was ready for pickup in 20 mins, same day. I understand covid has been making things hard for businesses but when your competition can do it in less then half a day, then whats the point of even using Lowe’s? This is a pre warning for anyone wanting to order from Lowe’s for curb side pickup, they are extremely slow.
20 days later still waiting for my refund of a product that was NEVER received. Bad business.
I cant give the store no stars but in reality I should. The staff was horrible, They just want you to wander around. I had two staff members outright lie to me and a third was argumentative. I was told to come to the store "More prepared" even though i had the correct part names and the Lowes skus in my hand. If you want building products talk to people who know not only what they are selling but what they stock. I will never go into this store again, just the worst.

I was told by 2 separate employees that they wouldn't help me find a product and that I have to go look myself. I was astonished and let them know I would take my business elsewhere.
Appalling and disgusted by service. We bought a 10k custom kitchen from this location and I am furious with them. They told our general contractor that the kitchen was arriving so he tore out our kitchen, what they didn’t tell him was that the key cabinet piece was not delivered as well as a part was damaged. We have been waiting almost three weeks now for one piece that no one can find and we are still without a kitchen. I have a 6 month baby and a 2yr old toddler at home, having no kitchen is making taking care of them extremely difficult. We have spoken to management and they keep telling us that they will call us back by this date and no calls. Know that if you shop here you will not be valued as a customer at all considering we can’t even be contacted back. If I could give negative stars it would be a negative 5 stars. Horrible, horrible customer service.

Nothing but hassle. Been giving this Lowe's as much business I can as a contractor. I do like their program, but this location is so badly managed I have made the choice to drive out of my way to the Waterloo location which is seriously a completely different experience. Not all bad, but I've seen paint cans brought up to the self checkout that didn't have the lid secured and dump paint all over the machine. Then an employee cleaning it up says that wasn't the 1st time? Lots of excuses from managers and lots of inventory issues and mistakes picking products. It's not home depot with ex trades staffed, if you go in the evening it's pretty much younger employees and I feel that the daytime staff hide. Rarely am I asked, do you need any help? Hopefully this changes but from the reviews I don't have any hope. The 5 star ones? I don't think so... I did shop here about 3 times a week.
Store was a Rona for years, changed into a Lowe's in late 2017. As of Jan 2018 they still don't seem to have pine in their dimensional lumber section, which is very strange even by Lowes' standards. Shiny new kitchen and bathroom vignettes and a big new wall showcasing finishing options are a nice upgrade from the old Rona displays. But so far this store is not as good as the other Lowe's stores nearby, namely Boardwalk in Waterloo, and the one near Hespeler & Pinebush in Cambridge.
Ordered online and scheduled curbside pickup, without any trouble. The pickup area was very busy so I had to wait a little, but it was great. Good job!

I like the quality I get from the items I get here but the customer service was so poor. I called about a curbside order and why it has been processing for over 24 hours. Not only was my information NOT taken, but I was told that there was apparently $500-$600 orders ahead of mine and needed to be done first... and then when I had went to ask how he knew if he didn't have my information, he then said orders can take up to 48 hours and hung up on me. EDIT: After waiting 3 days for my order to be processed, they had called and cancelled my ordered saying that everything I had ordered was not available... okay then why did it say that online? And why take my money for me to wait 3 days?

Took a week to get my online order just to have it lost on the day of pickup. Had to wait while they repicked it and then got part of the order wrong. Everyone's scrambling to make curbside work and while there are going to be issues, just as there was when stores allowed customers in, they've been at this mode long enough that it shouldn't still be occurring.
Nice experience. Needed to mutter cut counter top. They did good job. Not all hardware stores provide this type of necessary service.

Absolutely abysmal customer service. These employees put forth minimum effort and it is very evident by the shopping experience. I actually had an associate ask me to push my loaded flat truck around them so they could finish their conversation with their coworker. Customer service is not something Lowe's is training their "customer service representatives" to exhibit. I'm also convinced no one actually knows where anything in the store is.

Well stocked store, with decent COVID measures in place. There's plenty of room to maneuver in the store, so the lack of one way aisles doesn't feel too concerning, but I did end up being passed by other patrons a bit closer than is recommended right now. No pay by tap available, but many purchases at this store would probably be above the threshold for that anyway.
Only had one people delivering out the curbside pick ups. May have gone fastest if they had one more people working. Wait is about 30 minutes.

Quick heads up to anyone ordering online on lowes website, Most of the online offers are fake. It seems there major focus is to get Credit card information of the customers, and then cancel orders. Look out on next credit card bills, may be someone else will be shopping on your card.
PreOrdered and paid for a gazebo 2 months ago was told would be here end of April. They said they had 24 Shipped to them and I wS number 8 on the list. When they phoned me I was expecting to pick it up only to be told they can't get it. I don't blame the sales associate but head office. Why put stuff in the computer if you can't get it and then leave your staff to hold the bag in the end. Next time I will listen to my husband when he says we should get it from Costco!!!!! Then they give me a hard time to refund it as I had to go to the garden center. Well stores are closed how else am I supposed to get my money back!!!!!

The help provided to help carry out 3 glass shower doors was unhelpful as he barely could lift an end and almost twisted my family members back as he had to do most of the lifting and in a twisted way. And as we were leaving we watched him almost drop another guys product while trying to lift it in to that gentleman's truck. Would be nice to be provided with better stronger adiquite help when aaking for it.
I am big supporter of local business but as I've noticed for last few years quality seems to be diminishing I've only started to shop at big-box stores mainly because they offer a good deal and are willing to assist with the refund when needed. At this location staff is quite friendly and very knowledgeable and overall I appear to get everything I need at a good price
had worst customer service today This morning i was at this location to ask some questions about the kitchen i bought a week ago from lowes but the kitchen expert(Brian) wasn't in his cube so i went to the front and asked a lady if she could page Brian and stepped aside waiting until she paged.But she completly ignored me and she said "I DON'T LIKE PAGING" started helping another customer and i asked is there a manager i can speak to and she said there is a supervisor you can speak to and i spoke to the supervisor.While i was waiting to Brian to show up and to my surprise another lady intervened and said with attitude 'if he is with another customer , he can't help you',,,,,well i know that but can you atleast page him and findout instead of defending ? (if you treat me like this the first day i wouldn't even buy) At the end, a gentlman (supervisor or manager) talked to me and took my info *Customer service needs to be trained to accomidate all kinds of people

Absolutely nobody has any clue whats going on. Waited at the customer service for a curbside pickup after they wouldn't answer the phone. Was sent to pro desk where I stood waiting. Finally asked by a man if I needed help. Sent to a different desk. The lady at that desk sent me to the garden center. A curbside pickup shouldn't involve entering the store and talking to every service person in the building. If there was something lower than 1 star you'd get it today.
So incredibly impressed by this stores staff- I was Involved in a domestic situation. I needed to change the locks on my house. I was unable to shop because of the lockdown and the store went above and beyond. To make sure that I got a walk as soon as they possibly could despite not having to. I really appreciate it!
HUGE COVID 19 CURBSIDE Pickup FAIL for Lowes. I arrived on Sunday at 8am for my confirmed (via email) CURBSIDE pick up. The instructions on the Lowes website and confirmation email advise to park in one of the designated CURBSIDE pick up spots. After circling the lot 3 times I found a Lowes employee who said they don't have designated parking spots for curbside pick up. There was also no posting of the phone number to call store to have order brought out to car for curbside pick up. So I called the number for store and it rang without answer. I then walked into Contractor entrance and was told rudely that I would have to go to Customer Service Desk for curbside pick up (this doesn't feel like a curbside pickup anymore). Upon arrival at Customer Service they told me I would have to go to Contractor desk for Curbside pickup after calling the store from outside (I'm a bit frustrated at this point). I advised that I called earlier and received no answer so I asked for the phone number I should call, after a few minutes of fumbling the Customer Service rep said they didn't have the phone number available (really?) Moments later a second person arrived and after too much back and forth I pleaded for them to organize my order and advised where I was parked for curbside pick up. 20 miniutes later someone came out with my order. In total I dealt with 5 Lowes employees none of which wore masks (the day before it became mandated in Kitchener) and spent 45 minutes at the store. I could have picked up the items I needed and cashed myself out without having to deal with any people in under 10 minutes. We're in a pandemic and this corporation clearly doesn't care after they have processed your credit card payment. HUGE FAIL LOWES on Ottawa St, Kitchener

Most of the staff is helpful here. Had a bad experience with Lisa (I think this was her name) in Flooring, she became very short with us when another member of staff asked her to further assist us. She said she already helped us, very frustratingly, and made it clear she was annoyed with us before walking away without any assistance.
Absolute incompetence! Bought some wood posts there and had them cut to the sizes I needed. Wouldn't you know the guy cut them wrong. When I told him they weren't cut right I was told I was wrong. When I asked him to go measure them he told me his shift was over. REALLY!? Go f#*K yourself Lowe's.

Had a amazing experience with Kevin who works with windows and doors. Went inside to ask for advise with baseboards. Kevin was absolutely knowledge and helpful and answered all my questions in a timely manner. Great service and I will be sure to come back to get product from Kevin anytime. Thank you Kevin!
My husband and I visit this location all the time. The staff are really helpful and friendly, and their selection and prices are pretty good. We find their seasonal items a bit overpriced in comparison to Rona, which they own. The only difficulties they seem to have at this specific location is their self serve checkouts and cashier area. The self serves are down all the time and you end up waiting as the individual who is supposed to be helping is on a register. It's usually best to shop in the off hours!

Take-away message: never order anything online from lowes.ca. I ordered a patio couch and table online on August 25th. The website indicated both were in stock at the Kitchener location. I requested delivery. The website says they will contact you in 1-2 days to arrange a delivery time. I received a call a couple of days later - they told me that the table was actually out of stock and they wouldn't get any more in. They wanted to know if I still wanted the couch. I said yes. It is now October 6th and I still don't have a couch and they haven't contacted me for a delivery time. Lowes.ca says the order is still in progress. I have called a couple of times to see what is going on and get nowhere - no one at Lowes seems to have a clue. I expect they sold these items to someone else in store after I purchased them online and can't be bothered to cancel my order. Customer service at its best.

Great curb side pick up. well organized. Had a small issue at one pick up. I had ordered chlorine pucks for my pool and was notified it was ready for pick up. Within minutes of arrival they notified me that they couldnt find order. They promised to make it right and were gonna search for some at another lowes store. They delevered the product directly to my house within an hour free of charge for delivery. I was very impressed with their service and heart felt apology. Way to go lowes. Two thumbs up.

Went in before closing to pick up something urgent. Spoke with an associate for location of the item and she was very friendly and directed me to it. Cashier was very friendly and nice as well. Have plexiglass for COVID protocols, unfortunately no tap payment but hopefully that eventually comes. Store was clean and will go back again
I purchased some chicken wire at lowes, took it home and installed it. I later realized I could have gotten it cheaper at a rona. I went back to take advantage of the price match guarantee. It is exactly the same product, gauge, size, coating,... just labeled with a different name. I ran into this before at home depot, and they match it with any comparable product. This was my second time at lowes, and most likely my last on. As a piece of advise, price check first, at rona, the same roll is $27 cheaper!

I had an issue and they did a good job of resolving it.
Very disorganized staff. Tried to return an item from another store. Took 30 minutes for them to figure out they can’t process the item. By the time, I tried to check out, the self-check pos ran out of paper and 20 minutes for them to refill the paper. That is 50 minutes of my life, I will never get back.
Fully paid to replace my windshield when it was damaged while loading some lumber.
The store clean .the staff was helpful but bid not have l need.

Buying a clearance item that was clearly related in broken condition does not warrant telling me "we will return it this one time as a courtesy" don't put the owners on me because you sold damaged goods. I specifically left and went to buy what I needed elsewhere because of this interaction. Do me the courtesy of not selling broken items and blaming the purchaser for it.

Store has been expertly refreshed since it was a Rona. The store was clean and service was readily available in the early afternoon on a weekday, on the weekend would be another test. Found the aisle I needed for HVAC products which was relatively small but had the needed parts for the project. Staff at checkout were helpful and did not have to wait long to get on my way. Will visit again.
Terrible customer service experience. I had a scheduled curbside pickup - which I might add is a gongshow. I parked my car and proceeded to their temporary tent at the store entrance to report in like my other recent pickup. I was then scolded by the employee for leaving my car. "I'll let it go this time" I'm told - are you kidding me? Who says that to a customer? Your piss poor signage is terrible. Surely you can afford more than a scrap piece of plywood and spray paint. You're a multi-billion $$ company. Please update your pickup instructions and get a clue. I'll take my business to Home Depot where their pickup is well orchestrated, customer service is A1, and they are light years ahead with notifications with NO requirements to schedule your pickup.
After what started as a rough go (calling in numerous times only to finally ask the customer service women if she could go check if anyone was working in the department as I had called in 5 times. It was a bit of a challenge asking her to do her “customer service” job however after having to ask the store manger John from plumbing most definitely saved the day.
Lowe's honoured their price match gaurantee not even 20 minutes after home depot refused to sell me the item at that price. Sarah in customer service at Lowe's was very helpful and kind.

I was actually taken aback by how nice and friendly the staff was. It wasn't that it was over-the-top or anything, I'm just used to other big hardware stores where the employees act like you're an inconvenience. I will definitely come back for our next project.

Terrible experience over the weekend at this Lowes. No one whatsoever to help us with our large lumber order. Would have been far better off at Home Depot. Wont be back!

They were helpful and took the time to look up my item. When she didn't know were it was they called the different departments to find out exactly where it was. I would have never thought to check the contractors entrance for grass seed.

Expect to wait 30 mins or more for curbside pickup. They bring orders out one-by-one with 2 guys for 1 order. It's been 25 mins and I'm still waiting, along with the 8 vehicles that were here before me.
Just another Big Box Hardware store...spend half hour looking for stuff, get no help and leave.

UPDATE: Received communication from Craig which was reasonable. He has promised to coach his staff and prevent this sort of thing from happening the way that it did - if they all shared his brand of customer service the store would be a better place. He actually tried putting the correct items aside for me - but by the time head-office informed him how upset I was I had already filled an order elsewhere. I did get a refund through the online system. Modifying from 1 to 3 stars because his response was fair, but I need his staff to do better. Original: They tried to give me 1 of 2 matching garden planters and send me away without a refund or any documentation. Was told by email the entire order was ready for curbside pickup. "Manager" thought I should just take the one they could find and drive off without half my order without documenting. "Manager" wouldn't fill entire order and wouldn't provide any receipts. I was told to just cancel the other half and reorder it while trusting they didn't screw up again. Wouldn't be honored with refund nor with guarantee of a match in stock this way. "Manager" wouldn't find an equivalent product. "Manager" did not process refund. Who knows if ill ever get my money back. Cannot ever shop here again. This is not the first curbside problem we have had.

This review is for Peter in the paint department - he is absolutely amazing! He is the most knowledgeable paint employee I've ever met, in addition to being incredibly polite and helpful. He's the only one I trust to recommend products and he goes the extra mile to ensure I'm satisfied with the end result. I hope Lowe's realizes what an asset he is - I honestly only want to buy paint from Peter from now on.

Very disappointed. The website mentioned that difficult orders can take more than 24 hours to process. I placed an order for curbside pickup for a pack of screws Monday morning, April 19th at 8 am. Tuesday afternoon just after 3 pm I called to get an update. I was told that the processing time is at least 3 days long. Big mistake on my part to chose Lowe's for this particular order. The longest waiting time for the orders placed to Home Depot so far was just over 24 hours. I'll go back buying from there!

I want to like lowes, but this location seams to work hard at disappointing you. Good products but normally understafed, and most of the ones there don't know what they are doing.
They make price matching inconvenient to the point of giving up. I'll take my business elsewhere.
Spent 20 minutes - not even kidding, trying to return something! Only one customer service at the counter. She was busy educating the customer on how to use the carpet cleaning machine that they rented out while making the rest of us customers patiently wait. While the customer was filling out the lengthy rental form (which took 5 minutes), why not do a quick return for me instead of making me wait or call for backup. There were a couple of instances where the customer service employee could have stepped in to do a couple returns. The other example is when the carpet rental customer went to the car to get their wallet that they forgot.

Personally enjoyed Rona store. At Lowe’s the customer service didn’t compare to Rona . There is a Rona still in Cambridge . I will shop there as it is a Canadian store not American owned. We are in Canada people shop Canadian.we got our one kitchen at Rona and one at Lowe’s. Paid way more money at Lowe’s and quality not any better. One kitchen cupboard after 3 years literally fell apart on the wall. Rona ones half the price and still holding up fine. Explain that one you get what you pay for didn’t t apply to our cupboards. The cheapest ones won hands down in this case Lowe’s ????

Not recommended for curbside pickup. I ordered a faucet Friday morning, by Sunday no email yet saying it's ready. I called and they were still only working on Wednesday and Thursday orders. I cancelled my order, ordered a faucet with Canadian Tire, got an email 2 hours later saying it's ready for pickup.
Two price tags were wrong. Had to go back in for a fix. Get the tags right, one i could see two makes me think how many other prices are jacked up.
Very clean store. The employees great you and say hello. Will be back for sure.

My wife and I recently had to return a “too big” washer and dryer we’d bought a few months ago, which sat in our garage while our daughter’s condo was renovated. Upon installation of the dryer there was the awful realization that the space was too small for the purchased units. The two salespersons (Jeret and Haley) bent over backwards to oversee: purchasing smaller units, pick up the oversized ones, deliver the new ones for free, and give loads of helpful advice. Other personnel in ceramic tiles and furniture have been knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks for reducing the stress of our condo renovations, Lowe’s, Ottawa St.

Called to ask about renting a carpet cleaner and they seemed very confused. Then speaking to a gentleman about rates and he tells me its different rates for different days but that he Won't go over and check for me... I cut him off and questioned why he wouldn't go over and check the price and he quickly changed it to "I'm gonna put you on a quick hold" needless to say I wont be renting one from them

Terrible place to shop. I placed an order for pick up. A few small garden pots, they took a couple days to have them ready. Dont expect to get what you want today. Curbside pick up is a joke if it takes days to get small items ready. The people who work there aren't friendly. Go to Home Depot awesome employees and they will have your order ready within the hour. 24 - 48 hours for in store pick up is a joke...
I love going in here just before lunch cuz if your contractor you get free granola bars

The staff I have dealt with were all super helpful but the ladies at the return desk totally made my day! They were not just professional but they were very personable. I really felt great after my last visit there!

Even if the 'systems' at Lowes might not be perfect for ordering during Covid, the staff are brilliant. Shout out to Kevin, Dylan, Summer and their store manager Jason who managed a work around so we could get the items we needed.

There is no sign saying that you are supposed to check in at the main entrance. The lady there this morning did not gracefully accepted my feedback. When I was there, there are many other customers had to drive around to go back to the main entrance to check in. It is just a SIGN. Please improve your store's operation and your employee's attitude toward customers.
If you have a lot of time to stand around before getting assisted this is a great store to go. Seems very under staffed. Been there a few times and I would say it was easily 20 min average wait.

Second attempt to get curb side pick up here and once again even though I got an email saying order is ready for pick up it is not ready for pick up. They have no idea what there doing at this location.

Went to store to buy an echo dot that was advertised in the weekly flyer. The sale started on Thursday and I entered the store about 11:10. I searched the store and couldn’t find any. I asked the clerk at the front desk. I was told to ask another clerk at the front because they would be locked up. The clerk checked the computer and said there were four. Another clerk was summoned to open the cabinet. She came and said they were sold out. I asked how they could be sold out already, the flyer just started that day. She smuggley said they are all gone., no apology or any explanation. I told her I would shop elsewhere. This didn’t even raise a .response. This will be the last stop I will ever make to Lowe’s. Home Depot is down the street and from now on I will be going there. Absolutely disgusting customer service. .
Great service...one of their female employees took the time to take us to three different aisles and show us different options. Wish I would of gotten her name as she was very helpful.

Amazing customer service and follow up. Ordered wood panels in Cambridge and the Kitchener team fulfilled it for me. The folks I spoke to on the phone at both stores went above and beyond in terms of being helpful. I did not expect that level of attention from a big box store and will make Lowe's my first choice going forward.
My first go to, based on convenience. Checkout is often only staffed by one person. Good overall selection but sometimes have to make a trip to home-depot to get what I need. Always carts available in the lumber section which is nice.

Staff is friendly at check out. If you know what you are looking for, they have a wide variety of options. If you don't know what you are looking for, finding the right staff or having them paged takes a very long time. Waited for approx. 15 minutes for staff to come cut a length of chain. All in all typical box store.

All the customers and all but one staff member had masks on. Why was this one employee not wearing a mask? A healthy-looking young man with a beard. He could at least be wearing a face shield... And practice social distancing. Not talking loudly so his coworkers can hear him several isles away...
